There is no mention of the sundial. Which is the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY directly above us at all times.

ALL, is not written in the scriptures , Father of Lights , is not Father of ALL lights, or ALL would have been written.

The consuming light, is not all lights

The light of the world, is not all lights of the world.

This is not the light of the world. Is not all lights. And is not referred to as all lights.

For the 1st time I thought of a "worldly answer " to this question as I saw your question & was beginning to read the response. So, I thought I should share my thought. The bigger the 'free' gift in this world the bigger the responsibility= a baby, a car, a house, property as land, a boat. Every gift has to 1st be received then there's caring for or neglecting the gift/s. Even small gifts like a card, pan, food, potted flowers or pet. Each can be little or much obligation. How then do we think there could be no obligation to salvation? Even a gifted vehicle needs gas & care in driving it or it's useless in the world. I first thought of a vehicle, but then house property etc. Even in this world if 'gifts' aren't tended to they not only can be lost, they can, when not properly maintained cause much damage & loss to others. Like negligence causing fire, in a house, car or property. With Salvation GOD even mentions how our tongues can be. James 3:5-18, James 1:26-27,

James 1:17, yet GOD's gifts are perfect. Unlike our worldly gifts.

Cecil, GOD is Just. Have you heard of Moses? In Genesis, Abraham was promised several amazing things, a son from his 'wife', in their old age, etc. Gen. 12:2,3,7, but also that those heirs would be servant in strange land & afflicted 400 yrs. Genesis 15:12-13, if you read in depth you can find GOD's justice. Genesis 12:10-17, Genesis 16:1-16, Genesis 21:9-19 = it was in Egypt, Abraham's children of Sarah's son Isaac's offspring were afflicted.

Genesis 18, shows great mercy of GOD that if 10 righteous were in that land (Sodom & Gomorrah) it would've been spared. That's his Nephew Lot's friends & family. ?, Right here is proof the GOD interecedes on People's behalf when they obey HIM.

GOD's ways are not our ways, Isaiah 55:8,9,

We cannot blame GOD for wickedness of man = Genesis 6:5-6,

Yet GOD shows us mercy & unimaginable love, John 3:16-17, salvation through sacrifice, Psalms 18:25-27,

GOD is merciful, true & Just. If you read the books that go alongside Isaiah you'll get a clearer picture: 2Chronicles 36, Jeremiah 29, Jeremiah 51, Exodus 22:22, Isaiah 1:17, Isaiah 1:23, Jeremiah 7:6, Jeremiah 22:3, Ezekiel 22:7, Malachi 3:5, Zechariah 7:10, you can start with those verses because that's most of what GOD asked of Israel & Judah. Then please read the Books & chapters.

It is the greatest actof courage and love that you can show God.Christians who have been martyred for their faith throughout history will not only be given this crown of life, but other rewards once they enter into heaven. Hi Adrian. I believe that is correct in so far as, that sickness, pain & suffering come to all of us without exception, because we are a spiritually & morally fallen race. The moment we are born into the world with sin's nature having taken root & hold upon us, sin's course ultimately leads to death. And in that process of a gradual weakening & failing of our body's organs, we prove that in spite of any spiritual re-birth or discipline to holy living, ultimately the sin that grips our body will have the last word. I know that all this sounds very morbid but all of us are subject to the same end: that which is the outcome of sin ( Romans 6:23; James 1:15; Romans 5:12).

Yet, you might be thinking of a person's particular suffering or sickness (e.g. Job - which was a specific instance of God's Permission given to Satan to test Job's character & faithfulness; & maybe God stills allows this today- I can't tell). Yet we also know that God does discipline His child who wilfully continues in sin, not receiving correction ( Hebrews 12:5-11; Revelation 3:19; 1 Corinthians 11:32; Psalm 94:12,13). But His discipline comes in various ways & degrees of severity, as a father would mete out to his erring child. So the bottom line could be expressed as: if we were NOT sinners, living in all purity & holiness before God, there would be no physical sickness coming upon us, nor would there be need for any correction or discipline by God or man. But we should be cautious in trying to interpret every sickness or hardship being the result of some spiritual or moral failing - not always, but sometimes - each one will know in his heart from whence this comes.

I can truly testify that no matter how bad a thing is that you do (I've done worse) God is faithful and just to forgive us and he never gives up or abandons us in those dark moments of our lives. Never give up and never give in to evil because we have a hope that passeth all understanding and I'm still trying to under stand why God chose a retch like me. When you read some of the scriptures Jesus spoke WOW he had a forgiveness and understanding of the poor and the troubled and Jesus loved us before we loved him. Read fast pray and serve the Lord your God that's the true riches of this life. of your faith hope and Charity charity is the greater that's is astonding to me. greater than our hope in Jesus grater than our faith in Jesus and charity isn't love it's the manifestation of love.

Genesis 1:26, "let them" & please note "dominion over fish of the Sea" so why would he put 1 man 1 woman into a garden HE made after HE told them to take dominion? If you read with Wisdom from GOD as given by asking GOD: James 1:5, You will find GOD is the same yesterday today & forever, Hebrews 13:8, Numbers 23:19, Titus 1:2, GOD does not lie nor tempt people to sin: James 1:13, 1Samuel 15:29, never said that was ok, it's contrary: Leviticus 20:17, Therefore understanding GOD's nature read again. Genesis 1:26-29, Genesis 2:7-8, Notice there is distinction between formed here. The Garden may be representative of the Church notice also the command given to the 'man Gen 1:27-28, yet this man was left alone, Gen 2:15-23, Explain Gen 4:14-25, without other people. Please also ask yourself honestly: would parents actually give a daughter to a murderer? It really takes more fake faith to believe the lies of perversion! Those lies have no scripture support!

It's simple to get saved, but the process of sanctification is hard. Before I elaborate, I assume you're referring how a sodomite can get saved; "gay" biblically means cheerful, "sodomy/sodomite" means those who practice same sex fornication.

You meet God in his own terms:

1.) You have to be in a broken and contrite state.

Psalms 51:17 "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise."

2.) You call upon Jesus to save you.

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

3.) Put your faith in the Lord. (Take note that the eunuch called upon the Lord, he didn't just believe his way to salvation)

Acts 8:37 "And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."

If you followed these steps, then you are saved; you will have assurance of your salvation as it'll come through chastening, if you don't have any chastening in your life, then you're not saved.

"If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?"
