The vision may be of the future, resurrected Jesus Christ, transfigured as Son of Man, and may be predicting his descent (coming again) as the gospel says. The vision is seated, and referred in the masculine (His robe). The train of His robe are those saved, and there are many of them. Clearly Isaiah is terrified, but in crying out, recognising his guilt, he is saved. Although a mighty prophet, he is not permitted to explicitely predict the fulfillment of God's Law in The Crucifixion, instead predicting Messiah in terms that were concealed truths. (In the future, such salvation as Isaiah experienced will happen until The Day of Judgement, when many will not be saved, as they have closed their minds to what The Resurrection implies for the human race).

God, the Father (Creator) demands that no man made attempt be made to depict Him visually. Although Isaiah's vision is obviously not a man made object, the Book of Revelation Ch 5 v6:7 appears to be differentiating visions of God The Father (seated)and God The Son (standing). This might make you think that Isaiah saw The Creator seated on His throne.

So I'm sitting on the fence, but I think the question is excellent.

Jaden, A good question, and, I trust, a sincere one, because you do have to believe. Believe in God, believe in his Spirit, and believe in His word (The Bible) not just some of it but ALL of it even the parts you don't understand right now. Here are some scriptures to get you started(but I implore you to read the whole chapters). Mark 16:16, Luke 24:45-49, Acts 2:37-39, again I beg you to read the whole chapters and, I might add, hopefully it won't be true, you might start seeing comments on this site like; "that was for the early church", or "that doesn't pertain to us today", well who are we to pick and choose what God said? In Christ, Gerald.

Dianne, Hi! thanks, Forgive me for responding so late I work at night and it's hard for me to keep a consistent schedule. I don't profess to be a scholar but I have been studying and reading God's Word for over 35yrs and still get amazed at how you can read a verse interpret it to some degree even be enlightened by it and a few months or even years later that same verse will speak to you again in a whole new way. I have no doubt it is what it says in 1 Peter 1:23.....being born again not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever....but please read that whole chapter it puts the scripture in better context. Thanks again! In Christ, Gerald.

May God find you in your moment of need and restore you and your family's heart with healing. May He guide you and lead you to a place of fullness that doesn't require seeking anything other than His unfailing love and glory. May your family unite as one, and find forgiveness as our Father has forgiven us. May you find your hearts flooded with joy, love, comfort, peace, and blessings only the Lord and God of Israel can bestow. May you pray to Him and ask for guidance and wisdom in your moments of temptation. May you seek him in moments where the devil calls you by your sin, but God calls you by your name. God bless you and your family.

Larry Sin is broken fellowship with God I.E. going against His Word, the word serpent in genesis is figurative language for the slyness by which Eve was deceived, the two who first broke Gods word were Adam and Eve there actions went against the only thing God told them not to do. The consequences of their actions man has paid for ever since but was paid for by Jesus Christ.

What must one do to be saved? Christians say you need to believe and that's it, some also say that you need to repent and believe and be baptized, but them others will just say repent and believe. This is doing nothing but confusing me. How can I be saved?

    Roxie Ross,

If I may add to what English sacha and Dianne said (Both great answers), what Jesus said in Mark 3:35 was not promoting irresponsibility towards family. He was showing priority. There are many kinds of physical families in the world, but there are only two kinds of spiritual families, those who are energized by Satan to fulfil the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and those who have been born again by the Spirit of God and belong to Jesus Christ.

Jesus said I did not come to bring peace on the earth. I came to bring a sword. I came to bring division. He said there will be a family of five, and three will be divided against two. Some will receive Christ, and some will reject Christ. And He said it's going to bring division. So He is showing priority.

Jesus said that if a person should not hate mother and father, and brother and sister, and wife, and houses and lands for my sake, they can't be my disciple. Hate? That's a pretty strong word! But the Greek word for hate (MISEO), is a word of comparison.

What it is saying is that you should love Jesus so much that everybody else thinks you don't like them anymore. I mean, it's not even close between them and Jesus for us. Well, what if it is your brother? What if it is your mother, or your spouse, or your children?

Jesus said it can't even be close. Jesus is saying take care of your mother, take care of your brother, and take care of your family, but you belong to me. If our family turns on us because of our devotion to Christ, we have a spiritual family, lots of brothers, lots of sisters, and lots of mothers.

