God always remembers his covenant. It's beautiful how God speaks that He will be their God and they will be His people.

  • Peter on Isaiah 53 - 10 years ago
this is the most precise and accurate account of the sufferings of Christ predicted some 600 years before Christ who came to give His life for us as pre-planned by God the father for our full and complete salvation. The embodiment of Christ of His mission, purpose and conclusion all in one for our full salvation.
  • Shelly on Proverbs 1 - 10 years ago
I think some of Proverbs was mistranslated. The part where it said spare not the rod and spoil the child. It should said say spare not the rod or method of correction or the child will be of no good. Some people misunderstand that. If you are a christian you will teach your child in the right manner. Some kids respond differently than others. That is why we have to be careful about the method.
  • Peter on Isaiah 51 - 10 years ago

  • Ben Weaver on Galatians 1 - 10 years ago
Verse 9: Let him be accursed??? In the Gr. dictionary, this Gr. word anathema; also used in 1 Cor.16:22, is presented as a compound word. Ana is defined as "thoroughly" and thema means "to lay a foundation of faith or doctrine." The word foundation in ch.3:11 is from the same Gr. root as our thema. Paul may have meant, "If anyone is wrong, thoroughly lay the foundation for new testament faith.
  • Ben Weaver on 1 Corinthians 11 - 10 years ago
Frequently misinterpreted passage! The Greek had no indication to a symbol, but simply stated, Because of the angels, (see Heb. 1:14) the woman ought to have power (jurisdiction, rule, or right) on/over her head. Rev. 2:26 uses the same two Gr. words as: "I will give him power over the nations." Our verses 2 thru 9 are referring to original lost creation, thereafter to being in the Lord. vs.11
  • Sonja on Exodus 3 - 10 years ago
It's amazing how God chose to use Moses even though he hadn't learned much about God,but obviously knew a little about Him. Thinking in himself that he could not do this great work that God was asking him to do. God sure knew what he could do through Him and through his obedience. How awesome is He!

  • Karl on Numbers 20 - 10 years ago
responds to Jane; Fearful of a jealous God? The LORD is wrathful but also forgiving to those of a contrite heart, true repentance is the lesson we must all learn. We much approach the LORD with humble reverence, some must first learn this through wrath. Do not fear The LORD, Jane, embrace his compassion as LORD Jesus taught. Hope this helps.

1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

  • Norm on Ephesians 5 - 10 years ago
Our heavenly Father, our LORD, our Savior Christ Jesus loves us so much! This is of the love of the truth received by His body of believers, His church. We must receive the love of His truth to be saved and not perish as taught in 2 Thessalonians Chp 2. Ephesians 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

This is one of my favorite psalm because of its encouraging content. It supports my heart through fear and encourages me that no matter how I feel, what I face, what is to come will never be a threat. It builds my relationship with my Lord even if a million stands against me they cannot come close to me....How great is our God!!!!!!

This Chapter is powerful it really pushes you to make sure you do not follow mans way and compare the difference between pharisees and sadduces in hopes of not being as they are hypocritical and evil. Also I am thankful for the keys of the Kingdom ,self denial and the fact that Christ is returning back to earth and will reward everyone according to their works. Witnessing more is what I will do

Continue: when you feel yourself breaking into tears and start feeling that you have giving your all to God then ask him If this is for us today..it will not hurt you to take the time cause you cannot kick against him and think it's alright cause it's best to be safe than sorry I beg of anyone to just try it before knocking it God can be alive in your soul it's not just a thought it's a promise.
  • Nene on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
I'm so sorry but I would like to who in their right mind will stand and argue about the scriptures before giving themselves a fair chance, all you have to do is go down on your knees and repent of all your wrong before God and just ask him if this is real he still talks to anyone that seeks him if you're being real trust me he will hear you so go in private and pray until u she'd tears. Blessing

This passage made me afraid of God and understand what he means by he is a jeolous God who does not share his glory.
  • Nb on Acts 2 - 10 years ago
The scripture itself makes it clear that the languages spoken were known languages spoken by some of people there from all the Jewish nations who gathered there for the feast of Pentecost. It was not some angelic language known only to God. There are many who truly believe they are speaking this heavenly language, but, sadly, they are in error. This was a sign gift for that period of time. The Holy Spirit comes in to dwell now when we accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We should seek to be filled with Him by obedience to His written Word, and love for one another.
