1And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah sawe that her sonne was dead, she arose, and destroyed all the seed royall. 2But Iehosheba the daughter of king Ioram, sister of Ahaziah, tooke Ioash the sonne of Ahaziah, and stale him from among the Kings sonnes which were slaine; and they hid him, euen him and his nurse in the bed-chamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slaine. 3And he was with her hidde in the House of the Lord, sixe yeeres: and Athaliah did reigne ouer the land.
