1When I would haue healed Israel, then the iniquitie of Ephraim was discouered, and the wickednesse of Samaria: for they commit falsehood: and the thiefe commeth in, and the troupe of robbers spoileth without. 2And they consider not in their hearts that I remember al their wickednesse: now their owne doings haue beset them about, they are before my face. 3They make the king glad with their wickednesse, and the princes with their lies.
