I never payed attention to the edge of the page during my reading on this link, strange enough this morning was reading Proverbs 31 and at end I saw "Discussion for Proverbs 31 View Comments" then pressed on comment just by curiosity, I saw your message.
I understand why you feel worried. Wanting marriage is natural, and it's okay to feel discouraged sometimes when this is taking time. Please allow me to remind you of the character of GOD: GOD is faithful, intentional, with a perfect timing; GOD doesn't withhold good things from His children ( Psalm 84:11).
Psalm 37:4-5 - "Delight yourself in the Lord He will give you the desires of your heart."
Isaiah 41:10 - "Fear not, for I am with you"
Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in the Lord with all your heart"
You might feel behind; allow me to remind you that waiting is not wasted time. GOD often uses preparation before promotion.
Many strong Christian marriages happen later rather than earlier. This season may be shaping you into the husband you are meant to be. Sometimes GOD develops us privately before blessing us publicly. This period might be strengthening qualities you'll later be grateful for. Isaiah 34:16; Genesis 2:18 are your portions.
Please have in mind you are valuable, purposeful, and complete in GOD; Marriage is a blessing, but it's not what makes you worthy or whole. Your identity doesn't depend on your marital status.
I'll hand you my little help by prayer as you requested.
LORD, give our brother Jonathan Grove peace in his heart. Remind him that You hold his future, and Your timing is perfect. Prepare the right relationship for him and prepare him for it. Remove fear and replace it with confidence in Your love. Amen
Brother Jonathan Grove I'm here for you. You don't have to walk through this by yourself.
After the downfall and various diaspora of Israel to the winds (Babylon; Assyrian and Persia) following Solomon's rule; the Lord still had plans. He even gave the land a rest from the wickedness for 70 years ( 2 Chronicles 36:21). God's ways are mysterious.
We see that He has provisions for the birds of the air ( Isaiah 34:11; also in Revelation 19). This is part of His covenant as it were with all of nature; which instigated with the rainbow in Genesis after the flood; so perverted as a symbol of rebellion today.
Daniel would see the fulfillment of the promise of Israel beginning it's return after living out the entire 70 years of prophesied captivity in Babylon. We see the theme over and over in regard to those who are chosen of God being promoted in foreign lands with Daniel; Esther; and Joseph. With the return promised Daniel still asked the Lord to overlook the sins of himself as well as the entire nation; not taking anything to chance. We see like prayers in both Nehemiah 9 and Ezra 9 as we do in Daniel 9 which is interesting. The eventual return to Isreal would be a long and drawn out process to build the city from ruins and the Temple as well as getting many to leave the foreign lands where they were comfortable in their surroundings; no doubt.
God was beginning to show signs; as it were of His plan to eventually come up with a new covenant where men's hearts would be forever changed. Ezekiel discusses a heart turned from stone to flesh ( Ezekiel 36:26); and Jeremiah 31:31-34). Again it was only the Lord who would eventually seal us with His Spirit as a down payment as it was for our souls ( Eph. 1:13; etal).
The law was to be given it's full meaning through Christ as we will discuss in further posts.
The great "parenthesis" as it were for the church age between Daniel 9:26 and 9:27 when the Antichrist makes the first seal agreement with Israel (see Rev. 6:1; Isaiah 28:15) is left out of the O.T. a mystery.
20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of GOD should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of GOD cometh not with observation:
21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of GOD is within you.
22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
23 And they(WHO ARE THEM?) shall say to you, See here; or, see there(SEE WHOM? JOHN 5:43-47, A FALSE MESSIAH? AN ESOTERIC AND KABBALISTIC AND SPIRITIST FALSE MESSIAH-son of perdition?2Thes.2:2-12): GO NOT after them,NOR FOLLOW THEM.
24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his Day.->WHAT DAY? Now, now, the seventh and last Day, or seventh and last millennium, the millennium of Christ.
25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. --> Terrible, very terrible.
GOD BLESS,
And our Lord JESUS warned us, saying: Luke 17:26-27
26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat,
they drank,
they married wives,
they were given in marriage,
until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Revelation 11:15 & 18
15...The kingdoms OF THIS WORLD are become the Kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
18 And the NATIONS (ALL NATIONS) were (will be) ANGRY, and GOD's WRATH comes, similar to the WRATH as was in the flood, but now, in the ends of the times, it's by FIRE--> Isaiah 33:10-14 and Isaiah 34:1-4.
