2When the righteous are in authoritie, the people reioyce: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourne. 3Whoso loueth wisedome, reioyceth his father: but hee that keepeth company with harlots, spendeth his substance. 4The king by iudgement stablisheth the land: but he that receiueth gifts, ouerthroweth it. 5A man that flattereth his neighbour, spreadeth a net for his feet. 6In the transgression of an euill man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and reioyce.
