In my last reply, which you made a reply to all, I mentioned one verse that Paul taught about the kingdom of God. We also see in Acts 19:8, Acts 20:25, Acts 28:23, Romans 14:17, 1 Corinthians 4:20, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:21, and Ephesians 5:5. I could list more.
As I mentioned earlier, I am not familiar with dispensationalism, a concept that didn't emerge until the 19th century. I also believe that the idea of the rapture of the Church isn't supported by Scripture. If you don't mind, what is the dispensationalist understanding of the kingdom of God? Is there no need for repentance and baptism? Will the Church be in heaven during the 1000 years?

2 Timothy 2:1 - Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
God's grace is sufficient. That's what God told Paul in 2 Corinthians Chapter 12 when he wanted the thorn in the flesh removed. God says my grace is sufficient for you. No matter what the situation, God's grace is sufficient. But it is through His grace that we receive our strength and power, not in ourselves.
In fact, the term be strong is one compound Greek word that means to be empowered. Be empowered in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 2:2 - And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Here's the deposit. The father deposits to the son all of his experience and all of his knowledge, and all of his wisdom. The son is then told to find faithful men to teach the same thing to them. It is important to emphasize the term faithful men. Not everyone is faithful in learning about the things of Christ and learning His word.
In 1 Corinthians 4:2, Paul says it must be found in a steward that they be faithful. That's the requirement of stewards. The requirement to serve and follow Christ is faithfulness. So, he says those things that you have heard from me, pass it on. But it must be to faithful men. You can take a group of people who want to learn the word, and you go along for a while, and there's great enthusiasm to begin with, but then after a while they start dropping out. It's important that we be faithful!
"Who shall be able to teach others also." Able is the Greek word for sufficiency. Teach people to the point that they will have the sufficiency to teach others also. It wasn't meant to be a program. This is what walking with Christ is all about. It's not just for me. It's not just for you. There are others around us who desire ministry, to learn from those who walk with Christ, to learn from those who study His word.
(2 Timothy Part 1): Written to Timothy who was pastoring in Ephesus and its territories because out of Ephesus went the missionary journeys. Timothy not only was pastor at Ephesus, but also several churches. We know at least the churches that are in the book of Revelation.
The Theme of 2 Timothy is Pastoral Instruction. Paul presents principles and instructions that should prevail in a local church. It is the principles and instructions for the ministry in the church in the last days. And that would include us.
2 Timothy 1:2 - To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
The term dearly beloved is one Greek word. It is the word AGAPETO, the adjective of AGAPE. He says my beloved son, and it's of faith of course. In 1 Corinthians 4:17, Paul says for this cause I sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. Timothy was like an extension of Paul. And he even introduced him as his son, and faithful in the Lord.
Here is some additional information I would like to share. Paul calls Timothy his son, not from a human standpoint, but from a spiritual standpoint. He is his son in the gospel. And we'll see from a Hebrew and Jewish standpoint how important that is when we get into Chapter 2, when he starts giving him instruction as his son, because your son is not just the person who has descended from you, but your son is the student who you're teaching.
Not only do Jewish fathers teach their sons, but also when Rabbi's had students (disciples), they were also called his children because they stayed with the Rabbi 24 hours a day. They lived with him. He taught them. And so, Paul is actually ministering to his son in the faith, but he calls himself the apostle of Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 3:2 - A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
I would like to spend a little bit of time here because I believe there's some very important teaching here concerning the qualifications of a bishop. And please keep in mind that this word for bishop (EPISKOPOS) is also interchangeable with elder and pastor.
But here is a very important technicality I want to share with you. It says in the text a bishop then must be, and then he starts his list. The word "must" is the word necessary. It is necessary. And then in the Greek text, it says (to be), not just be, but to be. That is what is called a Present Tense Infinitive. It means to presently exist with these qualities. It has nothing to do with the past, and obviously nothing to do with the future. It is right now presently that these are the qualities and the character of this person.
There are a couple of highlights here that people use, but it's not really a text about marriage and divorce, or relationships. This is all about character. This is all about faithfulness. If you are into marking in your bible, you might want to write off to the side 1 Corinthians 4:2. Paul says there is one requirement of those who are stewards, or ministers, and that is faithfulness. That's the only requirement. If you read that into each one of these qualities, you will see that Paul is saying that to be an overseer, a (man) must be faithful in all of these areas. There are 16 of them.

