There's only 10 scriptures proving it.
However I found another one tonight.
Wow...eleven Holy Scriptures; Divine and Inspired. Written in the Bible on paper and not altered by people.
There are many false interpretations to be sure so don't rush into any of them .
The book of revelation is a revelation, so it unfolds it's self in time . Look at the Antichrist so many people speculate about it . But when the time is , it will be easy to understand and those that look to the word will do well . Others will have abandoned the word and be deceived.
I could say lots but this long already . Work on being faithful to what you know , Trust God with the unknown , He is already there .
Levitcus 20:7 reads Sanctify yourselves therefore, be ye holy: for I Am the LORD which sanctify(save, set apart) you.
james 1:25...But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
john 3:15-21...15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
It is my belief that if you have become a Christian (Link and genuinely following Christ then by definition you are Christian and are saved by grace and can have confidence in your salvation. 1 John 5:13. Hebrews 4:16, Philippians 4:13. I believe following Christ is an active pursuit and we always have room to grow and mature and be more like Him.
God bless...
We live in a fallen world that shows great contrast between good and evil. Ephesians 6:10-12. Satan is allowed to rule the world and there's plenty of evidence of that. 1 John 5:19
We are only on earth a short time and are given freewill to choose who we want to follow: Jesus or Satan. Most people choose Satan and his signature is lies. We see more lies and deception today than ever- a big one is the news media spreading complete lies that they know is untrue, but still they enjoy doing the work of the devil and they financially benefit from stirring up drama.
We have an election between a candidate that wants to mass-murder babies and give 8 year olds hormones to transition, vs. someone who is strongly against it, but strangely, many Christians have been deceived themselves into voting for mass murder- to destroy God's creation, somehow thinking it's a 'lesser evil', even though there is no greater evil than mass murdering babies- more than the holocaust just in the US and their hearts and souls cry out to God and God hears their cry and will seek justice. Many people have been deceived by the devil and don't even realize it.
If God didn't allow any problems and didn't allow us to be tested or to have a choice we might be robots in heaven. But that's not what earth is.
These are just my ideas to help answer your question. God bless you.
I'm wondering what your motive is for coming to a Bible website and accusing Christians who believe the trinity of being under a "curse"- something that most Christians believe in. Is that how you lovingly are looking to exchange information about the Bible to edify each other or are just looking to start a quarrel and do the opposite? Romans 14:19, Ephesians 4:32, Ephesians 4:29.
The reason people believe that God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Ghost) are one is that it literally says that in the Bible in 1 John 5:7 and elsewhere: Link
Do you think this is a salvation issue where someone may go to hell for believing the Bible verses such as 1 John 5:7 or why else are you so strong to condemn Bible believing Christians? What if someone accused you of what you're accusing others- that you yourself are spreading a "heinous doctrine" and are under a "curse," how would that make you feel and would it be true?
The end times is the final events of world history as we know it, punctuated by the rapture - tribulation - Battle of Armageddon - Christ returning - Satan being put into the pit - the 1,000 year millennium - Satan's release - Satan's final defeat - and mankind's final judgment, as expanded below. While many believe that these end time events are about to start, the truth is, we can only guess.
For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits [from the cross]; then, when he comes [the rapture], those who belong to him. Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power [after the 1,000 year millennium] ( 1 Cor. 15: 22-24).
The Rapture
The word "Rapture" does not appear in the Bible but is used by Christians to describe an end time event. Rapture comes from the Latin word raptus which means "seize," "snatch" or "take away." It refers to those who obey and follow Jesus being taken up to meet Christ in the air.
This is the first rapture. The time when all the saints through out history will rise to receive new eternal bodies combined with their souls.
For the Lord himself, with a cry of command, with the archangel's call and with the sound of God's trumpet, will descend from heaven, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air; and so we will be with the Lord forever ( 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
The exact details of the rapture remain a mystery; however, we know that we will be physically resurrected at the Rapture ( John 5:29; Acts 24:15; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

Please take this in all kindness, peacefulness, and gentleness. Where is the verse that says we need to believe Jesus Christ only began to exist when he was born on earth? Please don't come back at me and curse me trying to say only what you perceive is the truth. It seems different people have different ways of interpreting Jesus Christ. But if some of us are simply believing what John the Baptizer, Christs Apostles, and Jesus Christ Himself said in the Bible. Then you are simple not believing all of them either. And just want to believe in your own idea. Which really, to me, is fine. As long as we acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and the Messiah sent from our Father in Heaven. That died on the cross for our sins. Why so much going back and forth about this? We are not going to change our views(which is backed up by many Scriptures) and I doubt you are going to change your view.
