    TO T. Jones - 1 Chron. ch. 13 - God smote Uzza because he touched the ark. The ark was holy and under God's protection. He knew beforehand it would be 'atremble' and at that exact place. it was a test for anyone near the ark, to see if they would obey His instructions. God would have been right there to keep it from falling - and they all knew that. uza forgot: we are not to forget His teachings;

God is so Good! And Yes! by knowing Him is the best things happened in our life. We think about it that if Christ did not offer His life and His precious blood ''there is no SALVATION at all''. Imagine, God without us (people) still a God but WE without God is NOTHING.

How Lucky I 'am that I know Jesus as my PERSONAL SAVIOUR!

  • Word on Micah 1 - 10 years ago
Micah written at the same time as Isaiah. This prophet wrote to both houses, Israel and Judah. Israel scattered and make up the Christian Nations today and as you see that if you love Christ as a Nation you are blessed. When it speaks of the threatening of God it is speaking of what will happen to evil on earth, burned off. 7th trump. Those that waited for the true Christ are in good standing.

To Todd, et al: Don t become frustrated with understanding. I heard an old adage which I have experienced regularly since studying God s word and that is this, It s not the things I don t understand that bother me about the Bible, it s the things I do understand that worry me. Things that bother me because they are clear and distinct in God s word are the Bible s teaching on the depravity of man, our willfulness to sin, the wiles of the devil, the future of unbelievers and their eternal damnation including my friends and family , and my efforts in regard to sowing the seed of the gospel, etc. According to Psalm 1, we are blessed when we obey God s word in accordance with our relationships and we are delighted or receive light understanding when we consider God s word in regard to our actions. Before we make a decision about our relationships or interactions with others, especially unbelievers, the Psalmist encourages us to consider God s word. Of course, the impetus of the message is on God to fulfill it in our hearts and minds because verse six 6 claims the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous. Therefore, He helps us to understand what we need, when we need it as we meditate on His word. I thank God that His word does what it claims when we trust in Him.

I think it is the greatest chapter that represented my grand daughter who was tragically killed at the age of 7 1/2 years old and her classmates described her as Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God because that is who she trusted and believed in!

Bryan this book is for the end times. Written about, told about, sealed up for the end. The history might be but it is speaking to prepare us for what is coming.

We have many reasons why to love Jehovah God. As verse 16 brings out, he has given us our beautiful earthly home. He also provides food and other things we need in order to sustain our life. We should always remember to thank God for these things

When I read these words I am reminded of how much GOD loves me and cares for me and how blessed I am. Just imagine....GOD thinks about me, he considers me. GOD IS INCREDIBLE. My Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST laid down His life for me and, Praise GOD HE had the power to pick it up again. Thank you JESUS.
  • Michael on John 3 - 10 years ago
Verse 16 is a good reminder to us all of God's love for us all. Our heart overflows with love for Jehovah because he has made it possible for us to receive forgiveness of our sins if we are repentant and exercise faith in Jesus’ ransom sacrifice. What a loving God we have.

  • Brenda on Psalms 25 - 10 years ago
This Chapter fits perfectly at this present moment. I am asking the Lord for guidance and direction and for some reason, I am not hearing. I pray for his word on the things I have brought before Him just now. Some need a quick answer, others don't. I will trust He will answer and my expectation is from Him.
  • MockingBird on Psalms 25 - 10 years ago
I am always made to triumph in Christ : Mine enemy is already defeated in my life. I , by Faith in God's word will not allow my enemy to triumph over me. I Trust in His word to do what He said that He would do. Then I will not be ashamed.

I love to read and learn from the Scriptires.
If the people in Jesus' day, when He was among them, had received him as these first disciples accepted him, our world would be different today. The TRUTH will remain so no matter.how the enemy slices it.

  • Sonya on Philippians 1 - 10 years ago
I love reading Philippians. Apostle St.Paul, is so compassionate about every word he speaks. He speaks a lot about joy and peace. He stands strong in what he believes in. I love the fact the way He reminds us of the Laws; he explains the difference in the graces and the mercies. When reading Philippians I get more and more out of it each time!!! The verses are all so powerful to me!
  • Darlene Jackson on Numbers 5 - 10 years ago
Verse 20... Simply says, if the woman went out and have laid with another man, she shall drink the bitter water and her belly shall swell. Which gives the sign of an adultery wife. Therefore she will become a curse and many people would know what the women was found guilty of. Also if not guilty she will be free to go and conceive a child with her own husband.. However your sin will find you out.
  • JENELYN REFULGENTE on Psalms 25 - 10 years ago

  • Michael David Crawford on Psalms 44 - 10 years ago
In this Psalm, is like the Sermon on the mount, and the Lord's discourse at the Last Supper: that we are sent into the world as God's ambassadors; and our lives for signs and wonders, for instruction unto salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. What we bear up under because of the ungodly, is for the Father's purposes; but we know our end in Jesus from the beginning, no matter what men may do.
  • Ama on Psalms 25 - 10 years ago
the bible says we should not put our trust in man nor princes but in him, because he is a God who never fails. Surely he will not us be ashamed nor allow our enemies to rejoice over us, us we trust him.
