Our Sunday school class will be starting 2 Corinthians this coming Sunday. In my daily devotions this morning, how surprised I was that it was 2 Corinthian’s chapter 1. GOD is so good!

2 Corinthians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia: it was the will of God for Paul to become an apostle of Jesus Christ. Amen
Paul's Gospel 1 Corinthians 15-1-4, Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and was buried and rose from the dead three days in the power of God. If we know that we are a sinner, believe in the finished work of the cross, what more do we have to do to go to Heaven. Believe with faith plus nothing, that's all. It's that simple. Believe with faith plus nothing. Amen Amen Amen
My friends, Yes Apostle Paul was faithful and believed God, but Jesus had chosen Paul for the Gentiles ( Acts 9:15) and the other Apostles had to follow Jesus comments, do not go in the way of the Gentiles ( Matt 10:5-7). Paul is our Apostle for our time. So Jesus had to give him new Revelations ( Romans 16:25) . We are to follow Paul and read his epistles so we can understand the Bible 2 Tim 2:15
Paul calls the Gospel of Christ "his gospel" because Paul walked by faith, he did everything in faith, he lived in the Spirit, he abides in God's Word.
The Corinthians church had a lot of problems, there was alot of bad things going on, that's why they were called babes in Christ. The Corinthians were not eating the meat of the Word because of there sins. Apostle Paul had a hard time, but he had alot of love for that church. The books of Corinthians will teach Salvation of today, the gospel, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Paul calls it his gospel. Read it
2 corin 1:21 now HE which establisheth us with you in CHRIST and hath anointed us is GOD 1:22 WHO HATH ALSO SEALED US AND GIVEN THE EARNEST OF THE SPIRIT IN OUR HEARTS JOHN 6:27 LABOR NOT FOR THE MEAT WHICH PERISHETH BUT FOR THAT MEAT WHICH ENDURETH UNTO EVERLASTING LIFE WHICH THE SON OF MAN SHALL GIVE UNTO YOU FOR HIM HATH ---GOD THE FATHER SEALED---
Vs. 4 Our God has supplied us comfort through the pages of the Bible. Many of the persons in the Bible serve as an example to us. As we read their examples and overcome trials we can be a source of encouragement to others. May we heed the counsel Matt. 28:19,20 and share the good news.

Thank you, the people behind King James Online. I have not come across an bible online user interface like this. The design is good, the links to other resources very well done. Zooming feature and commentaries makes this interface so unique and special. God bless every hand behind this piece of creativity. This is my favorite online bible resource
Verse 11 highlights the strength of the power of prayer. Here, Paul states that one way to help others is to pray for them. Just as prayer helped Peter escape unjust imprisonment, when we offer heartfelt prayer in the behalf of others, Jehovah God will certainly take notice.
God brought them to a point they could no longer rely upon their own strength so He could show Himself strong in sparing their lives from the death sentence they had in themselves.
the chapter deals with how our lives should be as Christian s and how we should respond to challenging situations that may threaten our faith, knowing that at the end we can only come out more stronger than we started. glory to God for ever.

We want to thank God for all the Veterans who serve and have served by giving their lives as an offering for those of us who are the beneficiaries of Freedom. Thank God that the God of all comfort shall comfort you, as well as welcome you into the heavenly kingdom. It is through service to others that we experience the comfort of God and the consolation that comes in knowing that God raises us.