Jer. Ch.23 is written to pastors and prophets, in verse 36 it says And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every mans word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God. The word perverted is #2015 in Hebrew, it means to turn about or over, ((to change)), overturn, pervert.
i strongly believe the KING JAMES VERISION is the holy word of GOD all the other verision are of the devil. There can only be one bible Jesus said I am the Word The Truth and the Light all singular not plural so there can only be one Bible and GOD said I will preserve my word so I am sure he did
Sorry but I made a mistake in answering your question.
I gave you the rapture when your question was "How will our LORD God remove the evil this time which has more than likely repented(grieved) Him?"
The rapture is when Christ comes for his Church. as mentioned here in
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
We will be removed from the wrath.
The wrath of God comes upon all the Inhabitants of the Earth.
Isaiah 24:1-23.
Isaiah 34:1-17.
Zephaniah 1:14-18
Many other references.
NOTE: God's children is never called Inhabitants of the earth.
But we are not appointed to wrath.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-9.
Now as far as removal of evil, this will happen following the rapture and the 70th week of Daniel. "7 years tribulation period" with the last 3 and a half being the great tribulation.
Note: "There will be people getting saved during this period "
Satan will be chained a thousand years and Christ will rule here on earth with a rod of Iron sitting on David's Throne. This is the Millennium kingdom.
Then the devil will be loosed and deceive the Nations again.
Then comes the wrath of God and the removal of Evil as you asked.
This is what's mentioned in Matthew 13:36-43.
In Matthew 13:41 notice that the unrighteous is gathered. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
This Parallels with
Matthew 24:36-51.
These are taking away for judgment.
No removal of saints/Rapture here in these verses! It's the removal of the unrighteous.
We are reminded in this Psalm a type of admonition that those who see God's wrath in the Tribulation and beyond in Isaiah 33:14 where it is said with fear "who can dwell with everlasting burning?" That; no doubt will be the result of viewing what is seen in the end of Isaiah 66; as well as the state of the land which becomes everlasting pitch in Isaiah 34:9. There will also be fire at Armageddon and the world will be aware of Antichrist's and the False Prophet's judgments at the end of the Tribulation. We are reminded that the wicked will not stand at the judgment in Psalm 1:5.
We see many characteristics of the 10 commandments here in these short verses. We see loving our neighbor in verse 3 (and verse 2 surely implies an attitude of loving God in all ways as the first commandment requires). We also see how other things like vows are kept; that would be the meaning here and we must remember at least in N.T. times that we are not to communicate beyond "yea and nay" whenever purely human agreements are made. ( Matt. 5:34). Such things between God such as marriage vows; and other promises are to be kept and we can see one painful example in Judges 11:36-39. We also see in verse 4 having the fear of the Lord which of course is the beginning of wisdom and found in numerous scriptures.
Finally; we see a statement on usury (charging interest on loans). This was warned against the Jews doing this to their own people in Leviticus 25:35-38. This of course would put many banks out of business today but of course anything like this makes the poor worse off and the rich gaining more for their own selfish interests. We may not be able to help what banks do but in our own loans we can.
The rest of the book discusses the return of Christ with His saints; and the capture of the Beast; False Prophet and Satan (without stating who places them in their respective places of punishment although the next chapters show an angel has sealed the bottomless pit).
There is a feast prepared for the birds of the air (v. 17-18; v. 21). God has in Isaiah 34:11 and other verses clearly considered the unclean beasts and provided for them richly (despite being unfit for man's consumption). Those who are animal lovers may not appreciate the fact that they will either be present at the wedding feast of the Lamb or themselves be part of the supper of wild beasts. No doubt these creatures will be starving themselves by this time and God isn't going to let a good meal go to waste. We should ponder this; those who are evolutionists and realize that in light of Ecclesiastes 3:19 that unregenerate men are no better than animals as to our fate. The soul of animals may go down into the earth (see verse 21 two verses later); but man is the only creature subject to eternal damnation and suffering as we see again in the same chapter; verse 11 where "eternity is put in their hearts."
The last verse in this chapter; verse 21 shows the rest of man in the battle slain with the sword (see Malachi 4:1; Psalm 2; etal). They will be placed in Sheol; the "holding place" for the damned until their turn for the lake of fire. Undoubtably their involvement in this battle and enticement by demons means that they have taken the mark of the Beast. If for some reason someone is missing arms and or has a head injury and can't take the mark the image will be worshipped which basically amounts to the same punishment.
