Hello James Carlson, that's powerful. People suffer much from lies & much from believing lies. Your comment, speaks deeper into devastating "news" heard, effects from it. With wisdom you were shown this, insightful. I think it was a revelation to you personally & others that have been devastated by lies. The toll it can take on a person. However I agree with Chris, I think I would go further to say I think many loving parents would immediately run to their children to make sure the news was correct, to care for them even in death, cover them & give a proper burial, ect. Job was beyond average as a Parent in that: Job 1:5. He was very concerned for them to be right with GOD, that he would make sacrifice on their behalf. Like Earl, Gi Gi, mentioned, pointing to GOD's bigger picture of GOD's atonement for us through Jesus. That's probably why Job is sometimes called prophetic book. Interesting I hadn't seen that beforehand. Gi Gi, & Sacha have the most perfect point that it is most significant whoes report we believe, in that GOD says nothing shall harm you by any means. Luke 10:19. Knowing all things will work together for good._.._ Romans 8:28-29, Even in disaster & disastrous moments when we believe GOD, HIS WORD, HIS report we will be much better off in every way. Hebrews 12:26-29, we should not be as; Luke 21:26

Didn't read all comments, hopefully this is encouraging. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts & intellectual insight.

Luke 21:21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

Hi John, what an excellent question. I'm very interested to watch the answers. I believe one of the intents of this pandemic and the shot is to set people against each other. Jesus paid the full price for our salvation and for unity. I think of third John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. I believe the precious Spirit of God in you will give you the exact words each time ( Luke 21:14 & 15) and your knowledge and kindness will ad weight to the conversation. I was in a conversation lately and both of us us agreed that we will NOT comply with the shot, when a bystander jumped in accusing and ugly. The Spirit had me hold my tongue completely. I was reminded how the high priest used mob mentality to have our LORD crucified. Also the media and those that push it are doing a good job of inciting fear. 2Tim1:7. Our challenge is to stay sweet and trusting ( We have a great Savior who loves us and can handle everything) and give others space ( even to be wrong :)). Proverbs 15:1. God's blessing on this day. Oh I did suffer through the virus, God is good all of the time and has the best planned for us.

I believe this is a principal that is biblical when we look into GOD's promises, HIS WORD, the accounts where GOD moves in & stops evil, changes events that seem impossible, overcoming. Exodus, Genesis, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, Ester, etc.

    Mathew 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33, Psalm 37:1-40,

Yes, Jehovah ( psalm 83:18) prophesied or was revealing to Isaiah about Cyrus ( Isaiah 44:28)

he (King of Persia) helped rebuild Jerusalem ( Daniel 10:1). yes, if a prophecy hasn't yet happened... it will happen; and it will be fulfilled and accomplished. ( Isaiah 46:10,11)

    Fulfilled Prophecy:

    Destruction of Jerusalem 70 c.e ( Luke 21:5,6; John 4:21)

    Unfulfilled Prophecy:

    Revelation 18&20 ( 1John 5:19; Revelation 12:7-12)

You know a generation is roughly 22-33 years, or even a Biblical 40 years in the desert. So 1948 doesn't add up to the 5th trumpet description of war. No doubt WWI & WWII were both for the benefit of Israel, but 9/11 significantly stands alone.

The exact time anti-christ strikes is given ( Jeremiah 15:7). He is the spoiler at NOONDAY, 3 pm, the falling away when Babylon is taken with violence. In the self-same hour, Israel is taken under the cover of darkness, 11 pm local, following the ( Revelation 6:12) earthquake ( Luke 21:20-24). You got the season right, before the harvest.

You are better off discovering these truth on your own, not through worn out published theories. The truth is within you.

If we study the book of Daniel and Revelation also especially Deuteronomy 28 we will have to come to the only conclusion that the State of Israel is not the descendants of Ancient Israel. The Bible does not in the least support their claim. So who are these people that are being propped up by the West in particular the USA?

I read the guidelines for comments and agree with them, however one important point is missing honesty/truth.

I hope my comments are taken seriously and not dismissed as unimportant because I don't believe that that state is not of God.

    Hi Rick.

I hold the view that this is a future event,

Mid way through the tribulation period.

    Here's a Googled Discriptural outline.

