My apologies for giving you Exodus 12:4. I meant to give Exodus Chapter 12 Verse 46, not Verse 4. Exodus 12:46 talks about the Passover Lamb, that they were not to break the bones of the Lamb, even after they kill it, the foreshadowing of the fulfillment of prophecy that when Messiah comes, the Lamb of God, to die for the sins of the world, that there was a prophecy about Him that not a bone would be broken.

He died on a Friday, sometime shortly after 3 PM in the afternoon. The Sabbath day was on a Saturday, and no one could be hanging on a cross on the Sabbath day according to Jewish Law. On the day of preparation, which would have been Friday, Jesus and two others were crucified. They had to be dead before sundown because at 6 PM, that was the end of the workday for the Jews, and they couldn't still be hanging there on Saturday, the Sabbath Day. It says it was about the ninth hour, or 3 PM when Jesus' Spirit left Him. They came by to break the legs of the other two, but when they came to Jesus to break His legs, He was already dead, so they did not break His legs. That in itself was the fulfillment of Psalm 34:20, and Exodus 12:4.

Sir, you've done no wrong. It's not what we eat that defiles us, but what comes out of the mouth ( Matt. 15:11). It's the evil that comes out of the mouth that defiles because it comes from the heart. Also, I want to share something I have learned about the so called greatest commandments spoken in Matthew Chapter 22. Those are not commandments at all. Our English bibles look like they are commands, but in the Greek text, they are not in command form but are statements of fact. Jesus was not commanding us to love Him or our neighbor. What He was saying is that if you have born of His Spirit, you will love the Lord you God, and you will love your neighbor. Not a command but statement of fact.

The two "greatest commandments" in Matthew Chapter 22, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God, and love thy neighbor, are not commands. Our bibles make it sound like they are commands, but the Greek text shows that they are not commands. Jesus is not commanding us to love Him or our neighbor. He's giving us a factual statement, you will love, if you have my Spirit in you. Fact!

Someone asked Jesus what was the most important commandment.

Mat 22:37 - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 - This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 - On these two commandments hang ALL the law and the prophets.

After 66 years I have come to the awareness of this command. I am not Jewish but I want to follow God commandments as instructed on Exodus 12:17 of the unleavened bread. I have eaten leavened bread this morning and I feel I have already violated the first thing God almighty instructed for me to do. What to do now? After 66 years and knowledge has passed me.. The Passover started the same day that Jesus died on the cross at sunset. Jesus said I and the Father are one. I in him and He in me. Jesus is God manifest in the flesh.

was Jesus crucifixion before the Passover? if some saying that blood on the door was Jesus blood, and they calling him the Lamb, why was he also being called GOD, and why was Jesus had to protect us Israelite from God who save us from Egypt? Why would we have to demise Jesus to protect his father from us? The Ten Commandment state have no other GOD but him. So how we drag Jesus as a GOD when we are told he is the son. We are made in the image of our father GOD. And this poor lamb is very confuse no wonder we have men pretending to be female, Adam name all the animals, and Jesus was not one of them. In one house shall it be eaten thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house neither shall ye break a bone thereof. Greetings, centuries before the birth of Moses, the were generations of people who hated God, and today they still hate God. Speaking specially of the God of the Hebrews. (Read Psalms 83) After numerous generations, God (Yahweh) decided to separate a certain seed of people, (see Matthew chapter 1) from all other people upon the face of the earth to carry His Spirit into the future.

God created us for him. ALL OF US! God has a lot of patients with us. When God tells us to do something he means it! God created us for him. Therefore God can do whatever he wants!

When the children of Israel left Egypt, a mix multitude also left with them and they were saved also. So anyone that had a mind to no longer be a part of the Egyptian regime or mindset, they had an opportunity to leave with the Children of Israel.

The lamb was a picture of Christ-loved and then taken to the slaughter. The blood is shed for our safe keeping. In and through the blood we are saved. The gods of Egypt were false. The powers used by the Egyptians were satanic. Though it seemed harsh to kill even the Egyptian firstborn God's ways are just, and we must leave it with our Heavenly Father and not carry doubts and fears over it. Just saying. Thank you!

the chapter 12 of Exodus tells us of the people of Israel strength, that Moses was a man of God with Faith. without faith he could not do it. and the people had to have someone with faith so they can be strong.

I don't quite understand why God dealt so harshly with all Egyptians when there were probably many good people just living their lives as with any community. Was it their fault that they were born Egyptian....Help me understand.
