No this was no gay relationship. This particular area of scripture is one that the homosexuals use to try to justify their sinful relationships.God would never allow sin of any kind to be used as a justification for doing wrong. It is simply a close relationship between two people. Haven't you ever had a really close friend and you were friends and you loved one another very deeply? I'm thankful tha folks can have true loving relationships in their lives where one holds the other far above themselves.

Jonathan loved David as himself. He saw that David was innocent before Saul his father.He saw how much his sister Michal adored David even so much as to save his life. He saw how much the people sang about David killing tens of thousands. And he saw his fathers countenance change toward David. Jonathan was a man that saw alot. His actions and motives were all based on what he saw. He saw honey and hungry people and did bid them to eat. The Words tell you plainly what was said and done. It is profitable to compare
with your own heart to the heart of this mans. He never looked at his own circumstances, his own troubles, his own right to the throne. He put David first. What does God first commands us to do? To love Him with all are hearts, souls,minds and to love our neighbors second.{fellow humans} Jonathan saw in David what the Lord saw in David and felt honored to be his best friend. what a perverse mind this was not a gay relationship.you should repent.vs 3 this covenant was a mutual agreement in which David and Johathan were bound to to care for the needs and attend to the interests of each other.It was a treaty as between equals yet these two men were not exactly equals. it relationship was initiated by Jonathan because he was a member of the royal household. this sound selfish ( as is own soul) I have a relationship with my best friend who is an Evangelist I am not in her at her standard, I am a born again and love the Lord. We both are almost alike when it comes to loving God. we have a bonded soul relationship, By the way I am married and she is single. But we feel each other pain and distress, Our love is because of God's Love, we look out for each other. Now my daughter question our relationship.we just have a love for each because Of God's love.God is love.

No, there common bond was their love for God which bound them together. Do you really think a God of holiness would a homosexual relationship which is an abomination to him?