Abomination of desolation"[Notes 1] is a phrase from the Book of Daniel describing the pagan sacrifices with which the 2nd century BCE Greek king Antiochus IV replaced the twice-daily offering in the Jewish temple, or alternatively the altar on which such offerings were made.[1] In the 1st century CE it was taken up by the authors of the gospels in the context of the Roman destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in the year 70,[2] with Mark giving Jesus a speech concerning the Second Coming,[3] Matthew 24:15-16 adding a reference to Daniel,[4] and Luke Luke 21:20-21 giving a description of the Roman armies ("But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies"); in all three it is likely that the authors had in mind a future eschatological (i.e., end-time) event, and the activities of the anti-Christ.

    ( Mid week tribulation. )

Daniel 9:27. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

This will be "LIKE" what happened by Greek king Antiochus IV. in 2nd century BCE.

    I hope this helps.

    God bless.

    John.

I don't see how you can associate "THIS THY DAY" and the days of thy PEACE With Revelation 18.

And In Luke 21 the desolation was the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.

But that's not the "ABOMINATION" of desolation.

Luke 21:20. And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Totally different than what's described here in Daniel , and what Jesus verified in Mathew.

No Image/idol is set up in the temple as described in Revelation 13. This is what Jesus and Daniel is talking about.

Matthew 24:15. When ye therefore shall see the ABOMINATION of desolation, spoken of by DANIEL the prophet, STAND IN THE HOLY PLACE, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Daniel 12:11. And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination THAT MAKETH DESOLATE SET UP, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

This will last 1290 days. That's 30 days past the 2nd half of the tribulation. There is no mention of that happening in 70 AD. as described in Daniel 12 as mentioned or here in Daniel 9.

Daniel 9:27. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: AND IN THE MIDST OF THE WEEK HE SHALL CAUSE THE SACRIFICE AND THE OBLATION TO CEASE, AND FOR THE OVERSPENDING OF ABOMINATIONS HE SHALL MAKE IT DESOLATE, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

    I leave off there,

I'm sure we will have to agree to disagree. Not interested in a debate.

    God bless.

    S Spencer,

You helped make my point, but with better clarity.

    70 AD = Luke 21:20-24 = the abomination of desolation = thy visitation = Revelation 18.

Even though the signs are there, the people will not recognize them, and follow their own narratives.

Jesus knew Israel would be destroyed not only by the Roman's, but in our day by anti-christ.

    Toxic,

Many believe in the seven years at the end times. Those seven years are taken from the seventy-week prophecy given to Daniel. My advice is to study.

    .

Daniel 9:25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

Seven weeks + threescore and two weeks = 69 weeks this is when Messiah (Jesus) first comes, when He is baptized. The next verse tells us the Messiah is cut off (crucified) after 62 weeks, this was when the restoration and repairing of the walls, streets, and gates of the city of Jerusalem by Ezra and Nehemiah ( Nehemiah 2:8-17; 4:17). Troublous times when their enemies tried to stop the building ( Nehemiah 4:7) the first 7 weeks. We know Jesus' ministry was 3.5 years.

This is 3.5 years past 69 weeks so that puts Jesus' crucifixion in the middle of the seventieth week.

I posted a 3-part post on this a few weeks past may you can pull it up and may it help you study this. Not all of Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21, what Jesus is saying is about end times.

Jesus did cover part about end times but some was telling His Apostles which we see in Mark there were only four, what they were going to have to face before the destruction of the temple. What Jesus said at first before they ask Him, not one stone would be left on top of another.

There was much of what Jesus said happened before the temple was destroyed, Wars, earthquakes, famines, false prophets, check out Simon in Acts 8, and there were more. The apostles were put in prison, beaten, and killed.

The main fact, if sixty-nine and one-half weeks is shown in scripture that has already past, you cannot put a full week at end times.

S Spencer Something interesting about noahs time, can you imagine how many people were mocking him and thought he was nuts for telling them its going to rain and flood they must have thought he was crazy. The reason is because before that time it never rained on the face of the earth. Just things I think about also the word of God Says God closed the Ark and I'll bet when Crap hit the fan nobody could open it, I think the people were so wicked that if they would have gotten on the ark Noahs family would have been history.