So again please don't take this harshly by any means. Instead of arguing or telling other people they believe a lie from the devil. Maybe we should praise the Lord in some way. I'll leave this one verse for everyone. John 5:23 God Bless.
Isaiah 9:6
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Jesus Christ is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
John 1:1-18
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Thank you for your respectful reply. I appreciate that. Some people are just looking to start quarrels and fights, but I now believe that is not your motive, but that you actually believe what you said to be true.
It sounds like you justified your belief by admitting that you don't believe the entire Bible, specifically 1 John 5:7, which you attempted to discredit. I believe the whole Bible including 1 John 5:7 as God's Word so I do not believe what you wrote. I think the bulk of your belief hinges on 1 verse Isaiah 9:6 which you strip out all the other meaning to focus on one word then conflate that word with God the Father then assume they are the same. This involves some mental gymnastics to come to your conclusion and I will prove how this is a logical fallacy. First you ignore all of Jesus' nicknames listed but zero in on 'everlasting father'. You then drop off the first word and and focus only on 'father' then you realize that God the father also has the word 'father' in it and assume they are the exact same being, despite billions of other fathers also existing on Earth. Does that mean all instances of 'father' in the Bible automatically mean God the father? Like Genesis 2:24 means to leave 'God the father' then? Obviously not. Genesis 9:18 says Ham is the father of Canaan- does this mean he's 'God the father' too like Jesus? If using the same logic this one is more likely to be conflated with God the father, because it directly says 'father' not 'everlasting father'- the one of many nicknames for Jesus. And again, Jesus praying to God the Father actually happened, and so Jesus obviously didn't pray to Himself. So, I think your position is refuted with scripture and logic, but if you don't believe parts of the Bible as you admitted then I can then see how you arrive at this distorted interpretation. I appreciate you sharing your interpretation, but I don't believe it's true. Have you prayed about this, to ask God for the truth? God bless you.
I'm not sure what your motive is for coming to a Christian Bible website and calling something that most Christians believe in a 'falsehood'. Where is your proof that what you're saying isn't a falsehood?
The reason people believe that the Father, the Son (the Word, or Jesus), and Holy Spirit are one is that the Bible literally says that in 1 John 5:7. If you hover over the links you'll see it.
So, since the Bible already says that, the real question is why don't you believe the Bible verse 1 John 5:7?
If you're looking for other Bible verses that support that, here they are: John 10:30, John 1:1, John 1:14 (The Word is Jesus Christ)
It shouldn't be too much of a surprise when Christians believe literally what the Bible says, so if you don't that means you must have a different interpretation of it, right? Of course most do not interpret it the way you do.
You wrote: "Jesus Christ is the name of God the father"
I'd like to ask what Bible verses do you believe supports that idea and where does it come from? Jesus is the same God, but a separate being/entity than God the Father. If He was exactly identical then the Bible would not have separated them into 3 entities/personalities or called them separate names, and wouldn't have given the verses it did. Since Jesus prayed to God the Father, is it logical that Jesus was praying to Himself? Matthew 26:39 - He said 'let this cup pass from me... not as I will, but thou wilt." This verse refutes your claim that they are both Jesus Christ. Would any of Jesus's prayers make sense of He was praying to Himself?
God bless...

I agree that Cain inherited his sinful nature from Adam. Before Adam & Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good & evil they knew no sin because they were made in the image of God. It was only after they ate from the tree that they new good & evil.
Jesus is our role model on how we [should] live. [If] it was [impossible] for us to [sin no more] then Jesus wouldn't of commanded us to [do] it.
John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: [sin no more], lest a worse thing come unto thee.
John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and [sin no more].
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we [keep] his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
John 15:10 [If] ye [keep] my commandments, ye [shall] abide in my love; even as I have [kept] my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, [if] we [keep] his commandments.
Leviticus 22:31 Therefore shall ye [keep] my commandments, and [do] them: I am the LORD.