Personally, I like the lots of mother's part. That means the more mothers, the more chocolate chip cookies!

    Hello Ron,

Your original question had to do with the unpardonable sin. The bible teaches that the only sin that is unpardonable (cannot be forgiven) is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. The word blasphemy means to reject. In order for a person to be saved, they must receive Christ. They must be born of His Spirit. A person must come to Jesus and surrender their life to Him.

But Jesus said in John 6:44 that no one can come to Him unless the Father first draws them to Him. So God sends His Spirit to a person to convict them of their sin and their need of a Savior, the Savior being Jesus Christ. But if a person rejects the testimony of God's Spirit (Holy Spirit), that person cannot be saved, nor forgiven for that rejection. That is the unpardonable sin, rejecting the testimony of God's Spirit.

Now to answer your other question. I would guess that most of us have heard the expression "Holy Blank" used before. But how often do we hear this come from the mouth of a person who is a true believer and is being led by God's Spirit which lives in them? I would like to think it would be rare. For the believer, we are told in Ephesians 4:29 to let no corrupt communication come out of our mouths.

Now, even though the bible teaches us how to conduct ourselves (even in speech), if a believer were to slip up and let that phrase come out, that would not be considered blasphemy, definitely not the unpardonable sin because the believer has already been sanctified in Christ Jesus and did not reject His Spirit, but received Christ. However, it does nothing for the building up (edification) of the body of Christ. For the non-believer, they probably could care less!

Roxie , hi , the answer is there for you if you keep reading , Mark Ch3 v 34&35 : For whosoever shall do the will of God , the same is my brother ,and my sister , and mother . As Christians we call each other brothers and sisters , we are a family in Christ , I'm sure that Jesus's biological family were faithful believers in the God of Israel so I don't believe that Jesus disowned them . Strictly speaking , as Christians we should associate with each other and be even nicer to each other than to our biological family who are atheists or of other faiths , we don't disown them , we can still love them and spend time with them but our brothers and sisters in Christ should , strictly speaking , mean more to us .

Larry Jacobs , hi , sin is disobedience to a command from God , some thing is not a sin until God says : don't do this , and then you do it , that is sin . Where there is law there is disobedience , where there are no laws there aren't any sins . We only know for sure what has been written and preserved for our benefit , other than that we may speculate but that's all .

The bible states that Adam is Cain's father my question was concerning other sins before Cain Slew Abel. Did the serpent have another form before he was cursed? Was the eating the forbidden fruit and Adam being deceitful toward the initial sins or were there other sins' committed by man prior to Cain slaying Abel?

whoso offereth PRAISE Glorifieth thee, and to Him that ordereth his conversation aright, will I show the salvation of GOD.

Indeed, all the tribes of the earth shall mourn at the coming of the KING.

Indeed, to be born again to see, is not being born of water and Spirit.

And indeed, the LORD has, is and will, enter in, whoever He chooses.

Indeed , ask and you shall be forgiven

Seek and you shall run to obtain

Knock and the Kingdom of GOD has come.

    Hi Debbie.

I believe it's the Lord that "Joins" you together so the two will be one.

Mark 10:9. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

The Certificate doesn't join you as one, The Lord Does.

So yes get married!! Be joined as one!!

There's Nothing special about a marriage certificate today when two of the same sex can get one. When the Lord doesn't Join them in marriage.

    God bless

Anne The reason is very interesting this is mentioned when in he was back in the area where he was raised in cana of galilee. In Mathew 13:54-58 we read where he went to where he was raised and because they knew the family he came out of He could not do many mighty works there because of unbelief. Many times Jesus Christ went up against people who didn't believe especially where he was raised. In luke 8:49-56 is total grace because he brought back the dead after being laughed at and had to get rid of the unbelief in the room. In luke chapter 4 beginning at verse 16 goes in teaches the word in nazareth where he had been brought up the people look at Him like who are you and how are you doing this. Verse 22 is not this the carpenters son, wrong He was the Son of God he reproves them then look at their reaction verse 28+29 not good. Verse 30 But he passing by went His way, he wasn't phased by their reaction. Prayerfully this answered your question God Bless
