23And hee prepared great prouision for them, and when they had eaten and drunke, hee sent them away, and they went to their master: so the bands of Syria came no more into the lande of Israel. 24¶ And it came to passe after this, that Benhadad king of Syria gathered all his hoste, and went vp, and besieged Samaria. 25And there was a great famine in Samaria: and behold, they besieged it, vntill an asses head was solde for fourescore pieces of siluer, and the fourth part of a kab of doues doung for fiue pieces of siluer. 26And as the king of Israel was passing by vpon the wall, there cried a woman vnto him, saying, Helpe, my lord, O king. 27And he said, If the Lord do not helpe thee, whence shall I helpe thee? out of the barne floore, or out of the wine presse?
