About The Word of God not being Jesus Christ is your own belief. It is not from the pits of hell. Hebrews 1:1-4, Revelation 1:17-18, Revelation 2:26-27, Revelation 3:20-21, Revelation 19:11-16. We are to honor the Son the same way we honor the Father, John 5:21-23. The Messiah/Christ being the anointed one of God. ( 1 John 2:23-24.
Just to straighten up a little with reply about receiving the Holy Ghost. I never said my experience, or experiences, was "feeling peace". Me stating most people in the world would not believe my experiences is because they are supernatural things. It was not me who chose God, He chose me. I know not why. All glory be to Jesus Christ our Lord and our Father in Heaven.
I don't know of any Scripture of people receiving the Holy Ghost just by "feeling peace". Although I do know of one that doesn't state it was after a water baptism nor did they speak in tongues. Acts 11:11-18.
I hope our discussion shall keep you from discrediting other believers in the Lord just because they don't speak in unknown tongues. We should all try to help one another with our faith in the Lord. Hebrews 13:1-2.

I have received that this is speaking of the covenant Jesus Christ made and confirmed. After his 3.5 yr ministry, Jesus was killed and the veil was rent: causing the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and the Jews havent had a temple since, nor will they until the consummation (of the marriage of the bride) and that which is determined (the wrath of God) will be poured upon the desolate (the ungodly).
So yea, the great tribulation/time of Jacob's trouble will be 3.5 yrs (a time, times, and half a time or 1260 days- as referenced elsewhere in the book of The Revelation). As to the time of the catching up, we can see from Scripture that the Man of sin/son of perdition must be revealed first, as to when in the tribulation I believe is just speculation.

Psalm 2:7: This is one of many Messianic Psalms which have a reference to the coming Messiah (see also Psalms 8, 16, 22, 34, 35, 40, etc.). David would not have had full knowledge of what God had put on his heart to write, except that God did have a plan, that through David there would be in the future an everlasting kingdom ( 2 Samuel 7:12,13). Whether David felt there was some reference to him in Psalm 2:7, is not known, but he knew ultimately that these words did not apply only to Him but to Another, as we read the whole Psalm. Even the NT writers referred to it: Acts 13:33, Hebrews 1:5, Hebrews 5:5, indicating that they too saw Psalm 2:7 as ultimately referring to the Messiah. So, you're correct that it is God speaking to (or, inspiring) David to write the Psalm, but many Psalms & other OT writings are prophetical pointing to Jesus, as even Jesus Himself looked back at those prophecies that spoke of Him & urged others to do so ( John 5:39).
So no answer to my question of "where have you heard this"? Again, the Spirit of Truth, the Comforter, and the Holy Ghost are all spoken of as one in John 14. Also as I have stated that the word "ghost" and "spirit" are the same Greek word in the Greek texts. Just translated to two English words that mean the same thing. Is not the word Holy more important than "ghost" or "spirit"? If it is Holy it is from God.
So in places like Luke 11:13 is Jesus speaking of another "spirit or ghost" than in John or anywhere else? How's John 7:39? There are many other verses also that speak of "the Spirit of God" and the "Spirit of Christ" being in you after you are saved. Romans 8:9, ( 1 Corinthians 3:16, Ephesians 4:30.
Do you know of (1 John 5:7? Where it states the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost are one?

GOD did not make death, only "Love thy neighbor as thyself, 10 Commandments "Moses wrote of me" Saint John 5:46, & the Lord's Prayer, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven", proof by resurrected-ascent into heaven Son Jesus to live forever, eye witnessed, Saint Luke 24:51-53, is the same for "born again" Christians, Saint John 3:3-9.

Some believe that for Christians it's impossible to sin, which I think is a misinterpretation of the Bible that plays into the hand of the enemy. There are Christians who sometimes look at pornography- so does that mean that's not a sin, or some cheat on their wives- not sin? Some have probably even killed- not sin? Seems like a tough argument to make to claim that sin isn't sin. Or that Christians no longer have freewill to sin? We all likely know Christians who have drifted from the faith and have sinned or even denounced the faith.
Not sure if you believe this, but I think the belief of "impossible for Christians to sin" originates from 1 John in 1 John 3:9 and 1 John 5:18, but if you read the context it doesn't say what some are assuming it says. The keywords are who is born of God don't 'practice' sin. Genuine followers won't continue to sin on an ongoing basis.
If you read the whole book of 1 John it explains and shows the context, like right out of the gate in 1 John 1:8-10. So, which is it, can a Christian sin or not?
In chapter 3, it clarifies that its only those who follow commandments. So, an action is required for Christians. It's not like you already won and can disobey and do whatever sin you want. ( 1 John 3:23-24) says that to dwell in Jesus the Christian must obey. If it was a given (automatic) then Jesus wouldn't have kept telling his followers (Christians) to avoid sin. He absolutely pounded this message in them. A true follower should not sin, they should hate it and avoid it at all costs. Matthew 5:30, John 14:15. God bless.

