It is awesome in letting me know the true path of the pastor and where we have pulled away from God in during evil and mixing truth and evil together which God hates. We should stand firm on the truth of the rehma word and live so God can use us as He uses the saints of old. A living vessel to be used by You, Oh Lord!

Someone is taking the trouble to explain the situation, there is surely some purpose here more noble than it may seem.

Verse 10: "Are we not all children of the same Father? Are we not all created by the same God?"

When we understand that the personality through whom God always speaks to us is Jesus, this verse becomes clear. Jesus is the Father spoken of here. We see this in Acts 8:4-5 where God answered Paul's question, "Who are you Lord," by saying "I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting."

We must remember that Paul was a devout Jew. And he never would have considered any other God except YHWH Father God. Yet, this God identified himself as Jesus the Son.

You will not understand or believe this if you do not ask God to help you. Ask him and he will!

As a note: God has two other personalities: The personality of "The Father" is the way God directs his affairs, but he never speaks to us this way. Jesus said of him, "You have never heard his voice or seen him face to face."

The perswonality of the Holy Spirit is the way God inspires us to believe in what he is doing. That is, he helps us to understand that Jesus is the way God speaks to, and that this is true from everlasting to everlasting.

    May God bless you.

This Chapter versus 14-16 just taught me that God only wants a man to have one wife: Before reading this, I did not have back up to say whether or not God was concerned about a man having more than one wife, because of my observation of Solomon, but now I can clearly see that God wants a man to only have one Wife; that you produce Godly seed, and now I must say that; We must reading daily the entire Bible, and pray that God allows us to receive the correct understanding of his word; That we have clear knowledge of his will. Because God's word is so massive; that you can still miss some things after reading the entire Bible front to back 3 times in a row. SO THIS IS A DAILY LIFE BOOK

when you marry a strange woman, God is not in that marriage, take correction from Judah.
any marriage that God has joined together means no man will ever put asunder.

Marriage is an oath made before God to another, for BETTER or WORSE until death do part. Kristy I commend you on staying focused on God and His word for true guidance on God's perfect plan for a man and a woman. God is not the author of divorces. God has spoken! Are we listening?
God bless you, your marriage and children.
If anyone loosed his life for my sake will save it. Luke 17:33
Hang in there for Christ sake! You will be blessed! We live by faith, not by sight. 2 Cor. 5:7. Finally, God hates divorce. Malachi 2:16. If God hate it...we too ought to hate it.
The peace of God that all understanding be with you

I like this context of malachi because together with helping a christian to seek holiness by fleeing away
from evil, he is encouraging family to stick together that way they can build a nation which can be called people it is evil to hate one another the reason why divorcing is increasing is because people don't love each other as it was commanded to love one another

There is an inherent guilt when we are trying to do things that we know are wrong. How would you act if you were always worried about being exposed for things you feel guilty for? Would that shape you? The Bible says yes. It is the person who doesn’t try to cut corners at other people’s expense who can sleep well at night. The security of integrity is far greater than the anxieties that come with any wealth created by corrupt practices.

In a society where good has become "bad" and bad is "good", divorce and adultery have become a normal thing even among Christians. I pray that the God of peace speaks peace to all storm-raging families in Jesus' name.
  • Simon on Malachi 2 - 12 years ago
It's painful to God to see a family go apart or being torn apart through the bitterness of divorce, hence God hates divorce. I pray for all those marriages out there which are going through difficult times. The devil will oppose everything that represents God’s identity. He knows God hates divorce hence why he does everything to pull families apart. Let's not judge those who have divorced but pray that God grant them grace, in Jesus’ name.
