Here is a passage: "And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking./After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly."

Jesus makes the blind look up. He sees men walking? Do you spiritually explain it or literally take it? God has given every one same faculties, and heart to know the truth. Either you are an instrument for good or darkness has taken possession. You may indulge in Jesus talk but it is merely eye wash. They are sent as missionaries to ends of the earth, and what souls care they winning if their own soul is damned?

    Gen.1.2 "Darkness" (2 of 2)

"and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

    (Continued from the previous)

2."And they that sell them say, Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich:" "ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!"(23.16-19)

3."And their own shepherds pity them not"(v.5) " hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation./Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves."(vv.14-15) Finally we have Jesus quote: "For ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Darkness still remains generations after generation and it is the face of the deep we live in it!

"In him was life; and the life was the light of men./And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." ( John 1.4-5) Without the true Light what does literalism and hypocrisy of flase teachers in our midst are we to be shocked at the level of false doctrines circulating about? Only Jesus Christ can help them. "And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking./After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly"( Mk 8.24-25)

"In thy light we se see the light."

"For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven." (Ps.119.89)

Jesus Christ as a sign is the glass we look at so we are changed, " But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."(2.Cor.3.18) How the Spirit has given a meaning say to a word as 'the face' cannot change. When Zechariah speaks of "Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me,"they belong to darkness. It was upon the face of the deep. Thus it qualifies beyond the nation of Israel. We shall go from the specific to the universal sense.

Who are they? They lord over the poor of the flock. "1. Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty:2. and they that sell them say, Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich: 3.and their own shepherds pity them not."(v.5). They covenanted with Judas Iscariot so the Spirit clearly instructs us who are these, "and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord." The just shall live by faith and they 'waited upon me'.

Now Jesus in his woe to ye in Mt.ch.23 refers to all the three. We shall compare athe Zechariah quote with the Jesus quote and apply to the present white washed sepulchres.

They lord over the poor of the flock." For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers."

Zech quote "1. Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty." "The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:/All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

    2."And they that sell them say, Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich:" "ye blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing;

Thank you Richard! I am still thinking that there is a spiritual Israel through the Law of Moses that was seen again perfectly at the transfiguration and a natural Israel that was led over land to the cross. My thought is being part of any war related to the land by natural Israel as I believe like spiritual Israel, when I was born again I am with Jesus now in his rest.

    Morning meditations.

    God bless our faithfulness.

    Mk 8.11-12 "Sign from heaven"

"And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him./And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation."

This sign from heaven is called the face, a spiritual plane where the Spirit of God can work with another. The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. By the same token the unclean spirit of disobedience works " and darkness was upon the face of the deep". The spiritual meaning of the face is consistent throughout. "But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground." This is a plane and not to be taken face is also round in literal sense. So Jacob sees in a dream of the ladder. It has a spiritual plane. Thus the firmament declares the handiwork of God, to which we apply the quote from James, is compared to a glass,"But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed." ( Jas 1.22-25)There is face veiled by literalism and prejudices and also open face. "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."( 2 Cor.3.18)It is thus the imposter churches keep drumming on heresies from their jaundiced view and see Jesus and his Atonement is limited.

Our heart also has a spiritual plane where truth is written, how can they see in holding it synonym for total depravity?

God has shined this light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. We call this "the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God". It is thus Jacob waking out of his dream says,"this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven." Heart as a looking glass. So he knows. (28.17

Let me add further to the firstS

The shepherd motif here used by Zechariah here sets him as the double for Jesus Christ. Jesus as the Good shepherd.

'That waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord' and It is the Word which was God and Jesus Christ for the same reason is same yesterday, today and forever. What does it mean? The motif of the Lamb slain connects with the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world ( Jn 1.19). The same Spirit of God ought to correctly interpret the text. "And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him./And I knew him not." By literalism and by preconceived notion to establish Israel by hook or crook, sects interpret but John would be helped by the Holy Spirit. What is 30 pieces? 3x10 where 10 is a number of condemnation, the decalogue and law of sin and death was settled. "and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver:" (Gen.37.28) Compare the significance of the 20. Sin of his brethren was in 2x10 Against God and thee as the prodigal son would say,"Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,"(Lk.15.16)

