    Dear Chris

I'm a disciple of JESUS, who said from He himself " I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning( Genesis 1:1) and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the ALMIGHTY.

My Lord JESUS in His pray to the Father, said: John 17:5-6

5 Now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the WORLD was.

6 I have manifested thy NAME unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy Word.

Chris, what GOD's NAME was manifested by my Lord JESUS?

    Hi Ronald.

I don't believe anyone see the Trinity in 1 John 1:1 by itself but I do believe it's seen in 1 John 1:1-7 and John 1:10 without having to add or take away from Scripture.

And, 1 John 1:1 "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life" was dealt with between you and others.

However the first part of that verse "That which was from the beginning". Is easily seen that this portion of scripture takes a person (Jesus) and associates him with a beginning as mentioned in John 1:1-2 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. THE SAME WAS IN THE BEGINNING WITH GOD.

Jn 1:10. He was in the world, AND THE WORLD WAS MADE BY HIM, and the world knew him not.

it's clear Jesus existed before his earthly ministry.

Are you going into your studies without a predetermined position?

Ronald with all due respect your passion and study in this seems to be to exterminate the view rather search to see if it is any truth to it.

I believe in what John 1:1 says that line up with scriptures from Genesis 1:1 on through Revelation.

Thanks Brother and I pray that God bless you in your journey as you continue in your studies.

    Hey S Spencer,

Thank you for your reply, yes, Genesis 3:15 tells us He will come by the seed of a woman, and that is exactly what we see happen in Mary. My understanding of John 1:1-5 is John's prolog at the start of his gospel like Genesis 1:1 is a prolog to the rest of Genesis 1. John starts with, In the beginning.

I see this beginning as the coming of the Messiah/Christ the beginning of Jesus's ministry because in John 1:6, John goes to John the Baptist as the witness of the one who was to come, the Light that darkness did not comprehend. This is the start of Jesus's ministry when Jesus was anointed with the Holy Ghost/Spirit and God made Him the Messiah/Christ, Acts 2:36.

Jesus was sent for the lost sheep of Israel, Matthew 15:24, His role or ministry was to fulfill the law and the prophets in confirming the new covenant by His death and resurrection from the dead to pay the price for our sins. Daniel 9:27 is also about the 3.5 years of Jesus ministry but that is another topic. Jesus was the Messiah that was prophesied to come in Daniel. As I have discussed with Chris my understanding is Jesus was the beginning of the plan of God and like John 1:10 it is through Him not by Him.

Jesus, God' Son is first in God's plan of creation, and everything was created in and through Him and Jesus was begotten in the fullness of time. Ephesians 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: Colossians 1:20. I know you may also not agree with that but that is how I understand, it is God the Father who is the creator.

The light was the word of God that dwelt in Jesus, the glory of the Father that dwelt in Jesus, 2 Corinthians 4:6.

    God bless,

What matters and prevails is the Word of GOD,the Word is from everlasting to everlasting, the Word is GOD,self-executing.The Word -GOD-was made flesh around 2000 years ago or two GODs' Days ago, indeed it still was the fourth GOD's Day- Genesis 1:16-and He as the Greater Light said:My Father worketh hitherto, and I work-Jo. 5:17.Yes,GOD the Father still was working,it was still the fourth Day of His works.

The Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path- Psalm 119:105 combined with 1Jo.1:5:This is the message which we have heard of Him,and declare unto you, that GOD is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all. And the Word made flesh said:I am come a Light into the world, that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness-Jo.12:46.JESUS also said to the Father in His prayer:Jo.17:7-8- ->7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou has given me are of thee. 8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gave me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou did send me.

The testimony of JESUS is the Spirit of prophecy.By the way, Isaiah prophesied:For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given:and the government is upon His shoulder:His name shall be called Wonderful,Counsellor,The mighty God,The everlasting Father,The Prince of Peace.

JESUS said to the Father:All mine are thine, and thine are mine;and I am glorified in them.

And now come I to thee;and these things I speak in the world, that THEY(THE TRUE BELIEVERS) might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.Jo.17:10-13.

Jo.1:18-No man hath seen GOD at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father,He has declared Him.

Jo.14:8-9:-->8 Philip saith unto JESUS:Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.9 JESUS saith unto Philip:Have I been so long time with you, and yet has thou not known me,Philip?he that has seen me has seen the Father;and how say you then,Show us the Father?

I and my Father are one-Jo.10:30

    Chris,

    Part 3

I hope even though you may not agree, you can make sense of my replies. I would like to tell you I do not Have anything in common with JW or their translation of the bible.

