Psalms chapter 91
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
conclusion: no trust whatsoever in mortal medicines
We have the Old Testament references to God's choosing Israel: Isaiah 42:1; Isaiah 45:4; Isaiah 65:9; Matthew 24:22 (Matthew is still OT in this respect). Israel wasn't a nation at the time of God's choosing nor did its forefathers deserve anything for God choosing them, but that He wanted a "special people, to set His Love upon them, & to keep His Oath made to their forefathers" ( Deuteronomy 7:6-8).
In the New Testament (post Cross), the Apostle Paul speaks of God's Elect as being from both Israel & the Gentiles: under "the election of Grace" (Romans chapter 11) and Colossians 3:12; 1 Peter 1:2.
So we understand from Scripture, that God chooses whomever He desires to be His very Own. Yet, after the advent of Jesus Christ & His Sacrifice for all (Jew & Gentile), God's choosing is based on the Cross & yet the remnant of disbelieving Israel will still figure at the end times.
Then maybe your question is in respect of how that Divine Election affects sinful mankind now: are some forever lost without hope, or are some dragged kicking & screaming into the Kingdom, none having any choice because of Divine Election? To answer this, God's choosing of those to be saved is entirely because of His Determination & His Plans. Since we know that God is an Omniscient God (He knows all things from eternity to eternity), His Plans must include those who come into the world, the life path they take, their hearing of the Gospel & their response to it.
Acts 13:48: "And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed." "Ordained to eternal life". This is election, showing that God, Who had appointed some to eternal life, followed through with believing on His Son. In other words, whom God chooses will be saved - those who refuse His Son are not part of the elect or chosen of God.
Long story short the vaccine came out way too quickly plus I hear talk of altering DNA. That's bad! I decided I'm going to let God's perfect design do it's work i.e. build my immune system. Praying for you Brother, Sean
Thanks for your input, and the sharing of your miraculous healing.
Please stay strong in Christ.
God Bless
Thanks for your response.
Even though we may not agree on the covid vaccine, everyone should have the freedom to consider it for their situation.
Walk in peace ....and may God protect you, your family, and friends.
God Bless

It humbles me, and gives me joy, that you would like to hear a bit about my life changing experience with the Lord. As we are all Blessed with our Testimonies in how the Lord came in our lives. I enjoyed hearing a little about how you came to the Lord as you replied with some info to someone. As now nothing really matters to me more than God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
Here is a post to my Testimony on this page. Link
Please do not take offense to the thing that led me to the Lord as I know it can cause division in the Body of Christ and I don't want that. As I stated it is not really that important to us who believe and are already with the Lord. We should all focus on Him and His Will. Amen.
God Bless.
God Bless you in that healing stream till the race is over.

Just to give a reply as brother Adam already expanded much about this subject. As I stated first that I can only speak for myself on this matter. Although I will never tell anyone I think they should get this "shot". Even as you gave the list of all those other sicknesses, which don't scare me either, this is totally different. From hearing numerous learned people in the medical field about this "vaccine". The main thing I don't like is how it is to change our DNA. That is bad. Also that they have actually been testing this "vaccine" in labs since the early 2000's. Though it has never made it past animal testing due to side effects and death. They didn't just come up with it, make it, in a couple months.
The only way it was past to be used, on people, was from some "emergency bill" or something. As I myself know people who have taken the "vaccine". It is sad to say but you can never go back after you take this shot. As again it changes your DNA as I'm not able to get too detailed about that but the information is out there. They even say it.
I suffered with epilepsy "seizures" for 17 years of my life. No doctor could ever find anything wrong with all the tests done. No medication, for 17 years, ever subsided me from having them. Even praying many times in tears, through the years, to God that He would heal me from this. Though when I gave my life to the Lord and prayed to Jesus Christ if He would heal me. It was in only a couple days He showed me he was healing me. As now I don't take any medication any more and having seizures is in the past. More than a dream come true. A prayer heard and the hand of the Lord healed me. Something no doctor can do. Praise the Lord!!
Please take this post from my heart brother Dan. As I believe we should trust, have faith, in the Lord over any man. If someone wants to get the "vaccine" I will not condemn them. Though if my opinion is asked for I will speak in truth.
God Bless you my brother.
Good morning also Mishael. Thanks too for what you wrote.

