So, are you 100% sure that repenting is a 'false doctrine'?

    Acts 2:38 - repent

    Luke 13:3 - repent

    Acts 3:19 - repent

    1 John 1:9 - confess

There's even a page showing a whole list of verses on repenting:

    Link

So, how do you reconcile what you're claiming with these verses that clearly say to repent and confess?

The Bible already predicted someone would assume what you did and already answered it:
James 2:19 - believing isn't enough. Even satan and demons believe. Do you think satan and demons will be in heaven? Most will go to hell as scripture says, even Christians. Many will cry out Lord, Lord and will be shocked they won't make it, because of how self righteous and justified they feel.

    God bless.

Hi Richard, I wonder whether you're referring to Exodus 4:10,11. These verses do seem to imply that God specifically creates some (in the womb) to have defective organs or other impediments. He is after all the Creator of all people & things & so has the right to do as He pleases. However, the question: why would God then create a new life with such physical or mental problems? Is it simply sufficient to say that 'He has every right to do so?"

Apart from the above, I see two other aspects to this dilemma: we are all born in corrupt sinful flesh. Even though an embryo cannot be classed as one having committed any sin, its very state, being formed out of the seed of sinful man & woman, already consigns it to an existence (whether in the womb or outside), into a sinful state. And secondly, the Ways & Plans of God are unknown to us. We don't know how God uses such people so afflicted in various ways; whether to glorify Him, to lead them to Himself, or to touch other lives through their infirmity. We usually see the suffering of the one afflicted & ask 'why has God allowed this to happen'?, yet we remain ignorant to the Purposes of God in doing so & for the one afflicted to still return praises to Him in spite of it all.

Here in Exodus chapter 4, we see Moses with a speech impediment; in John 9:1-3 (a man born blind); Mark 7:31-34 (deaf man & with a speech impediment); Acts 3:1-3 (lame man) are a few examples. Then we have babies born with disabilities from no fault of the parents, or maybe because of something ingested by the mother (e.g. Thalidomide when taken during pregnancy for anxiety & morning sickness). All these are the results from what we are as humans or what God has allowed for His Own reasons. What is more important is how we accept our lot in life, how we can be useful to others in some way, & whether through it we are reminded of our own weaknesses & sins & therefore run to the Saviour for spiritual healing & hope, & strength to live through each day.

I've been healed many times. At salvation I was healed of drugs plus alcohol abuse. I was suicidal and involved in actual astrological chart readings. I didn't know Jesus and didn't know I was serving Satan. The moment I reached to take hold of an invisible hand, I was sure (had faith) a Hand was extended to me; I was born again, delivered spiritually and physically. I didn't experience detox and I woke up the next day filled with the Holy Spirit who impressed on me to rid my house of all cursed occult items which I burned the next day. I hadn't read Acts 19:19 yet.

Every time I prayed for healing and received it by faith, it was done: migraines, arm wrenched out of range. I asked for $3,249.76 to move out of state, and I got that exact amount of money!!

You believe what Jesus says. We are not of this world. Ask the Father, in Jesus name; then receive it. Don't ask selfishly. Ask in faith. Stand on scripture. Jesus is the same today, tomorrow and forever. Fear not.

    Mark Chapter 16

15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth NOT shall be damned.

    17 And THESE SIGNS shall follow them that BELIEVE; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

18 They shall take up serpents (like COVID), and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall LAY HANDS ON THE SICK and they shall recover.

    Isaiah 26:3

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

    Luke 13:11; John 5:5; Acts 10:38; Acts 3:2;

    Acts 4:9

Did Job trust God? Did everybody who knew Job or didn't know him; some accused him of sin, small faith; his wife told him to curse God and die; then at length God revealed His true majesty and wisdom to Job.

Touch God with praise, worship and your faith. He wants you to touch him. Read those scriptures.

    Thanks Earl!.

That Made me think of "The Restitution of all things""

    Acts 3:18-21.

But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

    Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:

Whom the heaven must receive until the times of RESTITUTION OF ALL THINGS, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

It's Interesting I think the Kinsman Redeemer is also the revenger of blood also.