My understanding we are mortal beings and no part of us is immortal. I see the spirit as our breath/life that goes back to God when we die, Ecclesiastes 11:7 and Scripture tell us the soul can die, Ezekiel 18:4 Matthew 10:28 Hebrew 9:27. Like Paul said of David being dead in the tomb and has not ascended to heaven, Acts 2:34. We do not put on immortality until the resurrection, 1 Corinthians 15:53-54.

Bear with me my Greek is kindergarten level, arche the beginning or origin I see it maybe a little differently I understand God the Father as the Creator as in Genesis 1:1 and Psalm 19:1. I believe in the plan of God Jesus was first and as in Romans 4:17 Jesus was in Gods eyes in the womb of Mary and then the angels and all the counsel of heaven then the earth and all that was to be.

In Genesis 17:5 when God renamed Abram to Abraham God said, "for the father of many nations I have made thee". It was not Abraham will become a father of many nations it was already done in the plan of God.

"Firstborn of every creature and the firstborn from the dead" Jesus was the firstborn, Jesus being the first in God's plan would make Him the firstborn, and Jesus is the firstborn of the dead. There were people brought back from the dead like in 2 Kings 13:21 the guy was thrown into Elisha's tomb and when his body touched Elisha's bone he came back to life and stood up, and we see the ones in the New Testament. No one who died before Jesus who came back to life died again Jesus was the first to overcome death.

Jesus is the firstborn of the dead because He had no sin and death could not hold Him and when Jesus rose He rose in a glorified body never to die again, Revelation 1:18. That is what we look forward to when we are resurrected.

See part 4 sorry I am slow.

    Christ was given the Kingdom

God the Father granted Christ all authority on heaven and earth which sets forth the ultimate example of how God worked to reward the perfect obedience of Christ. It also goes against Satan's offer to worship him to have such authority. ( Matthew 28:18; Matthew 4:9).

One may question how Christ; who Himself brought all of creation into existence would have such a destiny. ( Colossians 1:16-20). In that situation; one may say that He was the Person to do the work that the Father had planned; and His agent as it were was the Spirit of God (hovering over the waters as it states in Genesis 1:2).

We realize in this that no servant is greater than his master. ( John 15:20). We all are nothing without Him; yet He will likewise exalt the humble with positions to rule and reign with Christ in the Millennium. In some sense we can say that Christ emptied Himself so that He could be our High Priest suffering in all ways but without sin. ( Heb. 4:15). As the second Adam He was able to keep from the temptations of the devil to fall unlike Adam; as well as fulfilling the law perfectly which no man could do. ( 1 Cor. 15:45-47).

It is hard to get our mind around these facts; that He who created all things would start from conception as a helpless babe and end as a sheep to the slaughter ( Isaiah 53:7); the Lamb of God which will forever be ascribed to His Name. Of course all of us who are saved are adopted sons; ( Ephesians 1:5) part of the eternal lineage of the rightous (as contrasted with the earth dwellers in Revelation 11:10).

Christ is returning as conquering king. He alone trods the winepress ( Isaiah 63:3). He alone brings forth the TRUE one world government of peace and rules in righteousness; impartially judging as many verses in Isaiah testify. Some verses can be taken symbolically but to not take Revelation 19 literally or somehow think Christ already returned in some mystical way is heretical thinking (see 2 Tim. 2:18)

    Hi Adam,

Thank you, you are correct I believe in one God the Father and one Lord Jesus Christ as most of the greetings in the epistles Ephesians 6:23 1 Thessalonians 1:1 and more, and nowhere is this doctrine taught in the New Testament that we must believe for salvation.

It is like Matthew 28:19 the baptizing in the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit but nowhere do we see it in the New Testament all were baptized in the name of Jesus and only in the name of Jesus are we saved. My study of 1 John 5:7 is that it was added from the Latin Vulgate and was not in the original text, but that can be debated.

I understand I am in the minority and have discussed this before. We can find Scripture to fit a doctrine, but can we find Scripture where the doctrine was taught? I have not found where the Trinity doctrine is taught. Like Genesis 1:26 there are many beings in heaven and the word us does not say God was speaking to Jesus, that is an assumption.

Thank you again for discussing this in a loving and respectful manor, this subject is deep and as long as we have love for each other, and truth is what we are in search of.