Breaking the staff in the book of Zechariah has two meanings. " My covenant which I had made with all the people." refers to his Son as the Saviour of the whole world." With all the people. This is the primary sense. In the narrow sense,"that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel."(v.14) This explains Bands. The other staff Beauty breaking the connection between Israel and Christ. He takes the symbol of the Last Adam instead. Beauty of his holiness, " Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth."(Ps.110.3)

re. your statement on the Zech quote, you write 'the only place I can see God breaking a covenant' let me add. Seeing is not believing so let me add this for your careful attention. The covenants mentioned by Carleton as though so many as business cards one distribute to all and sundry to merit any answer but you quote Zechariah and if you read carefully it must be clear that 'the covenant' it refers is Person specific. So we have 30 pieces of silver mentioned,. The three shepherds figure in Mt.26.15 "And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver." Zech. 11.12-13 was fulfilled The covenant is solely limited to 'the slain Lamb before the beginning of the world'.

In v.8 "Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me." Who are they? They lord over the poor of the flock. "1. Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty:2. and they that sell them say, Blessed be the Lord; for I am rich: 3.and their own shepherds pity them not."(v.5). They covenanted with Judas Iscariot so the Spirit clearly instructs us who are these, "and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of the Lord." The just shall live by faith and they 'waited upon me'

Besided the number Three always is used as tag by the Spirit in direct frame of reference to the Son. There os only one faith and consequently one Covenant to which we are bound.

The expected growth development and maturing of a true born child of God.

We are "not born again of a corruptible seed but of the incorruptible seed which is the Word of God "

Man was created in the image of God but he is BORN in the image of Adam and of a corruptible seed .

Now the law of God that states every seed brings forth fruit after its own kind applies to all seeds .

Which is why we are not a fish kind , a dog kind or some sort of ape kind but Man kind.

Being born of the first Adam we are born of a corruptible seed . Which by the fall and of sin can only bring forth corruption unto death . But the same law that applies to the corruptible seed applies also to the incorruptible seed which by that law is preordained bring forth righteousness unto life .

Jesus speaking of Himself said " Unless a seed of wheat falls into the ground and die it anideth alone but if it does it will bring forth much fruit " What sort of fruit? After its own kind .

The kingdom of God is likened first as unto a sower that sows the goid seed of the Word" but later teaches that you have the seed of the good seed and that of tares which in turn teaches we have children of God and children of the devil .

Did no the Lord say to some Jews who " believed on Him" you are of yiur father the devil "? For it is written the " seed of the woman ( not of Adams seed) and the seed of the serpent "

All this sheds a little light on 1John and the children of God

From " little children " to " young men" and onto " ye fathers" .

Growth development and maturity . New BORN children do not remain so nor can they grow as they should just on milk .

But are expected to grow into " young men" in whom the Word of God dwelleth in you richly and you have very one the wicked one " Now there is a statement to which how many does it apply?

But young men are expected to grow and mature as well so we have " Ye fathers you know Him who is from the beginning" .

As a foundation for any man's thinking is it not written that " When the Holy Spirit shall come ,He will lead us into all truth"? and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free ?

In the matter of what is called the" rapture" but which really should be called the " translation" of the Bride . The importance of the matter as to the truth WHEN it will happen is beyond dispute. For if a man believes it will be post great tribulation and it is pre great tribulation he clearly will not be ready and will miss it .

That there is so much confusion in the church is a result of so much confusion in many a pulpit who aproach the scruptures in a purely intellectual subjecting them to man's thinking nd understanding rather than man subjecting his thinking to the scriptures and " leaning upon the beloved ".

First we must understand the scriptures have two 'tribulations' . The one that " all who live Godly in Christ Jesus will suffer tribulation" this is the lot of all who live Godly lives .

Then there is the " great tribulation" a time when if the Lord did not shorten the ( number) days no one would be saved" .

This is the time of the anti christ and of " Jacobs trouble" and the outpouring of Gods judgements upon the world

This we must have clear in our minds .

Now no man knows the time of His appearing " In the air" but we are given signs of the season .

As in the days of Enoch is one . Note that Noah was also in those times . He was saved through Gods judgement on the earth . Enoch was translated before the outpouring of it and did not see death . " For God took him" .