In God's Providence He shortens the days or no flesh would survive (or be saved); see Matthew 24:22. There are interesting studies as to the mention of horses (verse 18) which also are seen in Ezekiel 38. I prefer to take that literally.
JEREMIAH 50. There has been much contention as to the national depiction of the final Babylon; and whether it is in the Middle East; it signifies the USA or perhaps the EU. There is a spiritual side and economic leadership aspect to it as well. Certainly; we here in the good ol USA have sins piled high to heaven as Revelation states. In some sense; it doesn't matter as man will be as Isaiah 13:12 states "rarer than the gold of Ophir". Dead men; i.e. corpses will be covering the earth ( Jeremiah 25:33).
There is no doubt that we are heading to one world government and religion; and I doubt that I need to include proof here.
Even in utter destruction where no man will inhabit the land; God in His providence provides a place for unclean animals ( Isaiah 34:11). Such is the case also with the "feast" of Armageddon. The birds of the air are summoned; and no doubt hungry after the Tribulation. ( Rev. 19:18; 21). So in essense we either attend a great supper or we ARE the meal; for a large portion of men in those days.
There are many good books on the subject. Alexander Hislop wrote "Two Babylons" which gives some context for these concepts. There are more recent writings where a strong argument based on many verses in Jeremiah seem to point to the USA being referenced in a veiled manner. The main points would be a nation founded on the truth yet with an occult bend from it's origin; a melting pot of many nations divided by many rivers and surrounded by many oceans; the port Babylon in NYC (where the Statue of Liberty kind of represents the lady in Revelation and the great city destroyed the world mourns after; etc.)
There are also compelling arguments of the Arabia area today where the 3 Monotheistic religions are planning joint worship and a city 30 times larger than NYC with drones prevailing are upcoming the next few years. Whatever the case; our hearts are not to be in the world where things are perishing but in the unseen treasures of God.
Where will the saints be, while Satan is imprisoned 1000 years? Why does Jesus take His saints to heaven in the "Rapture."
2 Peter 3, explains this. Isaiah 34:4 explains this.
After Armageddon, the Big Cleanup will commence. Why does it say Satan, etc will be locked up in hell one thousand literal years? Then Satan is released a short time to tempt those that survived the Tribulation. Later moved to the Lake of fire permanently?
We'll be in Heaven while God is restoring Eden to the earth. Where else would we be? We are the Bride of Christ.
It confuses the Christians when you say they go through the Tribulation. Why all the CAUGHT UP IN THE CLOUDS references?
I had a very anointed Pastor in Tulsa. Years later after I moved to Austin, I found out he had turned completely Apostate. He's on YouTube teaching perverted subjects condoning homosexuality; teaching There Is No Hell. He lost his church. Half of his sheep followed him.
Be careful what you teach. Why? God will judge us for lost sheep and lambs.
Thanks so much Richard . I really appreciate your time and effort with these Isaiah posts . Just because you don't get much feed back please don't think you are wasting your time because you are definately not . I love the Old Testament and you have shed a bright light on one of my favourite books in it . Can I request ? Zechariah next ? Please ? Yes , I am cheeky .
This entire chapter; clearly is a description of the events of Armageddon; and the geographical changes on earth immediately afterwards. The destruction of nations in verses 1-8; and the horror of pitch and brimstone showing an opening to hell in verses 9-10. The rest of the chapter illustrates what Rev. 17 states; with the destruction of Babylon and Rev. 19 with all the birds gorging on the feast the Lord provides (the dead carcasses). For anyone who says God doesn't have a message about his care for animals; this certainly rebuffs it. The conditions will be suitable for the unclean birds and God even ensures "not one of them shall want her mate" in verse 16. Everything has its place; and along with the always visible reminder of the previous destruction will be a restored earth suitable for life to flourish and God's redeemed to live. Revelation has parallel verses to this entire passage; but there are many other scriptures as well (Daniel; Zechariah; Jeremiah) as well as Psalms describing the same event. The controversy of Zion in verse 8 surely can be traced to Psalm 83 which likely occurs at the beginning of the time of Jacob's trouble. This chapter simply cannot match any event in the time of Isaiah 700 years before Christ came to earth. The whole book is interweaved between events in surrounding nations at that time; and in the future as well as Isaiah's own personal life. This shows irrefutable evidence of the inspiration of this text both to past fulfillments (including those of Christ's ministry itself reaching the Gentiles); and those yet to come.