Being defamed, and that's the word blasphemed. Being blasphemed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day. The filth would be the garbage in a garbage can. The offscouring would be everything that's stuck to the inside that you scrape out or wash out that didn't come out when you emptied it. We're the garbage, and we're the leftover garbage that is stuck to the side of the pail of all things unto this day.
You don't hear too many Christians' presenting this as a resume for ones walk with the Lord. It's usually "Oh man, I've got all the gifts here. I can do whatever because God's made me great!" It's like God gets credit for everything, but it's making me great. But Paul is ministering here the contrast between himself and the reigningest kings.
1 Corinthians 4:16 - Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
It's important to understand the word followers. It's not the same word that Jesus used when He said follow after me. That's AKOLOUTHEO. This is the word MIMETAI. It's where we get our word mimic or mime from in English. Back in the days of Paul, a person coming out to perform a mime would be someone who would have a costume on. It might even be a one-person act where they would just go back and change different masks. But the person would come out and they would act out a message or a story without words.
When Paul is using it in this way, what he's saying is that without the human, as you see the expression of Christ in me, let this be the expression of Christ in you. It doesn't mean let me take you as a human being and you come and follow me and just do whatever I do. There are people that have seminars and camps that do that. Paul purposely used MIMETAI to say I don't mean follow "me," but follow the expression through me.
1 Corinthians 3:19 - For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness. That's the word MORIA. It's where we get our word Moron from. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness. So, he quotes from Job 5:13, that the person of the world who thinks he's so wise, and God lets him get caught in his own trap.

Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and that's a very special Greek word. It's not the word DULOS for slave. It's the word for under-rower, the lowest of all slaves. By under-rower, I mean these are the ones that are down below in the bottom of the ships, and they're rowing the large boats across the water. He's not using the word DULOS. He says we are under-rowers. We are the slave of slaves. In essence, don't think of us as anything in the human as important.
But we are ministers of Christ, and stewards. This is where we get our word economy from, and it has to do with administration. We are under-rowers of Christ, and we are administrators of the mysteries of God. That's the position of somebody that is called to ministry. In the human, he or she is not important other than the only importance being what Christ does in and through them.
1 Corinthians 4:9 - For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
The word spectacle in the Greek is THEATRON and is where we get our word theater from. He says we're like the world's just watching us like they're watching a movie down at the movie theater. We're a spectacle.

should the words "do not pronounce judgment before the time" keep us from identifying false teachers or from naming them?
I don't think so. "Don't pronounce judgment before the time" means "Don't do what only Christ can do at that last day - on the day of judgment." Don't presume to know the heart like Jesus will know the heart on that day. Only Christ "will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart."
But for now, our job is indeed to do mouth judgment, writing judgment, behavior judgment - not a heart judgment, but mouth and writing and behavior judgment. When a mouth speaks unbiblical, destructive teaching, when a blog or an article or a book publishes unbiblical and destructive teaching, when a body - a human body, a physical body - behaves with unbiblical and destructive behavior, in all these cases, we are to be discerning.
And according to Ephesians 5:11 we are to expose the error. "Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them." "Censure them; show them to be wrong" is what the word elegch means.
When the Spirit dwells in an individual in our current Dispensation a foreign righteousness enters our world. He uses the most subtle means and is often quite gentle; but make no mistake. He's not there to do anything less than cause the death of our old nature and all the desires of the flesh. How willingly we submit will determine our spiritual rewards or lack thereof; and could even shorten our life if we aren't careful ( 1 Cor. 11:30). I HIGHLY recommend new believers to examine Paul's writings to the Corinthians after gaining a basic understanding of the Gospels. There is much to learn there about maturity; church discipline and many common problems still relevant today involving cultural surroundings and the affect on those who are new creatures in Christ. 1 Corinthians 4:21 gives the question if Paul would be preferred to come with a "rod of discipline" and this can be applied to the Lord Himself chastising us as we grow in faith. He is the "Captain" of the ship and therefore of our souls ( Heb. 2:10).
The mystery of God involves how God can dwell with man; the infinite with finite flesh ( 1 Cor. 3:16-17). As long as we are on earth; this paradox of foreign righteousness contends with the flesh and we are torn between the two. Christ; then IS our righteousness ( 1 Cor. 1:30) but the source comes from without. We die daily ( 1 Cor. 15:31) as we are transformed by the renewing of our mind ( Romans 12:2).
The church was built with the plan for the Body to be "fitted together" ( 1 Cor. 12:18 and also Ephesians 4:16). Once we get past the melee which was the state of the Corinthians as a "motley crew" that had to be disciplined we are in theory to build one another up. That involves the strong in faith teaching the weak ( Titus 2:4-6) (and apparently 84 other verses in scripture specifically relating to women in that role!) as well as exhortation; rebuke; and reproving ( 2 Tim. 4:2); as well as sympathy ( Rom. 12:15)

