7Our fathers vnderstood not thy wonders in Egypt, they remembred not the multitude of thy mercies: but prouoked him at the sea, euen at the Red-sea. 8Neuerthelesse hee saued them for his Names sake: that hee might make his mighty power to be knowen. 9He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried vp: so hee led them through the depthes, as through the wildernes. 10And he saued them from the hand of him that hated them: and redeemed them from the hand of the enemie. 11And the waters couered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