Well said Charles. Our focus should be on our Lord Jesus and the Truth He is and the reality of His life, death, resurrection, and ascension and what all of this brings us who believe.
Is God real, is Jesus real, is the Holy Ghost real, is God's word real. It was a vision from a man who lived 2000+ years ago so how would he have explained say an airplane or a car or a rocket or missile. It all depends on whose interpretation of it is. but we know God's word is spiritual and we are carnal, but I can tell you this whether real or symbolic the destruction and the pain and suffering of God's wrath will be real and God swore the disobedient would suffer His wrath. God's wrath is what we are saved from, spared from when we are saved.
I love revelations it makes me want to do better, serve better and not fully knowing everything is why, the fear of the Lord leedeth to salvation.
Greek Mythology and Christianity - In Reply on Isaiah 34 - 4 years ago
In Greek mythology, Centaurus is the father of the race of mythological beasts known as the centaurs or Ixionidae. The Centaurs are half-man, half horse; having the torso of a man extending where the neck of a horse should be. They were said to be wild, savage, and lustful.
The head, arms and torso of a centaur were human and joined at the waist to the body and legs of a horse. They represented barbarism and unbridled chaos and were frequently represented in Greek architectural sculpture.
Mishael: the key word here is Myth-ology. It is not fact, not human. No bones found.
Precious friends, 'Which' Day are we, The Body Of CHRIST 'To look, watch, and wait for'?
Please prayerfully/Carefully Consider, for Encouragement and Comfort ( 1 Thessalonians 4:18)
The Day Of CHRIST:
"Mystery" CHURCH: Designated as the "Heavenly" Day of CHRIST, Which Will Be The Day Of the consummation of our salvation (into glorification!), And, Presenting of our "rewards!" (Phi 1:6; Phi 1:10; Philippians 1:6,10, Phi 2:16; 1 Corinthians 1:8, 1 Co 3:8-15; 2 Corinthians 1:14).
Rightly Divided ( 2 Timothy 2:15) From "Things That DIFFER!":
Day Of The LORD:
Israel's KINGDOM: Designated as the "Earthly" Day Of The LORD, which will be, first
of all, a day of Judgment to be followed by the establishment of the Kingdom!
( Isaiah 13:9-16, Isa 24:21-23, Isa 26:20-21, Isaiah 34:1-35:10; Isa 34; Isa 35:1-10; Ezekiel 30:3; Joel 1:15, Joe 2:1-11, Joel 2:1-11; Amos 5:16-20; Obadiah 1:15-21; Zephaniah 1:14-18; Zephaniah 14:1-21; Malachi 4:1-6; Matthew 25:31-46; Acts 2:19-21)
"Jesus, when he shall come again in his great day, will fulfill, finish and restore all things as God declared by the mouth of his holy prophets since the world began ( Matthew 5:17Acts 3:21Revelation 10:7 ), and so man will be delivered from death and corruption and restored into an incorruptible state. The temporal world also, on the great day of the Lord, will come to an end (and yet not pass into nothingness or be annihilated), for the world will be then changed by Christ and restored to an infinite state, in which it will remain for ever and ever, according to the teaching of the holy scripture. "The Lord cometh to judge the earth; he shall judge with his truth" Psalm 96:13.
How shall the world be judged? By being changed, as David writes concerning heaven and earth: "Of old thou has laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the work of thy hands. They shall perish, but thou shalt endure; yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shall thou change them, and they shall be changed." Psalm 102:25-26 . So will heaven and earth be changed in the judgement when Jesus shall appear in his great day, in the final fulfillment and consummation of all things. But how shall the heaven and earth be changed? The change will be according to God's word, as he declares through Isaiah: "It is the day of the Lord's vengeance, and the year of recompenses for the controversy of Zion..." Isaiah 34:8-10 ".
Greetings Shannon, by no means do I believe in what I am telling you concerning a "Lilith" in Judaism.
The word Lilith appears 1 time in the King James in Isaiah 34:14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest. (the king James translators used screech owl for Lilith)
In the Jewish encyclopedia: Lilith was the first "wife" of Adam prior to Eve, she left him cause she did not want him to be "on top" and she went to become the wife of samael. Where do they come up with this stuff? Only in the minds of certain Rabbis as it is NOT in the Bible. This is why Paul wrote in Titus 1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
Wiccans (witches) revere Lilith as the queen of demons and even have festivals in her "honor"
I am not sure where you came across this name from, but I would stay away from it as it is steeped in the occult.