As in the days of Lot " In the days of Lot we also had Abraham . Now Lot though counted righteous ( for his righteous soul was vexed") he walked by sight and not by faith for when they both were blessed so much the land coukd not contain them without conflict Abraham who walked by faith said to him " If you go that way I'll go this way but if you go this way I'll go that way "

Hello again. God bless, thank u for the answer.when. When you mentioned the question mark I looked for it, here in the original text, and it seems that it may have been added in my language. It may have been added because the language is "clumsy" and because the words are difficult to describe and translate into English. I honestly don't know, but I will mention this to the publisher. I have already filed a complaint. Unfortunately, it seems that newer King James Bibles are being shortened. And no one can allow that.

Take care, love u in Christ Romans 5

    Gen.29.14 "God of Nahor"

"And Laban said to him, Surely thou art my bone and my flesh. And he abode with him the space of a month."

The Spirit quote specifically this phrase 'my bone and my flesh' out of the rather voluble expressions of an Oriental reception, which is formal and is bound by flourishes of gestures,- bowings and scrapings are part of it, is to evoke the creation of Eve. Adam referred to the God of Jacob when he used it while Laban is referring to God of Nahor which are quite different things. In Ch.31 we read of a covenant Jacb and Laban makes and "The God of Abraham, and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, judge betwixt us."(31.53) In the heart of Jacob was fortified by faith in the Living God while Laban's god was in objects which later shall manifest as teraphim and golden calf at Bethel and Dan. The same God marked by the compound number 12. We came across the progeny of Nahor. (Gen.22.20-24) Laban had set up his family gods so he could go on bamboozling Jacob without any prick of conscience. These gods became a bone of contention between them. Jacob refers to it, "Thus have I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast changed my wages ten times./Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight." (31.41-42) Jacob refers what his God can do that God of Nahor cannot. This precisely explains the heresy of 'prosperity theology' and rascals who hoodwinks gullible widows and grand old ladies have their family gods in dollars and crypto. But God shall avenge their victims. From very close experience this writer can testify how God has caught these villains by their own traps. When God reclaimed, my old age became the most satisfying period of life. This is the Lord's doing. (Ps.118.23)

As an addendum the promises given to David ruling with Christ as well as Christ Himself ruling and reigning after he comes back to break apart the Mount of Olives and many other prophetic verses especially in Isaiah clearly demonstrate the land of Israel will be under the natural man (those that survive the Tribulation) and we who are returned after that time in glorified bodies. The Holy City will hang over the earth and eventually descend ( Rev 21; 22) and Isaiah 66 shows that hell will also be outside the city.

I would say look at Zechariah 11:10. It is the only place I can see God breaking a covenant; and that is to usher in ultimately Christ's return and national repentance of the 1/3 that are refined in the Tribulation. These factors were said to be initiated with the church and the initial destruction in AD 70 of the Jews; but it is more completely fulfilled in the time of "Jacob's trouble".

God; of course has a new covenant for all who will believe by creating a new heart in those who would come to faith; but some day the Jews will be "provoked to jealousy" as Romans 12 or 14 states. Other places talk of God continuing his promises when the covenant is violated as man can never be the ultimate one who determines such a thing. Probably the Antichrist and his own turning against their covenant of "death and hell" as Isaiah puts it is also reflecting God's breaking of protection as He is the one who gives the permission for the authority of this individual and his sidekick for 3 1/2 years. They will have of course rejoiced with the world in the death of the 2 witnesses beforehand and the world will be ready to take the mark. Sad reality.

Good evening! I have a question. Do we mostly believe that land was promised in the first covenant of God by Moses or was land only promised in the renewed covenant after the first was broken? I have been thinking about this today. Hope everyone is well!

Indeed, Skehn32, as David did, so must our gaze always be on our loving Heavenly Father Who is before us. If He is not before us, then it is us who have put Him aside from our vision, only to give Him a sideways glance from time to time. But if He is ever before us (in our gaze and in our hearts & thoughts), we can remain confident that we will "not be moved", whether by the world's attractions or of our enemy's lies & deceptions. Stand firm in the beauty, confidence, and joy of your LORD.

    (Revelation Part 28b):

    Revelation 4:1 Continued

There are different theological approaches to the book of Revelation, and I'll try and point out some to you as we go through this. But Chapter 4 Verse 1 is the verse that's used by those who believe that the believers will be raptured prior to the Tribulation Period, because number 1, the door had been opened, and number two, a trumpet was talking to him.