These are scriptures of when the 3 persons of the Godhead were speaking to each other.
I was taught that Adams name means, Man. Eve's name means, Man with a womb.
Adam and Eve were of flesh, soul and spirit up until they ate of tree. Then the spiritual connection was severed.
By being Born Again, Jesus restores that spiritual connection through the Holy Spirit who indwells us.
John also states in John 10:27-29, "My sheep hear my voice and I know them; and they follow me. And I give to them eternal life; and they will never perish forever and not anyone will seize them from out of my hand. My Father who has given them to me is greater than all, and no one is able to seize them from out of the hand of my Father."
Jude states in his doxology in verse 24, "But to the one being able to keep you without stumbling and to set you before His glory blameless in exultation."
Paul in his writings emphasized the keeping power of God's Spirit in Ephesians 1:13-14: "In whom also after having heard the Word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, in whom also, after having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance, for redemption of the possession, for the praise of His glory."
He states again in Ephesians 4:30, "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." Probably one of the most powerful Scriptures of God's keeping power is Romans 8:38-39: "For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor powers, nor any thing which has come, nor things coming, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
The only way a person can be saved is by a spiritual birth from God; and the only way a person can keep his salvation is through the keeping power of God.
Many scriptures were written to show believers that some among them, who professed to be Christians, were actually not saved. John wrote I John so those who were saved would know that they have eternal life (1 John 5:13). In this letter, he listed many evidences, so that salvation could be proven among genuine believers.
These scriptures show that believers cannot be taken away from Christ by the flesh, because the Spirit of God is dwelling within to prevent that from happening.
Jesus Himself said, as recorded in John 6:37, "All that the Father gives to me will come to me; and the one coming to me I will never cast out." He goes on to say, in John 6:39, "And this is the will of the Father who has sent me, in order that of all which he has given to me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up in the last day."
Also, in His prayer to the Father, as recorded in John 17:11-12, Jesus said, "And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep through your own name those whom you have given to me, in order that they may be one, as we are. When I was with them in the world, I was keeping them in your name; the ones who you have given to me I kept, and none of them perished, except the son of perdition; in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled."
I emphasize the permanency of salvation because the bible teaches that God is the one who saves and He does so from out of His mercy. According to Paul, in Ephesians 2:8, grace, faith, and salvation are gifted from God.
John says, in John 1:13, believers "were born, not from blood, nor from the will of the flesh, nor from the will of man, but from God." Therefore, according to Scripture, a human being cannot save him/herself.
We also know from Scripture that no one can keep himself saved. John teaches, in 1 John 5:18 (as recorded in the oldest Greek manuscripts), "We know that everyone who has been born from God does not practice sin; but the one who has been born from God, God is keeping him and the evil one does not touch him."

These are but a few scriptures to support that the Holy Ghost is a distinct part of the Trinity of God.
As per your claim "The Spirit is not a person" it would be nice to see some scripture to support your view.

Those five Gospels are basically the same Gospel for the Jews. The twelve Disciples were commanded by Jesus, NOT to go to the Gentiles in Matthew chapter ten. The one exception was Peter was given the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven, (not the Kingdom of God) for the kingdom of God was taken from the Jews, and given to the Gentiles in Matthew Chapter 21:43. The reason the Jews had to admit that Jesus was the Christ, the Son of God, was because "He came unto his own, and his own received him not. " But as many Jews, that received him were saved; and about 3,000 were saved at Pentecost. Paul's Gospel is Different
I am so happy to hear you are reading the Bible...it can be quite challenging at times. The "Us" you are referring to if the doctrine of the Trinity. You may have also read it in Genesis 1:26 when God says "let us" and "our image". You will read it again in Genesis 11:7 when God says "let us". But the clearest picture of the Trinity and the Godhead is not given until the New Testament: 1 John 5:7: "For there are three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word (Son), and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. God is complex and it can really make your head spin trying to understand everything about Him, but He is triune; three in one; One God. We are made in His image; as such, we are also triune: Body, Soul and Spirit: " 1 Thessalonians 5:23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." This is called the "tripartite" nature of man. Much like the divine Trinity, the three parts of a human make one being.
To explain Genesis 3:15, the best way to read the verse in context...meaning understanding what is going in. The Serpent has just deceived Eve, who in turn deceived Adam. Adam and Eve had their eyes opened after eating the fruit from the one tree God commanded them not to eat from. God is now meting out judgement.
Genesis 3:15 "And I will put enmity (animosity) between you and the woman..." The Lord is speaking to the serpent (Satan), "...and between your seed..." (offspring or those who follow Satan) "...and her Seed..." (The Lord Jesus Christ) Christ "...shall bruise your head..." (the Victory that Jesus won at the Cross Colossians 2:14-15) , "...and you shall bruise His Heel..." the sufferings of the Cross.