All the migratory birds we have here in the Nordics left the site yesterday Saturday. We praise the Lord and thank Him for everything we have, every day is like a symphony to Him. And of course there are some who are always awake and alert for what is to come. They pray for everyone, they hunger for people to come to faith, they rejoice with those who are happy. They weep with those who are sorrowful. They pray for those who are sick. Paul writes it so nicely in 1 Corinthians 4:8-13 Now ye are full!

1 Corinthians 4:5 speaks volume to us since saints understand the mysteries revealed to the faithful and Romans 1:6 & Romans 8:28. For saints know Isaiah 5:20. We are where we are today. God is so great to allow us to do things in life in our own free will where in the end The Glory belongs to God. God allowed me to have worked with great scientists in America with great heart. I do not need to understand and question everything at the spare of the moment. I just know the paths God lead me in was not to question authorities in the land. God has the heavenly plans and those are what I am and every saint must be very excited about. When you walk in the Spirit of God, you are like in a trance. Paul wrote two letters to Timothy who was pastoring the church in Ephesus. Timothy's name is mentioned 24 times in the New Testament. Timothy was from Lystra and he was saved during Paul's first missionary journey ( Acts 14:19-20; Acts 16:1-2)
His mother Eunice, and his grandmother Lois, were godly Jewish women. In fact, Timothy was taught the Old Testament scriptures since he was a little boy. So he has a scriptural background. Timothy was about 15-years-old when he first met Paul. And when Paul writes his letter to Timothy, he's approximately 35. So he has spent approximately 20 years with Paul in ministry learning.
Even though Timothy's mother and grandmother were godly Jewish women, his father was a pagan Greek. ( Acts 16:1; 2 Timothy 1:5). Timothy was raised hearing Old Testament Scriptures. ( 2 Timothy 3:14-15). He joined Paul, along with Silas and Luke, during second missionary trip. ( Acts 16:3).
Paul had Timothy circumcised so that he might have the freedom to preach the gospel in Jewish synagogues. ( Acts 16:3; 1 Corinthians 9:20). He could not do that unless he was circumcised. Timothy was ordained by Paul and the Presbytery. ( 1 Timothy 4:14; 2 Timothy 1:6). He accompanies Paul on his third missionary trip. ( Acts 19:22; Acts 20:4; 2 Corinthians 1:1, 1:19).
Timothy ministered in at least five churches as Paul's representative:
Timothy was with Paul during Paul's first imprisonment ( Philippians 1:1; Colossians 1:1; Philemon 1:1) and went to Philippi after Paul's release. ( Philippians 2:19-23). Timothy was around 35-years of age when Paul wrote I Timothy. Timothy also suffered imprisonment. ( Hebrews 13:23).

My answer would be no to go along with what I already said. We are hidden in Christ and presented perfect by the blood of Christ and his righteousness is imputed unto us. But our walk in these bodies will never be perfect but the work by the spirit will lead us in that direction as we grow.
Our sins are within, even in our thoughts. 1 Corinthians 4:5. Hebrews 4:12.
In my last reply, which you made a reply to all, I mentioned one verse that Paul taught about the kingdom of God. We also see in Acts 19:8, Acts 20:25, Acts 28:23, Romans 14:17, 1 Corinthians 4:20, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:21, and Ephesians 5:5. I could list more.
As I mentioned earlier, I am not familiar with dispensationalism, a concept that didn't emerge until the 19th century. I also believe that the idea of the rapture of the Church isn't supported by Scripture. If you don't mind, what is the dispensationalist understanding of the kingdom of God? Is there no need for repentance and baptism? Will the Church be in heaven during the 1000 years?