    God bless,

Thank you RLW for your input. It sounds like from your response you don't believe that God is triune like 1 John 5:7 says. The 3 verses about Godhead are not the only part of the Bible that says God is plural. Genesis 1:26 for example: "And God said, Let us make man in our image.." Jesus's followers called Jesus "God" and worshipped Him, etc.

Evidence I see so far indicates that most references to God are triune. One, singular, but triune God. Not 3 Gods, one God. As hard as it is to comprehend the Bible gives a distinction within God between the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost.

The WHOLE bible rightly divided. From Genesis 1:1 to Revelations 21:22 speaks of Jesus. None of it is to be discounted.

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Genesis 1:27 KJV

God made man in his image and when you look at male and female you will see God. Both are adopted and loved by God.

    Hey Momsage,

I do not want to confuse you, I will give my understanding, and others may give theirs. You may find different views on the soul, go to the bible and with the Holy Spirit for your understanding. If we look at a soul, in Hebrew it is nephesh a living being, it can be a human being, an animal, or a living creature, as we see in Genesis 1:20 the word creatures is the word nephesh, the soul is who we are in our body.

When God breathed the breath of life into the body He formed out of the dust of the ground, that breath was the spirit that gave life to Adam and Adam became a living soul/being, the combination of a body and spirit. A soul is one's life, self, thoughts, desire, passion, appetite, and emotions. All of who we are inside our body is the soul, so yes Jesus had a soul, He was a soul, a living being. The soul is not some immaterial part of us that separates from our bodies when we die.

I hope this helps, like I said this is my understanding study for yours.

    God bless,

The following verses are object lessons explaining the relationship between God the Father and Jesus Christ. Two separate Gods united as one in purpose, plan, and action. Add in the Holy Spirit, which is also God. And that's the Trinity. It is easy to understand:

26 And God said, Let US make man in our image, after OUR likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

    Genesis 1:26 (emphasis mine).

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and THEY SHALL BE ONE FLESH."

    Genesis 2:24 (emphasis mine).

God is ONE GOD in purpose, plan, and action. There is no shadow of turning with our God who will never change. Thank you, LORD, that we, your children, may trust in you. We sojourn in a scary land that is not our home. Come soon. Amen.

    The Gospel Message is simple:

BELIEVE in Jesus Christ as the true God incarnate. That His death and resurrection provided the sacrificial blood for forgiveness of mankind's sin so that the soul may be in His Prescence for eternity.

ASK Jesus, with a sincere heart, for forgiveness of your sins and accept Him into your heart as your personal Savior.

Then you will have the leading of the Holy Spirit to want to live a sin free, holy life.

The Holy Spirit will lead you into a heartfelt desire to read and study His word; the 1611 King James Bible. It tells us who God is and that He, and He, alone is the Creator of everything.

God is to be loved and Obeyed.

Always, your heart should be turned toward GOD and the things of God.

Don't let yourself be fooled by ANY of the modern, corrupt translations. of the "bible." Stick to the 1611 KJB.

The Word of God tells us who God is and that He, and He, alone is the Creator of everything.

Read the bible diligently and consistently through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit after salvation until you go home to Him.

God is to be loved and Obeyed.

The bible is a wonderful book with stories, lessons and much Knowledge for God's people. Whether we sleep until He brings us into His Prescence, or we go straight to His Prescence when our soul leaves our body, we are His forever if we choose to live holy and be obedient to Him.

This is a straight, and narrow path and not many will and follow it because God gave man a free will to choose Him and His way or to choose the devil, through self will, and his way.

It really is that simple to live and understand as long as we put ourselves under the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord.

    Scriptures to read:

    Book of Luke

    Genesis 1: 1-11

John 10:34- seems to be a popular verse here. People want to believe they are a god, is that what's happening here? That would be a gross misinterpretation. You know this is a quote with a question mark at the end, right? Let's be honest about it. Here's the commentary for that:

Christ's argument is: If your law calls judges gods, why should I be held guilty of blasphemy for saying that I am the Son of God?

As per the other argument trying to discredit the word "one" sounds like your argument is that one doesn't really mean one, because Jesus used it to describe believers being one. I don't see how being one in unity as Christ's body somehow means that all the Bible verses about Jesus being God and divine suddenly don't apply? The verse about the Father and Son being one is only one of MANY verses competing the picture. The Bible already says Jesus the Word is God so how can you disregard that?

God: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1 KJV

    You: Word was "NOT" God?

"Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also." John 8:19 KJV

Have you thought about how your belief reconciles with verses like this above?

