6¶ And Moses said vnto the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren goe to warre, and shall ye sit here? 7And wherefore discourage yee the heart of the children of Israel from going ouer into the lande, which the Lord hath giuen them? 8Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land. 9For when they went vp vnto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not goe into the land which the Lord had giuen them. 10And the Lords anger was kindled the same time, and hee sware, saying,
