Joshua Chapter 1 shows God 's timeless and unlimited love for those whose faith continues to be in Him and are obedient to wait for what he has in store for them. It is assuring and a blessing to know that God promise s never fails.

Joshua was very obedient for whatever God commanded Him to do...He did exactly that

It tells us to trust God, be obedient, and be blessed for having done so.

The word of God has taught me to be of good courage and to be strong for the Lord is faithful.

It 's True Frd

The ways of mennn is different from the way of the Lord. Walk in his way, work for his way, and you shall surely get to your beautiful destination by choice or by chance. Just obey when he calls obedience. Do not argue or complain, he will see you through.

Joshua obeyed the Lord and God used him to take tthe Israelites to the promised land. God has good plans for his children who obey him.

the word of God,makes us succesfu in our plans if we meditate it daily.

Be strong and of good courage. The Lord is always faithful. At times we run away from him and go into sinful ways. When we come back to him we find him faithful waiting and promising to be with us where ever we go.

When ever I read this verse my soul get revived. It motivate us to read the scripture always, Glory to the Lord.

THE BIBLE SAYS 'THY WORD HAVE I HIDE IN MY HEART SO AS NOT TO SIN AGAINST YOU ' WE AS A CHRISTIAN, WE SHOULD MEDITATE IN HIS WORD SO AS TO MAKE OUR WAY LAWFUL UNTO HIM. SHALOM!!!

PRINCIPLE "true success comes from true obedience "

Be strong and of good courage, do not be afraid, for the Lord is with you where ever you go. This verse has really ministered to my heart, because God is showing us that no matter where we go or what we are going through God will be with us always. Please pray that the Lord will continue to strengthen me as I walk in the way that is right and pleasing unto Him.

What does that mean? Like what the colonists did to the native americans? Do they get the land also by peaceful means?

Joshua was obedient to God and to Moses his spiritual father

In sense it is simply encouraging you to be strong and have faith in the Lord do not be afraid in doing things that are possible because your Lord thou God is with thee.

know who you are and whose you are. you're the head and not the tail you're above and not beneath,if God be for you who can be against you.

remember this one thing,we have to stand for something,or we will fall for anything.

The Rubenites, the Gadites and the half tribe of Manasseh kept their promise. Though they had got their inheritance before others, they did not change their minds. The men of war left their families behind to help their brethren get their own inheritance too through wars. It is good to keep our promise no matter what.

O.dear...when.did.god.promise.moses.about.giving.him.all.his.foot.sole.trod?

A charge by God to prepare Joshua 's Mind that except he is very courageous,the children of Israel 's act will definately cause him not to observe all that God commanded him as in the case of Aaron when Moses tarried before the LORD see Exodus 32 1 6 . Joshua 1 7 can also be explained in the light of Matthew 24 12 13.Except you are very courageous to do all that is written in the Holy scriptures,your Love will definately grow or wax cold by the attitude of Men even from those in the household of faith but he that is very courageous and focused and that will not commit himself unto men like the Lord Jesus John 2 24 ,such will be able to endure unto the end and be saved.

Our Father God will be with me at all times

No matter what God will not depart us.

The word should remain our daily bread and it gives us hope and life

To be dismayed is to have seen or been through a thing that has so disheartened you that you do not want to go near that again or even have to go through that thing again if your confronted with it again. The Lord says to be strong and courageous for He is with you withersoever you go. He is there to help you along. Believe and Trust Him to get you through.We do not have to fear.That does not mean that if your facing a sin and you yield to it that will ok it.

This word really touches my life knowing that whatever and no matter what i go through God would surely get me going by His grace am gonna go through untouched for He will be with me all through. amen

these words are very precious for my new life with all its weaknesses meaning because Jesus Christ was crucified shed His Blood for me and my old life has risen and lives
