I believe with Wesley. The Bible states that God only had one son in heaven and that was Jesus. According to scripture, angels have never been called sons. Read Hebrews 1:5 and Hebrews 1:13. Let the Word of God be truth. The idea of angels having sex with women came out of a mind that didn 't have a clear understanding of scripture concerning angels. Angels neither marry or are given in marriage. Angels don 't procreate give birth to little angels so why would God give them sex organs or the desire for something that they would not need. He only gave those things to man because He didn 't create a world full of people. He created one man and one woman and told them to fill the earth with their kind. God has all knowledge and wisdom. He has never made a mistake and He never will. The only reference to woman being made is when Eve was made from man. God didn 't make male and female angels. All references to angels are in the masculine. Heaven is not being populated by beings that are being born there only with those from earth who are true to God. God is not the author of confusion.

Hebrews 11. I like referring to it as the 'FAITH CHAPTER '. I find it very encouraging and edifying! May the Lord bless all who have the faith of our Father Abraham! Amen!

If we love righteousness, and hate evil, the lord our God will make us stand out with joy that knows no bounds. Joy cannot be faked. It has to well up from within.worldly joy is momentally.only those annointed with oil of gladness can maintain and enjoy un-interrupted joy.oh yes contageous communicable joy.

If a prophet is for gain or is telling your fortune be careful, plus signs and wonders from God sre not temporary. God today and yesterday.true God never changes but we must, Jesus is the light of the world if light means wisdom if we walk by faith and Godly wisdom we can walk in, and with the Holy Spirit who is the power of God, I believe that Jesus sets on the right hand of God not next to Him but in Him if we be in Him He in us then the Anointing ,the Power of God will be seen. When God spoke or even speaks today it has always been, what is to come!!! Jesus said you will know by the testimony of Me!!! Alpha the Omega we as carnal people are so caught up in gain that we can 't see nor are we listen concerning the times. Jesus asked how long must I be with you???? Can 't you see the seasons,,,, Now let those who have an ear to hear let them hear.

Hello Paul, David Peter Baker: In addition to my post to you, let me make something perfectly clear, I do not believe in telling fortunes. However, there is a difference when the Lord through the power of the Holy Ghost sends a warning or passes judgment. For example, when the Holy Ghost let Peter know that Ananias and Sapphira lied about how much they got for their land. Peter did not know that they kept back part of it privly, but God knew and he killed them right there. They lied to the Holy Ghost that was in Peter, Acts 5.

Hello Paul, David Peter Baker: I understand what you are saying. Jesus Christ is Omnipotent, Omnipresence, and Omniscient. He knows all things. He does tell the true man or woman of God what is going on, especially if it is a warning. We have many examples in the Bible. However, I have a personal example. I was teaching a group of Sunday school teenagers at this church. I always fast and pray and ask God to help me with the lesson. For two Sundays in a row the lesson was focused on Mary the mother of Jesus. I was teaching them how she was a virgin and how God used her to bring forth baby Jesus. I told them you are never too young for God to use you. Stay faithful, pure and abstain from sex. I did not know that these children were having sex, but the Holy Ghost knew and had me teach this warning for two Sundays. Two weeks later mostly all the girls came up pregnant. One boy was killed dressed as a transsexual in a car accident with an older man. God sent me in and warned them to stop, don t do it. They did not listen and the results were bad.