    Isaiah 7:14 -

Yes, Jesus is called Immanuel which means "God with us". People called Jesus "God". He's King of King and Lord of Lords. Alpha and Omega, first and last. Do you believe Jesus is Lord? I believe that is a requirement for even being a Christian. A Christ follower should know who Christ is.

    1 John 5:7-8

    John 10:30

    John 8:19

    Genesis 1:26

Genesis 11:6-7 (plural "us" which includes Jesus, as per John 1:1)

Hello Francene777. The answer you seek is difficult to give since the Bible does not divulge any more information than what is given in the first chapter of Genesis. In regards to what you learned about this, that the Earth lost its form & became void when Satan decided to rule, we have been given no timeline as to when Satan was cast out of Heaven & whether being cast out, the Earth became uninhabitable. So, it can only be speculation on this matter.

For your thoughts though: the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 4:4 wrote, "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them". Satan is considered the 'god of this world', not that he usurpes the True God's creative, sustaining ownership of this Earth, but that Satan as a roaring, prowling lion, constantly seeks to infiltrate the minds of people towards sin & estrangement from God. So I ask myself, 'if Satan is still free to roam & deceive the hearts of men, why doesn't this beautifully formed & filled Earth become corrupt again as it did in Genesis 1:2?" Surely, if the Earth was created by God in perfect form & fullness at the first, then became corrupted by Satan's presence, it follows that it should then return to a corrupted formless state. But as far as I can see, this is still a beautiful Earth that we have been given, to which Satan has no power over. Maybe worth considering.

I do understand that God set out the day for the new year in Exodus 12:2.

It seems that the Jewish calendar eventually became a solar-lunar one with the knowledge of a true orbit of the earth to be 365 days and some part of a day-about 1/4th. The Jewish nation from the exile in Babylon began to use the Babylonian calendar. Julius Caesar began the Roman calendar in 45 B.C. both of these calendars left many days unaccounted for and a need to add months at intervals. The Julian Calendar was revised to a 364 day year, but then this left open one day and 1/4 each year to be made up. The Gregorian calendar was eventually introduced with a 365 day year with a day added to February every 4th year if this day year could be divided by 400.

The Gregorian calendar became the international calendar eventually although some people groups still kept their own particular calendars such as the Jews, Chinese, Persians, Hindu, etc.

Genesis 1:14 says that God put the sun, moon, and stars to give light to the earth and to be used for signs, for seasons, for days, and years. So for me, in the beginning, God declared that all these celestial objects were to be used in creating a calendar that aligns with the equinoxes of the seasons. When science was able to calculate the orbit of the earth more accurately a more accurate calendar year could be set forth. The Gregorian calendar requires only the addition of one day every 4 years instead of weeks and months at the end of the year as the Jewish calendar does.

    I find nothing evil or wrong about using a calendar system that most accurately accounts for the days in a year most closely. The Gregorian calendar is such a calendar and keeps the equinoxes in stable positions in the year more than any other calendar used today. It is not perfect, but it works better than any other calendar at this time;

Thank you Jema for your reply. On the Isaiah 13:12 reference, we would find no agreement at all, as the verse, when understood naturally & in context refers to the scarcity of human life during those times of the LORD's intervention & destruction. If you are finding Jesus in there (i.e. "I will MAKE A MAN more precious than fine gold"), then that would have to be a personal discovery rather than a textual truth.

And likewise with Colossians 3:10, the text doesn't allow for such an interpretation (i.e. of God creating Jesus). Paul is writing about two 'persons': the new man (i.e. the human being renewed by the Spirit), and of God (Who creates in His (God's) Image). So, it doesn't speak of Jesus, but of man who was once created in God's Image (Adam), & then after the fall, that image was marred, which necessitated a re-creation of that image in man. And to do this, man had to be changed inwardly (becoming a 'new man'), who now is being "renewed in knowledge" into the image of the One (God) Who created him (man). Yes, we do have 2 Corinthians 4:4 & Colossians 1:15 to support your use of 'image' as to Christ's 'creation', but we also have Genesis 1:27 & 1 Corinthians 11:7 to support man being made in God's Image. But to put Christ in Colossians 3:10 would violate the point of that verse which is directed to man's renewal.

Lastly, you wrote that you "don't really relish the idea of a big debate". That puzzled me since you initiated those questions for our responses. If we gave responses without 'debate/discussion', then the whole exercise would be entirely fruitless & pointless. So maybe you just wanted to share your understanding of those verses, but not willing to defend your beliefs; and these matters (of Christ's Divinity, eternal judgement, etc.) are vital to Christians & also in the preaching of the Gospel. Without these fundamentals, we have no Gospel - we have no message of liberty & hope to share with a lost world.