2 Timothy 2:1 - Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
God's grace is sufficient. That's what God told Paul in 2 Corinthians Chapter 12 when he wanted the thorn in the flesh removed. God says my grace is sufficient for you. No matter what the situation, God's grace is sufficient. But it is through His grace that we receive our strength and power, not in ourselves.
In fact, the term be strong is one compound Greek word that means to be empowered. Be empowered in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 2:2 - And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
Here's the deposit. The father deposits to the son all of his experience and all of his knowledge, and all of his wisdom. The son is then told to find faithful men to teach the same thing to them. It is important to emphasize the term faithful men. Not everyone is faithful in learning about the things of Christ and learning His word.
In 1 Corinthians 4:2, Paul says it must be found in a steward that they be faithful. That's the requirement of stewards. The requirement to serve and follow Christ is faithfulness. So, he says those things that you have heard from me, pass it on. But it must be to faithful men. You can take a group of people who want to learn the word, and you go along for a while, and there's great enthusiasm to begin with, but then after a while they start dropping out. It's important that we be faithful!
"Who shall be able to teach others also." Able is the Greek word for sufficiency. Teach people to the point that they will have the sufficiency to teach others also. It wasn't meant to be a program. This is what walking with Christ is all about. It's not just for me. It's not just for you. There are others around us who desire ministry, to learn from those who walk with Christ, to learn from those who study His word.
(2 Timothy Part 1): Written to Timothy who was pastoring in Ephesus and its territories because out of Ephesus went the missionary journeys. Timothy not only was pastor at Ephesus, but also several churches. We know at least the churches that are in the book of Revelation.
The Theme of 2 Timothy is Pastoral Instruction. Paul presents principles and instructions that should prevail in a local church. It is the principles and instructions for the ministry in the church in the last days. And that would include us.
2 Timothy 1:2 - To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
The term dearly beloved is one Greek word. It is the word AGAPETO, the adjective of AGAPE. He says my beloved son, and it's of faith of course. In 1 Corinthians 4:17, Paul says for this cause I sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church. Timothy was like an extension of Paul. And he even introduced him as his son, and faithful in the Lord.
Here is some additional information I would like to share. Paul calls Timothy his son, not from a human standpoint, but from a spiritual standpoint. He is his son in the gospel. And we'll see from a Hebrew and Jewish standpoint how important that is when we get into Chapter 2, when he starts giving him instruction as his son, because your son is not just the person who has descended from you, but your son is the student who you're teaching.
Not only do Jewish fathers teach their sons, but also when Rabbi's had students (disciples), they were also called his children because they stayed with the Rabbi 24 hours a day. They lived with him. He taught them. And so, Paul is actually ministering to his son in the faith, but he calls himself the apostle of Jesus Christ.
1 Timothy 3:2 - A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
I would like to spend a little bit of time here because I believe there's some very important teaching here concerning the qualifications of a bishop. And please keep in mind that this word for bishop (EPISKOPOS) is also interchangeable with elder and pastor.
But here is a very important technicality I want to share with you. It says in the text a bishop then must be, and then he starts his list. The word "must" is the word necessary. It is necessary. And then in the Greek text, it says (to be), not just be, but to be. That is what is called a Present Tense Infinitive. It means to presently exist with these qualities. It has nothing to do with the past, and obviously nothing to do with the future. It is right now presently that these are the qualities and the character of this person.
There are a couple of highlights here that people use, but it's not really a text about marriage and divorce, or relationships. This is all about character. This is all about faithfulness. If you are into marking in your bible, you might want to write off to the side 1 Corinthians 4:2. Paul says there is one requirement of those who are stewards, or ministers, and that is faithfulness. That's the only requirement. If you read that into each one of these qualities, you will see that Paul is saying that to be an overseer, a (man) must be faithful in all of these areas. There are 16 of them.

