    What day is the Sabbath?

Why do you worship on the First Day?

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

The Lord does not hear the wicked. The wicked speak with words smooth as butter but in their heart is WAR. There is no Repentance for Esau/Edomites.
  • Will - In Reply on Psalms 91:7 - 5 years ago
    George Washington was an Edomite.

George served the purpose he was created for. George enslaved hundreds of Israelites. being a Master Mason means nothing. The bible says Israel will be scattered because Israel disobeyed and now Israel must serve their enemies until this word is preached to all Israelites amongst the nations.

The Sons of God is another name given to the Chosen of The Most High, Israel. Israel is the only nation that the Lord Love.

Edom, ancient land bordering ancient Israel, in what is now southwestern Jordan, between the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba.

Sometimes you can put locations in Google and get an up to date location.

I strongly disagree. Iran is not Esau/Edomites. I'm curious about your answer. How did you come to this conclusion?

The Holy Spirit gifts you for ministry.

"There are different kinds of SPIRITUAL GIFTS, but the same Spirit is the source of them all.

There are different kinds of SERVICE, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.

    A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice;

to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge.

The same Spirit gives great faith to another,

and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing.

He gives one person the power to perform miracles,

and another the ability to prophesy.

He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit.

Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages,

while another is given the ability to interpret what is being said.

It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have," 1 Corinthians 12:4-11.

The Holy Spirit imparts to believers gifts that are needed in the Church. Nobody receives all gifts but they are distributed among the Body of Christ, each person receiving different gifts.

The gift(s) that you receive will empower you for the calling God has placed on your life. Embrace what God has put inside of you and be His instrument for Kingdom purpose!

Additional passages of the gifts of the Spirit can be found in Ephesians 4 and Romans 12. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach and equip you.

On Sunday we sang songs in a barn, maybe not a deluxe meal, but sufficient to make another week in hope without fear, in peace and love, in a calm resolve to continue in the Lord and to follow the Lamb in the Lamb's Holy way without the carnal weapons of the world because he is our righteousness!

The sermon Jesus gave on the mountain in Matthew chapter 5 begins with him pronouncing nine blessings known as the beatitudes. These refer to a state of happiness or bliss that only comes from submitting to God's will through Jesus Christ to express these particular character traits. Most of them are opposite the way the world thinks happiness is attained. In our own selves, we cannot really attain to them, but Jesus made the way when he died for our sins and rose from the dead, redeeming us to new everlasting life in himself.

Why dont people pray according to Jesus' directions? He says to pray the 'Our Father" but we pray specifically?

We are not yet in the great tribulation, but look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. ( Luke 21:28)

"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." ( 2 Timothy 3:1-7)

Remember Jesus' words: "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." ( John 16:33)

Your comment is oddly verbatim of a somewhat recent Donnie Swaggert tv sermon..
  • PRAY FOR NIGERIAN CHRISTIANS on 1 Samuel 3 - 5 years ago
Thank the Lord that we do not have to endure this kind of persecution in the USA.

We have really really seriously PRAY for these Christian people who live in a very bad place.

It shows us exactly how murderous the Antichrist will be in the less distant future here too.

Please don't tune it out. Somebody do a serious teaching on The Apostasy and the Falling Away. I believe it's starting to raise its head now.

    *****

How many more innocent Christians have to die before the world takes action?

A week ago we told you the number of Nigerian Christians murdered by Islamic radicals had tripled to more than 1,200. We warned you that the deadly violence wasn't showing signs of slowing down.

This week it's now closer to 1,300 Christian men, women, and children who have been targeted for death for their faith. It was just reported that Islamic extremists killed 33 more Christians in about 24 hours.

In a blitzkrieg attack, radical Islamic Fulani herdsmen in armored trucks and motorcycles stormed Christian villages, gunning down helpless victims and burning down homes.

These are not just isolated incidents. It's an epidemic of deadly violence. If the Nigerian government can't - or won't - do anything to stop the bloodshed, we have to.

The ACLJ has gone directly to the United Nations to urge international leaders to intervene. If we don't act soon, it will be too late. We are making an urgent submission to the U.N. in just THREE days, demanding action. (6-20-20)

We're fighting to SAVE CHRISTIANS and defend their right to worship freely without fear of violent persecution and death. We urgently need YOU.

Google ALCJ and go to petitions. Mishael

    What nation today is Esau/Edomites?
  • Brian - In Reply on Hebrews 1 - 5 years ago
    Milissa

you are absolutely correct, this is the day God commanded us to keep. God, Jesus said remember the sabbath day to keep it holy. Remember Millisa in Iasiah 8:16 how He told him to seal up His law. He also knew who his disciples were going to be. He had mentioned "my disciples". It is this day that He Himself ordained, sanctified, blessed, and hallowed. He Himself is currently doing this in heaven, because he rested from all of His work (creation). Hebrews 4 is very plain and distinct, of what God is telling us what and how to keep, His holy day, as our creator redeemer, and king, all at the same time.