Again a very backwards teaching. Genesis 1:26 the words "Let us" and NOT "Let me" plural as God was talking to somebody in heaven and it was not Lucifer. God was talking to his Son as the bible tells us that there was always somebody with God at all times in the old testament. To say that Jesus was God and was one of the angels or whatever funny teachings you received from church is not the bible truth but some perverted doctrine of devils and seducing spirit. God had a Son known as the Holy One in the bible in the old testament. God the Son is just a man made gospel from the pit of hell as God the Son never lived a day on the earth, more or less die for my sins. Can't make the blind to see or lame to walk in the name of God the Son. The Son of God Jesus Christ sure can make the blind to seem death to hear and lame to walk. The Holy One came down not God. God was not Superman to become a human being. Don't know where you get such funny gospel that Jesus was one of the angles or Jesus is God.

I have named no names and purely made a statement.

I am under the impression God is a live and his Son Jesus is still on earth.

But he answered, and said, It is written, Man shall not liue by bread alone, but by euery word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

    Hello again Gerhardus,

In my post I did not claim to be chosen of God due to education or certificate, so that comment does not apply to me.

Jesus said that His words are spirit and Life, so yes, the Scriptures bring us knowledge of Christ without Him appearing to us. We hear from those He inspired who WERE eyewitnesses of Him when He lived on earth (Paul being the exception having seen the risen and glorified Jesus).

Gerhardus, one thing I think every believer has is the Holy Spirit because Peter said that the Spirit is given to all who come to faith in Jesus Acts 2:38-39. When you ask those on this forum if we have received the Holy Ghost, it seems like you are posing a challenge to others as to the genuineness of their faith, which you cannot determine. And when you denigrate those who seek to learn from Scripture, you are showing a prejudice towards people who use their minds as well as their hearts to come to know our Lord and the Father.

We are to love the Lord with all of our hearts, soul, MINDS, and strength. We are to us our mind to access what God says in HIS Scriptures. It is with our minds that we hear the Scriptures spoken or with our minds that we read and understand what we read. This is as God has designed it to be.

Scriptures do not tell us to expect a "visit" from Jesus to be taught of Him, as you seem to state. He gave us Scriptures as a sure and stable revelation of Himself and how He saves us from our sin. How we are to live inn a godly way for His glory and how we are to treat one another with love, especially those who also believe.

Gerhardus, I am glad to have read your posts. I hope our conversations will be gracious and reflect the truth of God revealed in Scripture. I will be praying for you. I hope you will also lift me up in prayer. Thanks.

  • Gerhardus - In Reply on Genesis 1:1 - 1 year ago
A person need to receive the Holy Ghost. And Christ gave the Holy Ghost unto his Apostles and they gave it unto those that were chosen by God. Jesus said unto his Apostles free you have received it free you shall give it. If he that claim he is a chosen of God because he paid for the education and has a certificate to prove it is a liar and had been lied to.

The New testament acknowledge Jesus and tel us things about him and the works he did and the things he said but it also tel us about the Apostles and the things they did and say and how God appeared unto them and have send them where He God needed them.

The Scripture by itself dont bring salvation. It may bring hope. Salvation is to know the true God and his Son Jesus Christ - the Church today off which Christ is the head.

What I learn from the new testament is that God - if (you are a chosen) may personally appear unto you, from time to time, with a special request which you SHOULD NOT go against.

The thing is - CAN "YOU - meaning anyone today" with authority claim he is a chosen one of God.

    Hello Gerhardus, welcome.

The story of Philip and the Ethiopian demonstrates why God gave the offices of pastor, teacher, evangelist, apostle to the church Jesus created and promised to preserve throughout the ages. The Scriptures are our teachers because the words were written by apostles, taught of God, Who gave them the inspiration as to what to write. The Words in Scripture are God's message to us.

We are to read the Scriptures repeatedly to get them deep into our minds and hearts:

*to be able to remember verses to share with others in their time of learning or need

*to bring to mind when we need comfort, correcting, and understanding in all situations in our lives

*to teach them to our children in the everyday moments when circumstance come up where a good word from Scripture is needed without opening up the Scriptures to search for a verse

There are many more reasons to be very familiar with ALL of the Bible, so frequent reading is important.