It's the same as Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 4:13, I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, as others which have no hope. He had just said in this chapter that the trump of God would sound. It would be a great shout, and the trump of God would sound. And so here is the trumpet talking to John saying come up here.

And those who hold the Pre-Trib. position see that as equivalent to the rapture of the church that is happening. And from now on, John will see everything from heaven, and the church will no longer be on the earth, but the multitudes will be in heaven.

And many believe that's an indication, among other scriptures, especially 1 Thessalonians Chapter 5 where it gives us the Tribulation Period, and he says this is for the wrath of God, and we have not been chosen for the wrath of God.

    (Revelation Part 28a):

Revelation 4:1 - After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

First, let me share with you that the Greek word for our English word hereafter is the word META TOUTA which means after these things.

After this, and the Greek text reads META TOUTA, after this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must happen hereafter, META TOUTA.

This of course is Christ. We know that from Chapter 1. But I wanted to read that last line of Verse 1. These are the things that must happen META TOUTA. And that's exactly what he said in Verse 19. So, the things that are hereafter go from Chapter 4 Verse 1 through Chapter 22 Verse 5.

So, we're starting on this part three, the things which shall be hereafter. And Chapter 4 Verse 1 through Chapter 5 Verse 14 is the description of the scene in heaven. The first two verses is the transition in heaven.

John says, after this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: The Perfect Tense verb shows that the door had already been open. It was standing open when John saw the door.

Secondly, and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; That would be back in Chapter 1 Verse 10. That's the Lord Himself, speaking as it were a trumpet, which said to him, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter, or META TOUTA.

Revelation 3:12 - Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

To the one overcoming (Present Participle), I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: That pillar being that stationary permanent fixture in God's temple in heaven. He says you'll never go out again.

Earlier, I said that if you hang in there and read the rest of the scriptures, it tells you what the new name is. And I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down from out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. It's His name, name of ownership!

    Revelation 3;14 - And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

To the angel of the church of the Laodiceans, the direction to John, write; and then we see the description of Christ: These things says the Amen. This is found twice in Chapter 1, but it is from a Hebrew word, AMEIN, which means of a truth, or so be it. Christ is the Amen.

In Chapter 1, He is the faithful and true witness, and He is the beginning of the creation of God, which is a paraphrase of Him being the first begotten from the dead which is a title to be the head of those who have died. He is the beginning of the creation of God.

Revelation 3:21 - To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

To the one who is overcoming (Present Participle), will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also have overcome, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Talk about an intimate fellowship that time will be!

    (Revelation Part 26):

Revelation 3:5 - He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

He that overcomes, and again, that's a Present Participle. To the one who (is) overcoming, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

There are references in the Old Testament that tell us there's more than one book ( Exodus 32:32-33, Daniel 12:1-2, Psalm 69:28). There's the book of life which has listed in it everybody that has received human life. And then there's the book of the Lamb, those who belong to Christ.

In the book of life, if a person rejects Christ, their name is removed from the book of life as if they've never been born. They're gone! But no one is ever blotted out of the Lamb's book of life. If you go back into the Old Testament and you study from those references, it will show you that there's more than one book. And the Jews knew that.

It's not that God has books up there. But it's just a human example or an illustration that God knows everything, all the people that have been born, and all the people that belong to Christ. He says I will not blot out his name out of the book of life. And I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Jesus said that He would do that.

    (Revelation Part 25):

Revelation 2:26 - And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

And he who is overcoming, again that's a Present Participle. He who (is) overcoming, and keeps my works. The word keeps is not to do. It's TEREO, which means to guard against outside influence interfering with the Lord's works. Who keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

Revelation 2:28 - And I will give him the morning star.

Beginning in the book of Numbers, there's a prophecy given to the Jews that the star represented the Messiah. In Revelation 22:16, we will see that Jesus says He is the morning star. It represents the Messianic rule of Christ.

Revelation 3:3 - Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. The phrase "hold fast" is the word TEREO which means to guard.

1 Kings 16:29-30 Ahab was king of Israel. He had authority, but not conviction. 1 Kings 16:31 He married Jezebel, a pagan princess from Tyre who worshipped Baal. 1 Kings 16:32-33 With her came not just a woman... A cult came. Idolatry came. Blood came. Ahab stopped listening to God's voice in order to please the queen (implicit throughout his reign, especially in 1 Kings 21 and 22). 1 Kings 18:4 Jezebel used the throne to manipulate, persecute and silence all that was of God. 1 Kings 18:13 She had prophets killed. 1 Kings 16:32 She built altars to Baal. 1 Kings 19:2 She persecuted Elijah.