    Toxic,

Number one and number three in my previous post should both say three and one-half years. This has happened to me before where I've typed in the correct number but when I hit the submit button, it changes what I typed. But anyway, this seven year period is divided into two three and a half year periods. The entire seven years is known as the tribulation period. The last three and a half years are known as the Great Tribulation.
  • Jesse - In Reply - 4 years ago
    Toxic,

In order to better understand the end times, you need to know that all prophecies concerning the last days are based upon Daniel 9:24-27, which presents the 70th week of Daniel. We have not reached the 70th week yet. 69 weeks have passed, but right now we are living in what is called "The time of the Gentiles" which began on April 6th, 32 A.D., the time of Christ's death on the cross. But once the church is removed from the earth, the 70th week (7 year period) will begin.

The 70th Week of Daniel is divided into four sections:

1)Pains of birth: first 3 years of the Tribulation. ( Matthew 24:4-14)

2)Pivotal point: the mid-point of the Tribulation. ( Matthew 24:15)

3)Perils of tribulation: the last 3 years of the Great Tribulation. ( Matthew 24:16-28)

4)Promise of his coming: the Second Coming of Christ. ( Matthew 24:29-31)

All end time prophecies are centered on the Jewish people. Matthew took his outline of the 70th week of Daniel from Mark chapter13 and they both recorded the Olivet discourse. The misunderstanding of the prophecies of the last days is based upon combining Luke's account with Matthew's and Mark's account as if they are the same message. They are not the same. So what happens is we read Matthew and Mark's account of the end time and they match with each other. But then we read Luke and that's where the confusion comes in, because they are not the same!

Luke's version includes some of the same information only given at a different time, and covers different stages of the 70th Week of Daniel. For instance, In Luke 21:5-6, Jesus was still in the Temple area. And Luke 21:7 records different questions. When will these things be? What sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? Luke covers the first part of the pains of birth in Luke 21:8-11.

    HI Toxic.

I personally keep my eyes on Israel as a time peace. and the Apostasy going on and decay spiritually world wide. I don't associate none of these viruses with anything in Revelation. But I see a condition of peoples heart looking similar to the heart of those during the times of Noah. During these troubling times it has no effect on the Lost. I'M NOT SAYING WE ENTERED THOSE DAYS TO COME. Let me make that clear! But what I am saying their hearts is already in this condition.

Mathews 24:38. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark.

Noah preached 120 years while building the ark and all he could get saved out of that world was 8 souls. they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, Going on about everyday life like it is nothing happening' You would think this virus would bring fear upon people and make them consider their ways and turn to God. However a lot has been manifested during this pandemic. you sort of see a sifting going on.

And that's in the Church!! The world is carrying on the way the world does, We commit fornication by bringing the world into the the Church and leave off worshipping in truth and in Spirit and start worshipping the work of our own hands! Our self created views and join to anyone that believe on them as well. Noah never left off building neither shall we, Can you imagine the mockery he endured?!!

And that is why you see we're under so much attack when getting the Gospel out.

    GOD BLESS.

7/29/2021 I'm just curious- When Jesus talked about all those scary things happening in the end days, was He talking about those things happening nowadays (20th/21st Century) or was He talking about those things happening sometime closer to after He was crucified/resurrected/ascended???

I always thought that Luke 21 was for future readers (us) but some of those things already happened years ago.

The world as we know it, is sliding down on a greased pole into hell.

How much of Luke 21 is directed towards the believers that lived thousands of years ago and how much of it is directed towards us living in the here and now?????

If the Bible can point the finger at China and regions in the Mideast (NOT Israel), then there must be some truth in it.

We are the generation that the Book of Daniel speaks of in Daniel 12:3-13

Daniel 12:3 is our mandate, if we accept it.

The Holy Spirit is going to bring this prophesy to Light; to anoint servants and handmaids.

    God confirms His OWN WORD.

We As a Nation are being cursed according to Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28. Our Nation has made decisions that AFFECT THE NATION OF ISRAEL; and we will suffer the curses for it. It's written, it will happen. Another thing is 3 Horsemen are released.

What do the four horsemen represent?

    * The red horse of the Apocalypse represents wars.

    * The black horse of the Apocalypse represents famines.