Hello Nell J. Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh, 1 Timothy 3 16 "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
  • Nell J on Hebrews 1 - 10 years ago
I find this so fascinating! Jesus was in the Father, and God spoke and The Word was manifested which is speaking of Jesus being the word. And his placement on the throne. Go back to Genesis In the beginning. It is amazing

Jesus Christ is revealed in this chapter as heir of the Father, Messiah of mankind and the very personality of God. He was exalted by God and became our Mediator.
  • Will on Hebrews 1:4 - 10 years ago
This verse is dynamic in it 's clause, because Jesus is, was, and will be forever more. He is the Son of God and He is God. I believe that He is the Word made flesh and He dwelt among us. He is known by us because of that, so that we have no excuse. We take pride and boast in Him to know that He is our Father the maker of everything.
  • Joni G on Hebrews 1 - 10 years ago
Yes, Jesus Christ the One, only begotten Son of God is glorified very much in this chapter. I love that the King James Version uses begotten. That is very important! Some of the other versions have omitted begotten. Praise God and we can come boldly to the throne of grace in our time of need. Praise God!

I just love your site. I love the word of God and these translations, showing the 1611 version of the King James along with today 's King James and it is alive and glorious. This blesses me greatly.

After studying Hebrews now for about 10 weeks I can say it is my favorite book! The writer does a good job of clarifying very well about Jesus identity and purpose to include the major differences between the old covenant and the new covenant. As a new Christian I appreciate knowing much more that is covered by this wonderful book.

Hello Aubrey, In St. John the first chapter, it states in verse 1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ". Verse 3 "All things were made by him, and without him was not any thing made that was made ". When you read over in Genesis Chapter 1 You have to ask yourself who made everything God did. Then you read St. John Chapter 1 14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth ". See the Word was God, He made everything in the beginning, and then he clothe himself in Flesh and dwelt among us, because no one could look upon his true face and live, Exodus 33 20. When you read Colossians 2 9 "For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily ". This does not say that Jesus dwelleth in the Godhead with two other beings. This states that in Jesus within him dwelleth the fullness of the Godhead Bodily. If you read over under the scriptures Acts 2 then you will read further explanation of the oneness of God. Jesus is God manifested in the flesh and he holds three offices or titles, but his is one being.

"And God said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle " Genesis 1 26 "In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD..... And the WORD was made FLESH, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. " John 1 1,14 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost and these three are one. " 1 John 5 7 In the beginning when God created the heaven and earth he was talking to someone else "Let US make man into OUR image. " The pronoun is in plural form. Hence, Jesus is not Father neither the Father is called Jesus. Much more the Holy Spirit is Jesus nor the Father John 14 16 . There is One God and 3 persons whether accept it or not it is the whole truth from the scripture.
  • Nomvelo on Hebrews 1 - 10 years ago
Jesus Christ is the Image of God, His word is God 's word, His works are God 's work. God calls Him MY lORD MY God. hence there is no one greater than God, God swore by Himself because there is no one greater than He. Jesus Christ is my God 's God and Lord, He is my God as well and there is only ONE God.
  • Stacy on Hebrews 1:8 - 10 years ago
Son, the Throne I God the Father have given you at my right side is forever going to be a scepter of righteousness in your, my sons ' kingdom which is everything I, God the Father created. It is not Jesus ' WILL that things be this way it is Gods ' WILL that is going to be Done. Jesus is the WAY, TRUTH, and LIGHT of all the creations of his Father God. Ask yourself, the WAY to where, the TRUTH is the Word of GOD, God is LIGHT. The WAY to GOD the father has to be the answer. Jesus is the Example of how to reach the Father, the Son of the Father God. Keep them separated and show them all three Father, Son, Holy Ghost the respect and reverence they deserve. Just as taught throughout the rest of the TRUTH.

This is to rev Autrey, In the original Greek scriptures it reads you have loved righteousness and hated wickedness therefore Jehovah, your God, set you above your companions meaning Jesue was exsulted higher than angels anointing him with the oil of joy or by making him Christ. Jesus never calls himself God. God knew he was his son. The angels new he was the son. The demons know he was the son of the most high. When Jesus asked his disciples "who do you think I am? ", even Peter said "you are the son of God. Trinitarians, get over it!

The book of Hebrews is an amazing book that confirms the authenticity of God in the person of Jesus Christ. The book of revelation is again the revelation of Jesus to whom none can compare.