Ahab was king. Jezebel was queen. But it was his ego that really ruled. The power that was supposed to protect became a tool of control.

Political marriage, alliance with idolatry.Prophets persecuted. The truth silenced.A throne sustained by fear, vanity and cowardice.

And when the vineyard of a simple man was desired by the king, Jezebel plotted. She forged documents, set up false witnesses and had Naboth killed. All to satisfy a whim.

But God saw. And he said through Elijah:

"In the place where the dogs licked the blood of Naboth, they will also lick yours, Ahab.""And Jezebel will be devoured by the dogs by the wall of Jezreel." 1 Reis 21:17-19, 23

Ahab died in battle. A "random" arrow pierced his armor. His blood flowed. And the dogs licked it up. Jezebel tried to maintain control until the end. She put on make-up, adorned herself, showed off (v. 30). But she was thrown out of the window. Stepped on. And eaten by dogs. All that was left was her skull, her feet and her hands. 2 Kings 9:33-35 What was left of her appearance... was precisely what she exposed the most.

Free, faith is the only answer and He did not spare his only Son for our sakes. So nothing shall happen by accident or luck. He says in v.43 "Who hath ears to hear, let him hear." The Spirit means to say whoever has faith so it shall be and Jesus christ is not for adding to the number. He says a few are chosen who receives the word as a child. His Will has mapped out complete and His Son shall fulfill it to perfection.

By the way I did not see any exclamation point at the end of v.43.

    With blessings,

    Gen.29.1-14 "A pastoral scene"

"Then Jacob went on his journey, and came into the land of the people of the east." Before we discuss this pastoral scene everyday happening let us get our bearings first. Jacob is going east, and since the Spirit set up a dream and showed the movement of angels ascending and descending this east in terms of geography has to be set in terms of the Lord standing over it. It is thus we make sense of three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks: and a great stone was upon the well's mouth.(v.2). The Spirit shows the lapse of time since Abraham sent 'his apostle' on a similar errand searching for a bride for his Son. "And he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water."(24.11) Abraham and Isaac are correlated by the 'After our image" while Jacob is now set down as the son 'after our likeness' so it is in relation to Rachel who is cast in the role of the bride of Christ. God at sundry times sent his prophets and in the last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things. So we have the time set as high noon.Jacob tells the people of Haran,"And he said, Lo, it is yet high day, neither is it time that the cattle should be gathered together: water ye the sheep, and go and feed them."(29.7) The idea of the bride of Christ was introduced in the earlier quote and time was set in the evening, significance of it is consistent. And the evening and the morning were to indicate the divine Will set rolling in the everlasting Covenant. Now 'it is yet high day.' Jacob in the true sense shows of the custom of the land, ' that Jacob went near, and rolled the stone from the well's mouth, and watered the flock of Laban his mother's brother."(v.10). his action is similar to Jesus in his day telling the Jews that he was the Lord of Sabbath. Significance of the number Three refers to the Son.

    Gen. Ch.29-50 "Deceit"

Before we move into the rest of the book of Genesis it is spiritually instructive to follow the consequences of Jacob's deception on his father. It was Rebekah who thought up the plan. 'Upon me be the curse' she said before Jacob went along with the idea. " And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son."(27.12-15) God blessed him despite of this deception because the Will was beyond the recall. As Jacob the heir of promise he was blessed but a man it shall haunt him through the rest of his life. We shall enumerate it. In the house of Laban we have the Syrian practising a bait and switch on Jacob the heel-catcher. " What is this thou hast done unto me? did not I serve with thee for Rachel? wherefore then hast thou beguiled me?" (29. 25) Jacob thought it was Rachel to wive but what he had was Leah. Getting out of the house of Laban was not without problem. The family gods had simply disappeared. Laban is in a quandry "And now, though thou wouldest needs be gone, because thou sore longedst after thy father's house, yet wherefore hast thou stolen my gods?" Here Rachel did merely what she had to do and it nevertheless was in the fitness of things. Having 12 sons brought their own problem. Jacob sent Joseph to enquire of the whereabouts of his brethren who were in Dothan. Jacob had a shock of the news his sons brought. " And they took Joseph's coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood;/And they sent the coat of many colours, and they brought it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son's coat or no./And he knew it, and said, It is my son's coat; an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt rent in pieces." (37.31) The circle of deception began with the raiment of Esau that he put on. What now he was looking at his own beloved son. What more proof one would need than this?