The filth would be the garbage in a garbage can. The offscouring would be everything that's stuck to the inside that you scrape out or wash out that didn't come out when you emptied it. We're the garbage, and we're the leftover garbage that is stuck to the side of the pail of all things unto this day.
You don't hear too many Christians' presenting this as a resume for ones walk with the Lord. It's usually "Oh man, I've got all the gifts here. I can do whatever because God's made me great!" It's like God gets credit for everything, but it's making me great. But Paul is ministering here the contrast between himself and the reigningest kings.
1 Corinthians 4:16 - Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
It's important to understand the word followers. It's not the same word that Jesus used when He said follow after me. That's AKOLOUTHEO. This is the word MIMETAI. It's where we get our word mimic or mime from in English. Back in the days of Paul, a person coming out to perform a mime would be someone who would have a costume on. It might even be a one-person act where they would just go back and change different masks. But the person would come out and they would act out a message or a story without words.
When Paul is using it in this way, what he's saying is that without the human, as you see the expression of Christ in me, let this be the expression of Christ in you. It doesn't mean let me take you as a human being and you come and follow me and just do whatever I do. There are people that have seminars and camps that do that. Paul purposely used MIMETAI to say I don't mean follow "me," but follow the expression through me.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness. That's the word MORIA. It's where we get our word Moron from. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness. So, he quotes from Job 5:13, that the person of the world who thinks he's so wise, and God lets him get caught in his own trap.

Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and that's a very special Greek word. It's not the word DULOS for slave. It's the word for under-rower, the lowest of all slaves. By under-rower, I mean these are the ones that are down below in the bottom of the ships, and they're rowing the large boats across the water. He's not using the word DULOS. He says we are under-rowers. We are the slave of slaves. In essence, don't think of us as anything in the human as important.
But we are ministers of Christ, and stewards. This is where we get our word economy from, and it has to do with administration. We are under-rowers of Christ, and we are administrators of the mysteries of God. That's the position of somebody that is called to ministry. In the human, he or she is not important other than the only importance being what Christ does in and through them.
1 Corinthians 4:9 - For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
The word spectacle in the Greek is THEATRON and is where we get our word theater from. He says we're like the world's just watching us like they're watching a movie down at the movie theater. We're a spectacle.
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

should the words "do not pronounce judgment before the time" keep us from identifying false teachers or from naming them?
I don't think so. "Don't pronounce judgment before the time" means "Don't do what only Christ can do at that last day - on the day of judgment." Don't presume to know the heart like Jesus will know the heart on that day. Only Christ "will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart."
But for now, our job is indeed to do mouth judgment, writing judgment, behavior judgment - not a heart judgment, but mouth and writing and behavior judgment. When a mouth speaks unbiblical, destructive teaching, when a blog or an article or a book publishes unbiblical and destructive teaching, when a body - a human body, a physical body - behaves with unbiblical and destructive behavior, in all these cases, we are to be discerning.
And according to Ephesians 5:11 we are to expose the error. "Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them." "Censure them; show them to be wrong" is what the word elegch means.