First, do you believe 100% of everything the media spoon feeds you or do you think that a % of it is untrue? I would be surprised if someone believed they are perfect, because only Jesus was perfect. Even the media are human and can make mistakes, but sometimes a news story seems intentionally distorted to convey a certain narrative, and sometimes there can be outright lies and propaganda. So, one must question- is the actual number of covid deaths what the media says? What if someone actually researched this and looked at what the CDC says on their website about "comorbidities." If one were to go down that rabbit hole one would find that only 6% of the reported deaths is from covid- that means that 94% of the deaths were reported as multiple causes- flu, pneumonia, heart disease, etc. About 2.8 - 3 million deaths in the US is normal for this population per year, and of those normal deaths, flu, pneumonia, are suddenly extremely low this year. It's almost as if these normal deaths were 'accidentally' marked as covid deaths for financial reasons.
The testing isn't 100% accurate either, antibodies can give false positives and there's different accuracy of tests and some can be retested and get a different result. When you look at over death count for the country, it's not much more than normal for the population. Literature from 80s labels coronavirus only a cold. So, when you rush in an experimental injection to 'cure' something that is 99.9% survivable that doesn't even affect kids, that has NOT killed the # claimed, but 90% have negative side effects of and a % have died from it, is it worth it the risk? WHO just cast doubt on whether the injection even works against coronavirus. Pray and do what's right for your family. God bless.

Polio
Typhoid
Whooping cough
Hepatitis
Etc.
God gave us a brain to reason, and make logical choices. He also gave us doctors, and science, to be used in a good and helpful way. We pray and believe that God and Jesus Christ will help us, but we also need to help ourselves.
God Bless
Our family has not been vaccinated, some may and some may choose not. The Lord leads in all things in His time, my little job is to hear and obey. Hope the day is bright outside. :)

As of coarse I can only speak for myself on this. I will never take that "vaccine" no matter what they try to do to force it on people. Looking over a count only in the USA over 50million people have been fully vaccinated and about 100million people have at least taken one shot or partial "vaccination". And that's only in just over three months. Even being the survival rate, if someone gets the so called "virus", is around 99%. Also nobody gets a normal cold or flu anymore, it's only this "virus" now.
I would say trust in God and Jesus Christ with all your heart.
God Bless.
Is this my brother in Sverige?
Either way.Of coarse there are slight changes here and there, in the Scriptures, as it is interpreted. As you know it is still the living Word of God. I myself was lead to Jesus Christ from some new "translation" of the Holy Bible. It still lead me to the Lord who is the way the, the truth, and the life.
I think judging can be perceived two ways. One is to judge someone and think "that's it, no hope for him" and curse them. The other is to judge what is right from wrong, truth from lies, and try to help others by telling them their faults. Now of coarse don't be a hypocrite and tell someone not to do something you also do. Of coarse the one Judge over all is Jesus Christ and we are all to be judged, by what we have done, in the end. Though we who follow Jesus Christ are the body of Christ. As He uses us as He pleases to do His Will.
About this life. A simple view is that this life is God's field and it is a place for testing of hearts and souls. Given in many parables by the Lord. The entire reason why God made us to live here, and whatnot, only God can answer. As it is probably not to be known while we are here. It is God's Will that shall be done not ours.
Here are some verses for you, about "judging" others. Not condemning others. To help them if able, not to curse them. Are we not to know, or judge, even a false prophet by their fruits? A tree is known by it's fruit.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
FOR YE ARE DEAD, AND YOUR LIFE IS "HID" WITH CHRIST IN GOD.
When Christ, who is our life, shall appear,
THEN SHALL YE ALSO APPEAR WITH HIM IN GLORY. "Absent of the body present with the Lord"
CHRIST WAS JUDGED FOR OUR SINS NOT HIS!! AND HE ROSE AGAIN FOR OUR JUSTIFICATION!!
You see in the old testament in the book of Exodus, you see the blood of the lamb as an atonement to hide them from judgment.
Exodus 12:11-13. And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the "LORD'S PASSOVER."
For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute "JUDGMENT": I am the LORD.
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
Christ is our passover, Jews/Gentiles =Church.
John 1:29. The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Believers works what they have done will be tried with fire but not for salvation.
1 Corinthians 3:13-15 (KJV) Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: "BUT HE HIMSELF SHALL BE SAVED; yet so as by fire.
Romans 8:1. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