My impression was that the presence of God was before me, or more that I was in front of him and that of Christ at his right hand, & I was before & below him as well. I could not help but reach up. I was reflecting on psalm 16. Thankyou for your reply. I do believe he is with us always, just our awareness of this is lacking(read my awareness here) it was just the first time It happened to me, That I had felt the need to lift my hands to god.

    Gen.28.18 "Pillar"

Jacob, "and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it".

Jacob sets up the stone for a memorial, and he foreshadows Jesus Christ who promised to the overcomer, " Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name."(Rev.3.12;2.24) New Jerusalem that comes down we have seen already in the dream of Jacob. The Spirit gives us a new insight into the quality of faith. It is one language and one speech the entire will is subsumed therein and also the role of the Son. So without faith ask yourself, are you gathering with Jesus Christ or scattering it? What are the churches that have set up on the pagan Rome? All these heresies for which they have built megachurches are 'the depths of Satan'. In Ezek.8 we see it, "Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth./ He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do." Digging through the wall is another way of these heresies running through generations. It is what happens below the mid-heaven or the firmament. "Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door./And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here."(8--9) This door is the gate of 'thine enemies'. Their activism is against the holiness of God. Seventy elders made up of 7x10 explains the end times. And 'in the dark' what do they? Nationalism, for instance.

    Gen.28.18-22 "Bethel"

" And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee."

Here we have Jacob setting the will of God, and the dream is the trigger where Melchizedek blessing Abraham has a bearing on the action. Firstly God revealed to Moses of a kingdom, "And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation."(Exod.19.6). Melchizedek, the king of Salem brought Abraham bread and wine, symbolism of these cannot be lost to any. So we have anointing the stone, acknowledging the spiritual rock as the foundation of the God's house. Bethel or Luz the name connects Jacob as priest-king as the double for the Son. Abraham paid tithes so he is establishing his credentials as of 'thy seed'.

When Jesus cleansed the temple he "saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer?"( Mk 11.17). Here his authority is established and it is God which was the Word who gives it. St John testifies "And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.. Jesus Christ on the right hand of the throne says it all. The memorials representing the body of this 'kingdom of priests and an holy nation' declares, "And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth." It is this earth where the 12 foundations of the holy city of God rests. This is to be seen. In short this is the new earth from which we hear the new song, "a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation."(Rev.5.9-10; 13.8). The phrase,'thou wast slain' is referring to the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world. Time as the Spirit gives us is the reconstituted time, not to be confused with the earth time.

Many thanks for your answer. So then it seems clear that God had determined this in advance. We can never believe that we have the ability to see the future like He does, and His wide view, Hallelujah Amen. The responsibility lies with His wisdom in all things. But from the scriptures we can understand the time. Be well and be blessed you and yours. Matthew 13:36-43 notice the exclamation point. v 43

Hello all dear co-workers under Christ. I came across some words that I have probably read many times, but never pondered so much. For in His time He reveals what He wills, as He wills. Amen

    Matthew 13:47-52

We who long for His coming know that these are relevant words right now. And in v. 49 So it will be at the end of this age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous. v. 50 and throw them into the chariot of fire. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

So all of us who believe and have received something good and new from the Lord. Must in these times bring out from our treasuries, what has been given to them. Something to rejoice over and something that makes our hearts burn. Something for repentance and something for enlightenment. None of us are complete until we arrive at the Lord Jesus. Because as many as possible can enter the rest God has promised to those who endure to the end. My responsibility lies in doing my best for the Lord. Who has done so much for me. And He will continue to give. He does not take, Stay stong in the word og God. Hallelujah Amen.

"I have seen an end of all perfection" (Ps.119.96) This is how sinful man has treated the earth.God's wisdom his very perfection with such monstrosities! No wonder Babylon must fall and it is to which all our cities are heading. Then an angel throws the stone from heaven end of the nations in a splash (Rev.18) Have a blessed day,DSCY222