But as a Interesting side note,

There's three places sought out to find a ""Man"" that was Worthy to Redeem what some Scholars call the title deed of the Earth, "Seal Book written on both sides"

( Here we are in Revelation ch 5 and the tribulation have not even started and we see ""Man"" Sought out IN HEAVEN!! Not only that suggest we'll go to Heaven but also it seems like the RAPTURE has already taken place!!!)

Revelation 5:3. AND NO MAN IN HEAVEN, NOR IN EARTH, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

    Hello Gary,

I understand your question of "charity" in place of "love". Which I believe we all today know the word "love" better than "charity". Why they chose to use that word several hundred years ago I don't know. Maybe more common then as today it means more of giving money. Stated as "giving alms" then. Love and charity is the same Greek word "agape" in the Greek texts. Meaning "brotherly love, affection, good will, love." It is translated 26 times as "charity" and 85 times as "love".

The NKJV is better than most other versions printed. There are still differences from the original KJV that I don't like. I know there are some things that are easier to read as what you just noted. In two instances in Acts 3:13 and verse 26. Instead of saying "His Son Jesus"(God's Son) it states "His Servant Jesus". In 1 Corinthians 1:18. it states "to us who are BEING saved" from "unto us which ARE saved".

Of coarse these are very subtle changes as there are more. Even as I was lead to Jesus Christ by reading another version of the Holy Bible. The KJV is the best and most accurate though.

To bring up one thing I came across just the other night. I was going over the Wycliff Bible which was written/translated in 1382. If someone thinks the 1611 KJV is hard to read, this version is almost like another language in how early and different the English language was. Most of it, that I went over, is pretty accurate next to the KJV. I came across one word, in one verse, that is very important that differed from the KJV. Knowing that the Wycliff Bible was translated from the Latin Vulgate, and not the Greek texts, I looked up the Vulgate. Copying and translating the verse it actually came out to what the KJV stated. This was very comforting knowing that just this one word was accurate in the KJV to the Vulgate which was written in the year 382AD.

Sorry about all that extra stuff. I just thought I would use this post to bring this up to you and others.

    God Bless.

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

    ( Romans 6:15-23

    ( James 2:14-20

    ( 1 Peter 4:16-19

( 2 Peter 2:20-22 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

In the beginning God created heaven and the earth.

2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

5And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

6And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

7And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

8And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second days.

9And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

10And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

11And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

13And the evening and the morning were the third days.

14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night, and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

15And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

16And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

17And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

18And to rule over the d

    Reply to Rod:

Using the Search Box on this website; type in the words, Trinity or Triune. Those 2 words ARE NOT in the King James Bible. Cover to cover.

If you type GODHEAD, you'll see 3 scriptures be fetched by the search engine. Read these.

    Acts 17:32

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

Comment: people will buy paintings of the Godhead and decorate their walls.

    Romans 1:20

For the invisible things of HIM from the creation of the world are CLEARLY SEEN, being understood by the things that are made (us), even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

    Colossians 2:9

For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead BODILY.

Comments by me. Genesis 1:1 is clearly understood. God Wills; Jesus (The Word) speaks; the Holy Spirit performs. "Time. Force. Action. Matter". Four things all scientists have tried to explain throughout time. Earth is the only planet that has water.

Christians have the mind of Christ. We're all enabled to see the Godhead at work; on earth and in our lives. How? The Holy Spirit indwells us in our born again spirits and teaches us the Word of God. Seek and you will find.

If we can just read the Bible and accept what is written in it; believe, apply to our lives; and like little children do: believe what God says about Himself. If you doubt or debate, you're in a ditch. Your faith is a shipwreck.

God is on the Throne. Jesus sits at the right hand of God, making intercession for The Saints of God. That's us. The Holy Spirit is present on Earth, PERFORMING what is in the mind of Jesus Christ.

How hard is that to understand? The Godhead works together every moment. A Bible ENCYCLOPEDIA shows all of the Holy Spirits names. There are many. Learn all of them. Praise and worship that He is at work in your life. Do not grieve or quench the Holy Spirit.

Amen to your comments! False doctrines everywhere, if it don't line up with the Word of God, it is false! The Word of God plainly states that when the last trumpet sounds the dead in Christ shall rise first; you can not rise up if you are already up there. If people would believe Gods Word, and live it just the way he tells us to, instead of adding or subtracting from it to fit their way of life; we would see a lot more bright light instead of just sparks in this dark world. God Bless!