Then there is the study of the Scriptures that goes beyond just reading it. We do this to:

*learn correct doctrines taught by the apostles across the epistles

*to learn more and more of Jesus in the Gospels

*to mature in our understanding of what God has revealed in Scripture

*to share our thoughts with others as we interact with Scripture

*to learn from a pastors sermons, teachers who lead us, and those God has anointed to be wise in Scriptural truth.

There are many other reasons to study the Scriptures

We meditate on what we read in Scriptures to:

*allow the Holy Spirit to strengthen our faith

*to immerse ourselves in the thoughts of Gods instead of thoughts of the world

*to mindful of God's Presence in us and His prescribed way of coming to Him through prayer and His Word

*to help us as we pray with the help of the Holy Spirit

There are many other reasons to meditate on Scripture.

All these actions are important to employ in our lives regularly.

Jesus said, "My words are Spirit and Live"

The eunoch didn't understand because he had been living in Ethiopia and didn't have the new testament as we now do . Ethiopians are very significant in the Bible , individuals are mentioned a few times in the old testament , playing very important roles . No doubt the Ethiopian went back to Ethiopia and told his friends and family all about the great things that had happened in Israel .

The Scripture is good for teaching and referral. Knowing the Scripture by heart is good but is not meaningful to God. Looking at the piece where Philip was send to the eunuch on the wagon there are a lot to learn from this piece.

    1) The Lord after His crucifixion appeared unto Philip (ONE he taught) and instructed him to visit the eunuch on the wagon. It is clear that God from time to time make use of people HE TAUGHT to go and do work for HIM. Now then if you are not a taught of Christ how will he appear unto you?

    2) The eunuch did read the Scripture but did not understand (hidden from). This again shows me if you are not taught by Christ himself or by one he directly taught and or they taught you will not understand the scripture. And therefor not one of HIS. As it is written in the scripture where Jesus told them who did not understand - you dont understand cause you not of my flock.

Its interesting to say, the earth was without form..means was it a plan by the God.. In God's eyes there is no difference between plan and action

Part One: The love of God. Creation and salvation

Psalm 51:10 states "Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me." Christ states that man must be born of water and the Spirit ( John 3:5) which refers either to physical birth first then spiritual; or the baptism associated with God granting repentance and someone being "born again."

The Lord created man in the image of God; both male and female according to Genesis 1:27. Man was given all he needed to live a blissful existence as long as he remained in communion with God; he was given authority over all creation and asked to tend the garden. God's love; however already looked to the needed redemption of man foreseeing his fall; and thus Christ's sacrifice was planned before time began to bring this plan to effect and destroy Satan's temporary usurping of rulership on earth ( Gen. 3:15).

Therefore; Jesus became as the second Adam. (see 1 Cor. 15:47-49 for further details). To put to death the old man expresses the ultimate love; for it is the natural state of the unredeemed soul that can never escape itself in eternal hell. The world and its lusts are temporary; but He has put eternity in the hearts of man. ( Ecclesiastes 3:11). He has promised that He will never leave nor forsake us ( Deut. 31:6; Heb. 13:5). He acts as high priest ever interceding for us ( Rom. 8:34; Heb. 14:15-16; etal).

Along with eternal salvation; God accomplishes His will in our lives; and shows His love by chastising all those He loves. ( Heb. 12:6-7 and other verses). The Lord will lose none of His sheep or His elect as they will hear His voice ( John 10:1-4). Thus the work has been done on our behalf; we can do nothing to add to it or merit any favor. Thus our response should be to love Him accordingly and not to focus on what He can do for us in this life; but to seek that His will is done on earth as in heaven.

The process of sanctification and glorification will be reviewed in future posts.

    Bonnergy:

God was right there when Adam and Eve ate the FRUIT.

    What was that single TREE?

The tree of KNOWLEDGE of good and evil.

So when they ate the FUITH that were GIVEN KNOWLEDGE of GOOD and EVIL.

God himself placed Satan there in the garden to CAUSE Adam and Eve to partake of the FRUIT.

Why was this so important for them to consume the fruit of the tree of KNOWLEDGE of good and evil.

God word tells why it was so important.

Genesis 3:22 ....behold they have BECOME LIKE ONE US, to KNOW good and evil....

Genesis 1:27 ... so created he them in his OWN IMAGE .....

You CAN NOT be the IMAGE of GOD without having the KNOWLEDGE of God, good and evil.

Man's teaching distort the teachings of God's word, man was never made perfect in the beginning.

Romans 8:29 For man was MADE subject to vanity.

Man only became perfect, when He and Christ were RAISED as ONE FLESH, at Christ's resurrection.

    God BLESS YOU!