So, if the 3 parts are one, and if there's only one God, then the 3 parts are not separate Gods, but part of the same one God. Just like the skin of an apple is an apple, and the core is an apple, and the seeds are an apple, it doesn't mean it's 3 apples, but the same one, just different functions.

As for the word "trinity" that's only a made up word to describe the concept the Bible already talks about. People in the Bible also didn't talk about going to the bathroom, but you can assume they did. It would be a logical fallacy to claim, aha! no one in the Bible ever talked about going to the bathroom, therefore no one ever did, ever. The word for trinity is only to make describing the relationship of God the father, the son, and the holy spirit more convenient in one word. But certainly no one has to use that one word, they can just quote scripture that says the same thing.
Beware that satan is going around to Christians and deceiving many with lies and distortions of the truth. If anyone gets confused, just read the Bible yourself and pray for understanding.
As I really can't speak for anyone but myself but I don't think anyone here believes in God being more than One. As you are not the only person but many people have a problem with the Father, Son(Word), and Holy Ghost. Being three but of One. Then saying you agree with verse (1 John 5:7 but not three persons is very confusing.
Maybe just one question I would start with is John 16:13. How could the Spirit of Truth(Holy Ghost) "not speak of Himself but whatsoever He shall hear" if it were the same "person". That verse would be an oxymoron. Along with many others of Jesus Christ(The Word) praying to God the Father along with God the Father speaking from Heaven down unto Jesus Christ numerous times.
So you saying "Definitely not and never" but agree with verse (1 John 5:7 could you please explain your view? Thank you.

My view of the true Christian's walk is not one of uncertainty, allowing for the possibility to veer off the path leading to Heaven, whether to exit off completely or to bring ourselves back onto the correct path. I understand, that to be a Christian has & will always be a work of God. If we fail to 'stay on the true path' preferring to exit off it, then we haven't been saved through the Cross, that we haven't come in true repentance & full faith but for some other reason (of which there are many). So the Scripture that tells us, "he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." ( Mt 24:13), is of course the ultimate proof of one's salvation but not to cause us to wonder whether we're actually saved in the meanwhile.
One of the greatest deceptions in Christendom is that of what all other religions preach: i.e. 'one cannot be certain of being acceptable to God & only the final day will reveal this'. The power of the Cross gives a sinner both a complete forgiveness of sins & also a certainty of Heaven - there is no possibility that whom God forgives, saves, seals & accepts as His very own, will ever be lost back into the world, nor would the Christian ever contemplate leaving what God has done in him. If the Christian should err into sin, he knows it & turns away - no Christian can live a life of sin - he would have to do a re-examination of his life or if he continues in disobedience, that he be "delivered unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." ( 1 Corinthians 5:5).
Scriptures are numerous which assure a Christian of the certainty of his salvation: not what he has done to get to God, but what God has done to secure a lost life. 1 John 5:13 is the surety we have to always belong to Him.
John 10:27-30; John 3:3,16,36; John 5:24; John 6:37,39; 1 John 5:13; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 1:13,14; Philippians 1:6; Romans 8:29,30,38,39.
But the long answer is found in the reading of the whole Epistle of John. I can't share it in depth, but if you read it carefully with some things in mind, you'll receive much confirmation & blessing to your heart. There are four main reasons the Apostle John gives for writing this letter: 1 John 1:4, "These things write we unto you, that your joy may be full"; 1 John 2:1: "These things write I unto you, that ye sin not"; 1 John 2:26: "These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you"; and 1 John 5:13: "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."
As you read this epistle, keeping in mind those four reasons for writing given by John (i.e. for the fullness of your joy, to abstain from sin, be aware of & reject false teaching, and to know for sure that eternal life is your possession both now & into eternity), the Spirit Who inspired these Truths, will confirm to your heart that what has taken place in your life, is not false or wasted, but done in God's Power & Plan for you. In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. ( 2 Timothy 2:25-26)
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. (1 John 5:18-19)
Jesus Christ came to redeem us from bondage to sin and the devil:
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. ( Titus 2:13-14)
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. ( 1 Peter 1:18-21)