When the Spirit dwells in an individual in our current Dispensation a foreign righteousness enters our world. He uses the most subtle means and is often quite gentle; but make no mistake. He's not there to do anything less than cause the death of our old nature and all the desires of the flesh. How willingly we submit will determine our spiritual rewards or lack thereof; and could even shorten our life if we aren't careful ( 1 Cor. 11:30). I HIGHLY recommend new believers to examine Paul's writings to the Corinthians after gaining a basic understanding of the Gospels. There is much to learn there about maturity; church discipline and many common problems still relevant today involving cultural surroundings and the affect on those who are new creatures in Christ. 1 Corinthians 4:21 gives the question if Paul would be preferred to come with a "rod of discipline" and this can be applied to the Lord Himself chastising us as we grow in faith. He is the "Captain" of the ship and therefore of our souls ( Heb. 2:10).
The mystery of God involves how God can dwell with man; the infinite with finite flesh ( 1 Cor. 3:16-17). As long as we are on earth; this paradox of foreign righteousness contends with the flesh and we are torn between the two. Christ; then IS our righteousness ( 1 Cor. 1:30) but the source comes from without. We die daily ( 1 Cor. 15:31) as we are transformed by the renewing of our mind ( Romans 12:2).
The church was built with the plan for the Body to be "fitted together" ( 1 Cor. 12:18 and also Ephesians 4:16). Once we get past the melee which was the state of the Corinthians as a "motley crew" that had to be disciplined we are in theory to build one another up. That involves the strong in faith teaching the weak ( Titus 2:4-6) (and apparently 84 other verses in scripture specifically relating to women in that role!) as well as exhortation; rebuke; and reproving ( 2 Tim. 4:2); as well as sympathy ( Rom. 12:15)
And of course there are some who are always awake and alert for what is to come. They pray for everyone, they hunger for people to come to faith, they rejoice with those who are happy. They weep with those who are sorrowful. They pray for those who are sick. Paul writes it so nicely in 1 Corinthians 4:8-13 Now ye are full!
Praise be to the Lord He who can calm the sea, so can He also create the storm! We know the autumn storms, how the houses shake and crash. Where things fly through the air. Or a piece of paper flies towards the window where the rain is lashing the pane. If we see these storms and wait them out. This is also how the daily lives of Christians are. 1 Corinthians 4:5 speaks volume to us since saints understand the mysteries revealed to the faithful and Romans 1:6 & Romans 8:28. For saints know Isaiah 5:20. We are where we are today. God is so great to allow us to do things in life in our own free will where in the end The Glory belongs to God. God allowed me to have worked with great scientists in America with great heart. I do not need to understand and question everything at the spare of the moment. I just know the paths God lead me in was not to question authorities in the land. God has the heavenly plans and those are what I am and every saint must be very excited about. When you walk in the Spirit of God, you are like in a trance. Next thing you know someone tells you on earth job well done. Not to boast but again and again to Glorify God because He helped you to do job well done. I can control only me and hopefully have a strong influence with my family and friends and anybody that touches my life to follow God as I walk the walk and talk the talk. Even 1 Timothy 5:4 saints take it to heart. All is good with God James 1:17 and all are Your's 1 Corinthians 3:21-23. I know It is easy said and done here on earth. We all have afflictions and to some unbearable 2 Corinthians 6:4. Paul wrote two letters to Timothy who was pastoring the church in Ephesus. Timothy's name is mentioned 24 times in the New Testament. Timothy was from Lystra and he was saved during Paul's first missionary journey ( Acts 14:19-20; Acts 16:1-2)
His mother Eunice, and his grandmother Lois, were godly Jewish women. In fact, Timothy was taught the Old Testament scriptures since he was a little boy. So he has a scriptural background. Timothy was about 15-years-old when he first met Paul. And when Paul writes his letter to Timothy, he's approximately 35. So he has spent approximately 20 years with Paul in ministry learning.
Even though Timothy's mother and grandmother were godly Jewish women, his father was a pagan Greek. ( Acts 16:1; 2 Timothy 1:5). Timothy was raised hearing Old Testament Scriptures. ( 2 Timothy 3:14-15). He joined Paul, along with Silas and Luke, during second missionary trip. ( Acts 16:3).
Paul had Timothy circumcised so that he might have the freedom to preach the gospel in Jewish synagogues. ( Acts 16:3; 1 Corinthians 9:20). He could not do that unless he was circumcised. Timothy was ordained by Paul and the Presbytery. ( 1 Timothy 4:14; 2 Timothy 1:6). He accompanies Paul on his third missionary trip. ( Acts 19:22; Acts 20:4; 2 Corinthians 1:1, 1:19).
Timothy ministered in at least five churches as Paul's representative:
1) Thessalonica ( 1 Thessalonians 3:2, 3:6)
2) Corinth ( 1 Corinthians 4:17; 16:10; 2 Corinthians 1:19)
3) Philippi ( Philippians 2:19-23)
4) Berea ( Acts 17:14)
5) Ephesus ( 1 Timothy 1:3)
Timothy was with Paul during Paul's first imprisonment ( Philippians 1:1; Colossians 1:1; Philemon 1:1) and went to Philippi after Paul's release. ( Philippians 2:19-23). Timothy was around 35-years of age when Paul wrote I Timothy. Timothy also suffered imprisonment. ( Hebrews 13:23).

I just noticed I sent my earlier reply incomplete.
My answer would be no to go along with what I already said. We are hidden in Christ and presented perfect by the blood of Christ and his righteousness is imputed unto us. But our walk in these bodies will never be perfect but the work by the spirit will lead us in that direction as we grow.
Our sins are within, even in our thoughts. 1 Corinthians 4:5. Hebrews 4:12.