John 14:15 [If] ye love me, [keep] my commandments.
Leviticus 26:3 [If] ye walk in my statutes, [and keep] my commandments, and [do] them;
Numbers 15:40 That ye may remember, and [do] [all] my commandments, and [be holy] unto your God.
Deuteronomy 5:29 O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, [and keep all] my commandments [always], that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
Proverbs 7:2 [Keep] my commandments, and [live]; and my law as the apple of thine eye.
Exodus 20:6 And shewing mercy unto [thousands] of them that [love me], [and keep] my commandments.
Deuteronomy 5:10 And shewing mercy unto [thousands] of them that [love me] [and keep] my commandments.
Deuteronomy 11:27 A blessing, [if] ye [obey] the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Colossians 2:9
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
The Godhead speaking to each other, in Scripture:
Genesis 1:26, Genesis 3:22, Genesis 11:7
1 John 5:7, Book of John 10:30
Acts 17:27-30
The Godhead represents The Father, The Son of God, the Holy Spirit.
Comment: many people argue on this and this is a case of: Let God be true and every man a liar. Don't twist scriptures to validate your theories.
Jesus left heaven to come to earth and His name was the Son of man: fully God and fully human. He set aside his power to begin life as a baby, child and at age 30 he began his mission: to teach, make disciples, heal the sick, cleanse the leper's, cast out demons, doing good.
He was put on trial for blasphemy: saying he and His Father are ONE. He was judged and ordered to be crucified. He even saved one of the thieves he was crucified next to. Buried 3 days and then He walked out of the tomb! Many people went on record having seen him walking around after resurrection. It's recorded in the Bible and human history books. His ascension back into heaven was eye witnessed. Later, Jesus knocked Paul off his horse, blinded him but other people there HEARD an audible voice speak to Paul. It was Jesus!
Flash back to Pentecost: the Holy Spirit of God appears in the Upper Room as a roaring Wind and everyone receives His Baptism! It spills out into the street and everyone is hearing their own languages spoken! Many people were saved that day. He is spirit, so he is invisible; but unmistakably present in our world. He reveals Jesus to common people every day.
Life is EXCITING! Why would anyone turn down so great a salvation? Copy this down & preach it to family and friends.
Stop procrastinating!
M.
Hi again Claire. Thank you for reading that lengthy sermon - it was heavy going. I had to re-read it quickly to find the portion I think you're referring to. The part that seemed significant is:
"God cannot write his law in our inward parts till with water and with blood he has purged us. Tables on which the Lord shall write must be clean, therefore the heart on which God is to engrave his law must be a cleansed heart; and it is a great joy to perceive that from the person of our Lord heart-cleansing blood and water flowed, so that the provision is equal to the necessity. Blessed be the name of our gracious God, he knows how to erase the evil and to cleanse the soul through his Holy Spirit's applying the work of Jesus to us."
If this is the portion, then I don't believe Spurgeon is referring to water baptism or the requirement to be baptised first & then born again - that would be totally erroneous. His mentioning "water & blood" is his direct reference to 1 John 5:6, 7: "This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
There have been several interpretations of this "by water & blood". I feel it indicates Jesus' physical birth (water) & He speaks of this in John 3:5 & then the "blood": of His Sacrifice. Or, Spurgeon could even be recalling the water & blood that issued out of the Lord whilst on the Cross ( John 19:34). We're unclear but it wasn't anything to do with water baptism which can only be taken after first being born again by faith in Jesus's Sacrifice & the indwelling & renewal of the Holy Spirit.
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
1 John 2:22
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
Proverbs 17:4
A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.
1 John 5:10
He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth NOT... God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the TRUTH, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Proverbs 30:6
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through ME.
1 John 4:6
We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the SPIRIT OF ERROR.
Mishael: Don't try to reason with a witch. This is what they do: cause chaos.
We all know, or the ones this is pointed towards, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. "The firstborn among many brethren".
Just one question. You stated this "If you have a verse that proves Jesus Born in Bethlehem was in heaven before then you have a valid point." Is John 6:38-39 not enough? Which to me looks like the exact answer to the statement you made.
How's Revelations 19:13. That is supposed to be Christ at His second coming. Correct?
