42Iesus saith vnto them, Did ye neuer reade in the Scriptures, The stone which the builders reiected, the same is become the head of the corner? This is the Lords doing, and it is marueilous in our eyes. 43Therefore say I vnto you, the kingdome of God shall be taken from you, and giuen to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. 44And whosoeuer shall fall on this stone, shalbe broken: but on whom soeuer it shall fall, it will grinde him to powder. 45And when the chiefe Priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceiued that he spake of them. 46But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they tooke him for a Prophet.
