But if one considers that oil means light and light means knowledge, than the oil of joy is the gift of God granted to those who seek him. Many believe the oil represents the anointing of the Holy Spirit. This wasn't granted till after our Lord was risen ( John 16:7, 20:22). So this chapter and 62 could be prophetic of our Lord pouring out God's grace on his people.

All True Believers will have Tribulation. Wrath is for nonbelievers. 4 Seals have been opened. They have been handed 25% of the planet. Many Believers are jailed, tortured beheaded on the other side of The Planet.

John 16 is prophetic of a Child that is in our near future, A baby Christ,HE is telling em that they are gonna travail in child birth via his seed,B/C i have spoken these WORDS ( his seed ) SORROWS HAS FILLED YOUR HEARTS,BUT AFTER THE CHILD COMES SHE REMEMBERS NO MORE THE SORROWS, THE CHILD IS THE H.G. THATS Y HE IS SAYING THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT IS SPIRIT, SHE BROUGHT FORTH A MAN CHILD.

IMO this passage is prophetic of the last days when we will birth a baby christ BY HIS SEED WHICH IS HIS Words. B/c i have spoken these Words,HIS SEED sorrows have filled your hearts Our hearts is like a womb where that good seed has to be sown resulting in a birth of Christ in us, the SON OF MAN I.E OUR FRUIT A BABY CHRIST,BUT AFTER SHE IS DELIVERED OF THE CHILD SHE REMEMBERS NO MORE THE SORROWS.

I AM SO GRATEFUL THAT JESUS KEEPS IT REAL FOR US BELIEVERS! HE NEVER SUGAR COATED HIS MESSAGE TO APPEASE PEOPLE! HE NEVER TOLD US THAT LIVING IN THIS WORLD WOULD BE EASY CAUSE OF ALL THE TROUBLE IN THE WORLD CAUSE OF SIN! BUT HE DID PROMISES US PEACE IF WE REMAIN IN HIM!

George; "The kingdom of God comes not with observation; neither shall they say, Lo, here, or, Lo, there; for behold, the kingdom of God is within you." The world doesn't want to prepare themselves for the coming of the LORD; but instead to make themselves a king and a world system after the vanity and wickedness of their own evil imaginations; and the LORD has rejected the generation of His wrath.

All these need to be translated into dynamic physical activity, thus preparing the world for establishing the God-government on Earth.

To Insight777 - The comforter is not the bible. The comforter is the Holy Spirit which has been given unto us.

Ray: We are in The Tribulation. It started a few Thousand years ago.--In The World Ye shall have Tribulation---. John 16:33 /--- We Glory in Tribulations--- Romans 5:3. Tribulation is for The Saved. Wrath is for The Lost. No one knows when The Rapture happens. If We are here when The Wrath comes We will be Protected by The Blood. We Shall be Saved from Wrath through Him. Romans 5:9. We are assured by Jesus' saying in verse 26: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

V7, The Apostles said Jesus taught in parables. I think the Comforter is symbolic for the Bible.
The Bible is carried through the centuries for spiritual comfort and truth. Jesus gives us this path to follow him until the end of days. Jesus will return because God loves the human creation He made. Because of evil lust for power a great final war created by man destroys the earth and all on it.

disciple, so then apparently Jesus Christ was confused in John 14:26 when He said the FATHER would send the Holy Ghost and He must have corrected Himself then in John 16:7 when He said HE would send it instead? And in Matthew 18:20 apparently we are to expect Jesus Christ in the FLESH to sit with us as we gather and NOT the HOLY GHOST. And I'm twisting scriptures? Listen to JESUS CHRIST...

John 14:26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, WHOM THE FATHER WILL SEND..." John 16:7 "Nevertheless I tell you the truth....if I depart, I WILL SEND him unto you." Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, THERE AM I in the midst of them." JESUS CHRIST plainly identifies HIMSELF as all 3 manifestations. Go ahead