I'll state this. I believe it is quiet over simplified of people saying "Jesus and God are the same thing". I don't Believe that and don't agree with it. They most definitely are a part of one another. Jesus Christ even said in John 14:28 "I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." Many other things I could quote that shows they are unique to each other. But as in 1 John 5:7 "these three are one." The Father, the Son(or Word), and the Holy Ghost are all a part of the Eternal Godhead.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God that was born from a virgin, on earth, in the flesh, in Bethlehem. What about John the baptizer stating in John 1:15 "John bare witness of him(Jesus), and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me."
May the Lord Bless us to all come together and have faith and trust in Him. I would never call myself smart. All Glory to the Father. Love one another my brothers and sisters. God Bless us all!
Hebrews 7:3, speaking of Melchizedek, says: "but made Like unto the Son of God.."
John 1:1-5, 14 clearly shows that Jesus, the Word; was in the beginning with God.
Ephesians 1:4, 9-10
Proverbs 8:22-31
Psalms 33:6, Psalm 2:7
Colossians 1:16-19
Colossians 2:9
1 Corinthians 8:6
Note: the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed, declared Jesus Begotten: NOT made.
Not knowing the details of what you've shared, if it is at all possible to talk with that person about his lifestyle in light of what God requires of us. The fact that he has asked for prayer indicates a God-consciousness or a desperation for some answer or relief. So I would think that he would be open to listening to you about what sin is & how he must not continue in it.
If he is convicted by God's Word & desires to seek the Lord, you have a great opportunity to pray with him & for him. If he's not interested & just asking for prayer, I would tell him that I will pray but will also ask God to first speak to his heart in respect of his lifestyle as well as his need. The important thing here is that a right relationship to God is first needed. If he wants to have sin & also God's help with his matter, then you need to sense in your spirit whether such a prayer is appropriate.
As the Scripture says: God hears our prayers if we ask according to His Will - I believe the pressing prayer you could offer is for God's Spirit to convict him of his sin & lifestyle. You can tell him that you'll pray, if you feel you ought to, but that his heart's condition & lifestyle are more important than his other needs.
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the GODHEAD is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
THE GODHEAD SCRIPTURES
Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7
1 John 5:7.
John 10:30, I and My Father are one.
My favorite is Malachi 3:16-17. God listens when we talk together about Him.
Also, in these following scriptures , we clearly see the Godhead ( Acts 17:27-30) speaking to each other.
NOTE: In the King James Bible, the words , TRINITY and TRIUNE, ARE NOT used. Someone who was unable to teach LET US as a lesson, used these other words to describe, 'Three.'
If we used the Search Box provided on this website you would have seen it come up with No scriptures for Triune and Trinity. In the King James Bible the scriptures are what your search will fetch.
Mishael
1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." The "Godhead".
Hope this helps some. God Bless.
a. "How can one be lost if Jesus saves him? If Jesus saves (i.e. saved by having faith in Jesus' sacrificial work on the Cross & subsequently indwelt by the Holy Spirit), then no one, whether oneself, another, the Devil, can 'un-save' you. The problem arises when we see a believer, hear his testimony & see his new life, & we deem him a saved/born again person. But do we really know what happened in that encounter with the Spirit of God? Was there contrition for sin, true repentance, & a re-birth experience? We can never know, nor are we given such licence to do so - that is God's department. We are just to accept each other, love each other & encourage each other in our faith. So, the true believer cannot be lost & the test is his continual hatred of anything that smells of sin, his struggle against it as well as a great desire to please God & live for Him. If he wants to & relishes sin, then "by their fruits ye shall know them" ( Mt 7:20).
b. "Once ur saved aren't u saved eternally?" Yes we are because God's Spirit has done the saving & not man. Sometimes, the Gospel preacher can get so excited & proactive in sharing the Gospel, he won't stop until he gets a confession of sin & prayer of repentance from the unbeliever. We are to preach & persuade from the Scriptures & leave it to the Spirit to take over. So many of those are then convinced that they are now born again & end up derelicts in faith & their final end made worse than the beginning. The Scripture I often use in support is in 1 John 5:13: "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that YE MAY KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." We can know now - Today - that the salvation Christ has given us is real & the promise of eternal life is our possession now. There are many religions, including the RCs & Muslims, that have to wait for God's final judgement to know their destiny - Jesus makes it certain for us.