I came out of the new age and went to Bible college and did studies on the occult. This stuff is evil.
Lilith, as a person, is a figment of the imagination of some Rabbis. Look into the jewish encyclopedia if you really want to know.
Titus 1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
in the KJV the word "SCREECH OWL" comes from the word Lilith. but the interpretation is used different in occult circles.
Isaiah 34:14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.
Some rabbis claim Lilith was the first wife of Adam, prior to Eve. Other Rabbis claim she is a demoness who sucks life out of children.
When one must come through the water to be saved, it is not talking about baptism; it is talking about the water in the womb.
Christ says to be Baptized, but one can make it to heaven if he or she is not baptized. The act of baptism is the acknowledgment of the Lord going into the tomb and being resurrected after three days. If you are not able to be baptized you will not necessarily be lost.
I agee Bruce with all that u said so many people now think they are SAVED but they don't want to become saved like the. Bible. Tells us.these are the days of sorrow u will no them by their fruits
Only Jesus can deal with these cold hearted people of today it so sad every one think they are going to heaven because they go to Church
When a Person is Born-Again, It's Life Changing. Not eventually or Later Down The Road. Many Wake-Up in The Morning to a Whole New World.Their Sins have Been Washed Away by His Blood(Revelation1:5) They have Been Baptized with The Holy Ghost.Mark1:8/ Many Told me They Prayed a Prayer or Baptized: But No Change They Think There Saved, By Their Fruit You will Know: Matthew 7:16-23, Are You Changed
It's Simple when Believed on Isaiah 34 - 7 years ago
To Matt (and Tochi). Matt, where do U find this "accept Christ into your heart" as all one must do to be saved? U mention repent (turn away from sin) but Jesus said U must also be born again of the water and the spirit. Please read Romans 6th chapter and 1st Peter 3:21. Colossians 2:11-12; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16...Baptism is where a repentant sinner meets the blood of Christ to be saved
I think its a wonderful book of the BIBLE it is enlightening to the reader as to what is to come so we should really take heed as to what it is telling us ,an get closer to the LORD
To Ova
God is here saying through Isaiah that He has assigned the land of this particular nation to be occupied by the beasts of the forest as their portion and their dwelling place He has marked land out as a surveyor does. The beasts are those referred to in the previous verses.
ok verses 11 - 14 are not about demons this whole chapter is a prophecy foretelling what will happen to this world in the end . How all the kingdoms of earth will be utterly destroyed and left desolate . a habitation for different animals to gather and nest just as they do when any dwelling place is abandoned.
Glory be to GOD.
I tap amen to your prayers.

Then the devil will be loosed and deceive the Nations again.
Then comes the wrath of God and the removal of Evil as you asked.
This is what's mentioned in Matthew 13:36-43.
In Matthew 13:41 notice that the unrighteous is gathered. The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
This Parallels with
Matthew 24:36-51.
These are taking away for judgment.
No removal of saints/Rapture here in these verses! It's the removal of the unrighteous.
The rapture It has already happened.
Sorry for all the confusion.
God bless.
I love revelations it makes me want to do better, serve better and not fully knowing everything is why, the fear of the Lord leedeth to salvation.
The head, arms and torso of a centaur were human and joined at the waist to the body and legs of a horse. They represented barbarism and unbridled chaos and were frequently represented in Greek architectural sculpture.
Mishael: the key word here is Myth-ology. It is not fact, not human. No bones found.
Lots of movies made, though.

"Jesus, when he shall come again in his great day, will fulfill, finish and restore all things as God declared by the mouth of his holy prophets since the world began ( Matthew 5:17 Acts 3:21 Revelation 10:7 ), and so man will be delivered from death and corruption and restored into an incorruptible state.
Christ says to be Baptized, but one can make it to heaven if he or she is not baptized. The act of baptism is the acknowledgment of the Lord going into the tomb and being resurrected after three days. If you are not able to be baptized you will not necessarily be lost.
Only Jesus can deal with these cold hearted people of today it so sad every one think they are going to heaven because they go to Church
God is here saying through Isaiah that He has assigned the land of this particular nation to be occupied by the beasts of the forest as their portion and their dwelling place He has marked land out as a surveyor does. The beasts are those referred to in the previous verses.
