40For thou hast girded mee with strength to battel: them that rose vp against me, hast thou subdued vnder me. 41Thou hast also giuen mee the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me. 42They looked, but there was none to saue: euen vnto the Lord, but he answered them not. 43Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth: I did stampe them as the myre of the street, and did spread them abroad. 44Thou also hast deliuered mee from the striuings of my people, thou hast kept mee to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not, shall serue me.