    * The pale horse of the Apocalypse represents pestilence (disease epidemics and pandemics) and death.

    * The white horse of the Apocalypse represents religious deception. Antichrist, Beast, False Prophet.

Luke 21:25-26 Keep your heart and mind on Jesus. Wars create famine; famine creates disease, pandemics, FEAR.

THIS ALL MEANS THAT "THE CAUGHT UP IN THE CLOUDS, is really close. Evangelize those you love now. Fear is a demon, and command it to go into outer darkness, IN JESUS NAME. Eph. 6. This Bible is more deadly than an Apache Hellfire Missile. We've got to have confidence in Gods Word to get us through this part, ok? What do sheep do when they see the enemy? The run to the Good Shepherd. He is our Source, our Commander. Read of Gideon's men. The lapped water with eyes up looking for enemies. They won!!

Evangelize like Jesus did. That deserves study in the Gospels. Pray with the Holy Spirit. Always take Him with you. Settle your spirit.

Tell us in here what you want to learn. We love the brethren. Let's talk in this room.

We are in the seventh and last millednnium, or seventh and last Day, one Day with the LORD is as a thousand years, so there will be ONLY and ONLY SEVERE PUNISHMENTS day by day in this current time, and it until the END of the Devil's World. Luke 21:v.25-27 reveals: ALL THE NATIONS will have extreme or unbearable anguishes.

As is written, "upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity;the sea(the peoples, and nations, and multitudes of all tongues)and the waves roaring;26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth".

Severe plagues/severe punishments will be applied to DESTROY them which destroy the earth-Rev.11:18, but the KINGDOM of GOD will be established-verse 15.

    The LORD is at door.

The worst will be this:The door of salvation is being and will be shut by complete, day by day, while the Devil's world is SEVERELY PUNISHED,and there will be a TRIBULATION as never was before, but never. It is the END of this GIGANTIC world of the Devil, built by him.

Yeah, the worst will be this:the door of salvation is already starting to close day by day, slowly. Luke 13:24-28:

25 When once the master of the house is risen up,and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying,Lord,Lord, open unto us;and he shall answer and say unto you,I know you not whence ye are:

26 Then shall ye begin to say,We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

27 But he shall say,I tell you,I know you not whence ye are;depart from me,all ye workers of iniquity.

24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate:for MANY,I say unto you,WILL SEEK TO ENTER IN,and shall not be able.

28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth...

Mt.25:5-6: 5-While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.6 And at midnight there was a cry made,Behold, the bridegroom cometh;go ye out to meet Him.

The door is shut, MANY will scream: Lord, Lord, open to us. LATER,very later.

    Hey Richard Estrada

I did not mean to imply what you listed was wrong, but I guess a lot of it did not go along with what you posted, I do apologize. The countries you listed may come to be, but I do not know or try to figure out what countries will be involved.

As far as what I can say about the future, I feel it will be different than what many teach. I believe, as far as the countries that will be united with the beast we will not know until they are set up. I believe the beast is not a country but an angelic being from the bottomless pit along with the false prophet, with the power of Satan who will rule over those countries and the world.

When Satan is cast down all changes, what that will look like who knows but it will not be pretty.

Babel and Babylon are the same but translated differently, Babel was the start of sun worship, the host of heaven worship, and sanctified prostitution and human sacrifices. Babel started what God was constantly dealing with Israel, the gods of the countries around them.

So, my feelings are that Babylon at the end times must have similar religious attributes because of what is said in ( Revelation 17:6), ( Revelation 18:24) and ( Revelation 19:2) whether the blood and deaths of the prophets, saints, and martyrs of Jesus are from the beginning of Babel or during the 3.5 years of tribulation, that is if this Babylon carries out the punishment for not taking the mark, because many of us if we are still here, will face death.

This is probably not what you are asking for, sorry if not. If I may suggest something, not saying I know anything but it may help if you want to study it. ( Luke 21:20-24) you listed in your first post you said if the U.S. was taken out it would be easy for Israel to be invaded, true but, when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on Nisan 10 He cried and said, ( Luke 19:41-44). You may decide Jesus, in both cases was talking of the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple in 70 AD, not end times.

    God bless,

    RLW