And to me, this cross reference seems more appropriate, as it is still the same (human) author (Paul) relating the same thought to both the Colossian & Ephesian Christians. And in Ephesians, Paul is stating his "fit in the Lord" is the same as his "unto the Lord".
If your KJV is directing you to Ephesians 5:3, then I'm sorry, I can't see the connection at all. May I ask which KJV you are using, whether it's a particular Study or Reference Bible? Mine is the Ryrie Study Bible. In asking that of you, I would be interested in any of the other readers of this thread to check their Bibles & see what the cross reference is to their Colossians 3:18 verse (whether similar to yours, mine, or another). I remained mystified to your cross reference & would like to do further examination on this.
The following two verses give a man and his wife instructions not to sin. "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord" ( Colossians 3:18). This indicates a man and his wife can do what is unfit and the cross reference to "as it is fit in the Lord" refers one to Ephesians 5:3, "But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not be once named among you." Throughout scripture many verses tell a man and his wife there is a form of sexual behavior they should not engage in. The cross reference tell us fornication is unfit for a man and his wife.
How do you explain the following?
The following verse gives a man and his wife instructions not to sin.
Fornication is clearly defined in Jude 1:7 as being the sex in Sodom and Gomorrah. "Sodom and Gomorrah giving themselves over to fornicationare set forth for an example." So we can see that God forbids all men and women, including husbands and wives to use their bodies for fornication. This truth is reinforced and made clear in 1 Corinthians 6:13 where it declares, "The body is not made for fornication, but for the Lord.
How can a wife and her husband commit adultery with each other as you tell us they can.?
Colossians 3:18, "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord." This verse means that husbands and wives can do what is unfit. And the cross reference to "as it is unfit in the Lord" sends me to Ephesians 5:3, to explain what is unfit. "But fornication, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not be once named among you." Oral and anal sex is forbidden and unfit for husbands and wives for it is stated in Jude 7 that the sex of Sodom and Gomorrah is called fornication, "Sodom and Gomorrah giving themselves over to fornication and going after strange flesh are set forth for an example." So, we can see that God forbids all men and women, all husbands and wives, to use their bodies for fornication, the sex of Sodom and Gomorrah. This truth is reinforced and made clear in 1 Corinthians 6:13 where it declares, "The body is not made for fornication, but for the Lord."
The Scripture actually is Paul speaking to Timothy about his ministerial responsibilities & not Timothy speaking to the Jews. This is nevertheless a clear directive based on the order of creation: even though Adam & Eve were created equal in every respect, yet God chose the order of creation, that Adam (man) be created first under God & then Eve, under man. In society, this order can have some bearing, but in the Church, that order must be followed: that man has been given the authority to lead God's people & to teach them accordingly. Women have not that privilege, but have doubtless played vital roles in the Church (as you have shown) & as helpers to Paul & Timothy & others.
Your reference to Galatians 3:28, Romans 10:12 & Colossians 3:11, are indications of a woman's equality to men & particularly as those 'in Christ'. They have nothing to do with the order within Christ's Church. Any evidence of a woman usurping that position, is contrary to God's order & requirement. It was never seen in the NT Church nor evidence in the Church subsequent. This is new phenomenon: from about the 1900s this came to be evident (I may be corrected on this date), as the emancipation movement of women grew & with the advent of the world wars, there were fewer men to lead the Church. But this was never from biblical design & ought to have been corrected but unfortunately has increasingly become the norm in some Churches & it has been accepted with disregard to Divine instruction. And lest you think that I have something against women as leaders, I do not. In many instances (both secular & religious), women actually do a better job than men, but that doesn't give permission to re-interpret God's Word.