If you reject commentators' understanding of Matthew 11:16,17, how do you then understand those verses?

I generally accept a comment, if made by one well studied in the Scriptures & who gives it a good support/defence, but leave the matter open till the Spirit reveals otherwise. So what I'm saying is, let's not discount all commentaries as I believe many of them have much to teach us as well, that will help us in understanding the Bible better. Otherwise, one should refuse to attend a Fellowship as the preacher offers a verbal commentary to us.

I hear the sweetness of Jesus in your words. It is always ok to ask Jesus for more: more light, a deeper understanding, a window into His heart to see the love He has for all people.

To be a part of His body; in the body of Christ: his hands, his feet, his ear to hear the cries of people in need or lost in spiritual darkness. There's a song I sing: ' Lord make me an Instrument'. It's on YouTube.

Jesus was not Begotten by any earthly father. The begotten are whom born through normal biological relationship with their father and mother. Jesus was conceived by Holy Spirit in the Mary's womb. Joseph never knew Mary.

I read commentaries sometimes. There is a Commentary Search link on this website.

Lots of Bible students use it. We use Bible Dictionary, Concordance, History, Multiple Commentaries, and other "helps".

A serious student uses what is available. If you street evangelize, you have need of being enabled to give an answer for what you believe; along with a huge amount of Grace and Mercy.

The more we know, is a pool of Living Water the Holy Spirit has, to draw the lost to the Savior of their souls. Like the woman who met Jesus at the well. She ran to her neighborhood and told them, "COME SEE A MAN!! Who told me all of my life history." The entire community was saved, as a result. That is remarkable and worth remembering.

    Apologies. Mishael

    Hello Gary,

I'm sure what Mishael was stating is only that Jesus was not "conceived" by a human father or man. The Holy Ghost conceived Mary and He was born of a virgin. God in Heaven was His only real Father. Joseph the Carpenter was His earthy "dad" as I'm sure Mishael knows.

I think that's why some Bibles call the Gospels, the Harmony of the Gospels.

Twelve disciples witnessed the same events, but some differ because of age, occupations they had been in, experiences. The Books were written at different times. Yet, they harmonize with each other. Amazing!

Jesus knew Judas would betray Him. There is a prophesy in Psalms that was fulfilled when Judas did it.

You can Google up charts of all the prophesies in the Old Testament, and on the New Testament; that Jesus would fulfill in his life. The odds of that happening is more than all the stars in our universe! One life achieved all of that. How anyone can deny that, is without an excuse on the day of Judgment.

The charts show the prophesy scriptures, and on the same line, the scripture where Jesus fulfilled it.

You'll want to save those in your bookmarks or read list on your Google page.

Proverbs is a Book of wisdom in many areas of life, for both sexes. Proverbs 31 describes a godly woman. The Book of Ruth and the Book of Esther, again, women we can learn from.

Genesis 24 is a great book for those in search for a mate.

I Corinthians chapters 5 through 7: sometimes called the marriage chapters by some. It covers sexual impurity also.

I asked my son in his teens, do you want to marry a virgin, or a girl who was "experienced"?

He didn't ponder long, he said a virgin!

I'll tell the story a female teacher said once at church. It was about why God covered the woman inside with a hymen. It was a proof of virginity, but it also serves a purpose: It protects against diseases. You're not going to get STD's if you're saving yourself for marriage.

Our culture teaches the exact opposite. They try to force kids to choose gay, straight or in between in grade school. You can choose Jesus. That takes a lot of courage and inner strength.

A good marriage candidate (a man) is going to honor her choice to wait, and will protect his virgin.

That was my take on the story in Genesis 24. If only the Church would teach that. You read it and tell me what you think about it. I'm kinda old lol

Googling that question is a rabbit path. Skip Wikipedia on that.

One of Jesus's brothers was named James. Another one named Jude, wrote the Book of Jude.

Jesus did not have an earthly dad. The Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and she (being a Virgin: before, during and after; conceived Jesus (he called himself the Son of Man)

The Zebedee brothers, John and James, became disciples.
