Part 3 of 3 Now if you want to look at it this way you can say that we who have gone through the symbolic death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ by doing what Acts 2 38 states to do are now dead to sin, Romans 6 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? We are standing on the Word of God upholding the blood stain banner for those of us that are sleeping in Christ who are waiting for the rapture then I can understand that. Like so many other Christians Paul went through persecution as well, I Corinthians 15 30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour? But in no way is this scripture talking about that we are baptized for our love ones are anyone else through DNA or blood or blood line and that they do not have to go through Acts 2 38. This is not saying that they are automatically saved because we are. In the end, if the people now during this Dispensation of Grace do not take on the name of Jesus Christ before they die they are not saved after death. It is too late, Hebrews 9 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment

Part 2 of 3 You cannot get saved for someone else and pass it through your blood. This is why in Acts 2 39 Peter stated, For the promise is unto you , and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call . If you read 1 Corinthians 15 51 52 then read 1 Thessalonians 4 13 thru 18 this is talking about once again those who have died in Christ taking on his name through Acts 2 38.

Part 1 of 3 Hello Monaledi, The scripture you are talking about does not mean what you are saying. If you read the entire passages of scriptures you will see that Paul is first talking to true believers those who have taken on the name of Jesus Christ by way of Acts 2 38. These passages of scriptures are talking about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is also teaching the Christians at Corinth that the dead in Christ those who have taken on the name of our Lord and Savior through Acts 2 38 will not be hindered when the time comes of the rapture. It is also telling that those who are alive and remain during the rapture that have taken on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ according to Acts 2 38 will be caught up to meet the others in the air 1 Corinthians 48 thru 52. You cannot get baptized for your love ones or anyone else. It does not travel through our DNA. This is a journey that each individual has to take on their own.

  • Monaledi on 1 Corinthians 15:29 - 10 years ago
To understand corinthians 15 29 let us start on John 5 24 which say Verily, verily, I say unto you, that an hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that have heard shall live. 28 Wonder not at this, for an hour is coming in which all who are in the tombs shall hear his voice. Now let us look corinthians 15 29 many people died without knowing the holly spirit but they were promised to receive it. so for their resurrection they must receive their promise. question is how and where would they receive the holy spirit? answer is that every soul is having its blood line meaning blood line on earth equals to blood line in spirit ie. Moses was promised to enter Israel through his descendants. these takes us to a point that if people die without receiving the spirit, surely they will receive it through their descendants if they accept the living apostle and being baptized with the holy spirit. thanks Monaledi Twelve apostles church in christ

The whole chapter is a reminder of where we should put our hope and to persevere in doing the work of God for a time is coming and very soon that He will come to take His elect. The question is, will you be amoung? This present world we are in now is just a passing, fleeting vapour.WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?

The Resurrection is the hope of each and of all the Lord 's children elected in Christ before the foundation of the world. Indeed all of those that have partaken of death, sometimes in great agony, horrible pain, in terrifying fear, and some in calmness of soul, in a quiet and peaceful moment slip out of this world in death, shall be raised in newness of life everlasting. Who says the child of God 's lot in life is a dreary outlook? No, No. a thousand times NO! It will be GLORIOUS!

I quite like this chapter of Corinthian mainly cause of verses 50 56 in this chapter 15 because it relates to my favorite song 'here at last '. My favorite verse in this chapter is verse 57 ' But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ '.
