I have been reading the Bible since early 20's, now in early 60's. I was reading Isaiah today and something new presented to me... verse 1:14 kjv, through Isaiah God had been giving the people of Israel an overview of what their sinful ways look like from Gods view... and then He says in verse 14... "my SOUL hateth"... I had never viewed God as having a soul; somehow in my mind He has always been omnipresent and yet now I see it a bit clearer. I guess, why wouldn't he have a soul... if we are created in His image, right! I find this topic worth further thought. Any theological scholars out there who have any thoughts?

HEBREWS 11 - We are called Christians after ISAAC and not after "Jacob" - The Church as the BODY OF CHRIST on the Earth is THE ISRAEL OF GOD - Meaning that Christ Jesus has already fullfill THE WHOLE OLD COVENANT OF THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS ( MATTHEW 22:31-40, KJV, 1611), and that, IN THE FLESH, as our current predicament is, regarding our RETURNING King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ Messiah God Lord Savior and JUDGE, both "ISHMAEL" and "ISRAEL" in the flesh killing each other for land in the name of "biological genealogical lineage" sorely and immediately and eternally need EMMANUEL in other to escape from HELL! For, even genealogical biological lineage as THE SON OF MEN which Christ also already fulfilled - see MATTHEW 1 and Revelation - also complement JESUS' HEAVENLY LINEAGE AS THE RESURRECTED SON OF THE LIVING GOD (Holy Spirit conception in the womb of the Virgin Mary as prophesied thousands of years BEFORE Christ became flesh; for JESUS who was, is and is to come, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, is the only "Lion of Judah" and there is no other - "The scepter shall not depart from Judah" - CHRIST JESUS is the sole legitimate heir of "the throne of David" for Christ is pre-eminent in ALL things - Colossians 1-2; and hence why we are called after ISAAC - "Abraham believed God and it was reckoned to him as righteousness" -His faith and not his genealogical biological lineage was RIGHTEOUSNESS! Thus, "the words I have spoken to you are spirit and life, for life is in the spirit; the flesh is of no avail." "Ye err greatly in not knowing the scripture and the power of God. For "the things that are impossible with men are possible with God! REMEMBER: only 144,000 will be SAVED, which, spiritually, represents a definite number of "Israelites" who will receive Christ during the GREAT TRIBULATION, and whose name, ONLY GOD, already KNOWS! SO, our mandated CHRIST-COMMANDED COMMISSSION is to preach, teach, do THE TRUTH in love to ALL FLESH!*

50 years ago, I read, perhaps in the pseudepigrapha, because I cannot re-find it by keyword search: 'Adam or Michael is confronted by Satan who wishes to talk with him; Michael answers, he can only tarry for the briefest moment, because if longer, what he is will come upon him'. That is a paraphrase as best as I can recall.

Is there a scholar out there who may know this passage???

TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO FEEL SORRY FOR . I think this is funny and i hope you will too .As a child my husband was raised a catholic and went to catholic school ,when it was time for his and others confirmation ,the teacher who was a nun was going around the class asking all the children what confirmation name they had chosen ,my husband was listenig to the others shouting out names from the Bible and noticed one name was missing ,so he decided there and then to pick that name because he was sorry for this charcter ,when the nun asked him what his name was going to be he shouted out loudly ,thinking he was doing a nice thing for this forgotten person , judas miss ! Im guessing you can all picture the nuns face !

This chapter of Psalms tells us in verse 4, that "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me."

Putting this scripture in context and applying it to our walk and the issues of our day, why is it that no one, that I am aware of, in the Body of Christ has suggested the application of this verse when it comes to the coronavirus and how we should view and respond to it?
