In the above verse Jesus meant that people have lost focus and have turned to church doctrines made by man but rather should focus on the ultimate commandment which is the love for one another and the love of God. Amen

This bible verse means that, anything negative in you that is not from God shall be removed. E.g sicknesses, diseases, failure, poverty, barreness, troubles, oppressions, lacks, attacks etc shall be uprooted by GOD.

Let all that you do well, be to the Glory of God. Amen.

After Just reading Matthew 15, what i recieved was that, Just because we hear or see dirty things, does not mean that it's planted an evil seed in us, but that it's really what we give ourself over to; Either to say a dirty thing to someone, or think, or do, is what shows what we have agreed with and allowed to be planted in us; So it's really what we fall into agreement with, that defiles us. And what esle i recieve is no matter how distant, or how rejected we feel from God, are persistance, and determination, out of an humble heart can bring us back to God.

It like us showing him how valuable he is to us, by are never giving up to recieve him back in are lives.

My comment is on the whole of Matthew. Son of Man is mentioned some 42 times in this gospel. Son of David at least 12 times and Son of God at least 12 times. What stands out is Jesus lineage as "Son of Man" Too many believe the apostacy that Jesus is God. He was both. He inherited mortality from his human Mother Mary but gained immortality as "the wages of sin is death (Mary) As Jesus in "all points was tempted as we are, yet without sin", death had no hold on him hence he became the first fruits of the ressurrection thus showing us the way through him to God his Father and God ( John 20:17)

Why do Christians eat pork while in the Bible it is forbidden? Answer: Some Christians do avoid the eating of pork because of the Old Testament biblical laws mentioning this. The Seventh Day Adventist is one which observes this practice. The majority of Christians believe that the laws do not apply to them and that this law, along with others, passed with the sacrifice of Christ. The teaching to eat "unclean" exists because of a misunderstanding that has been passed down and is now "tradition." There is no change to the dietary law in the New Testament (NT). Here is a list of the passages used to defend changing the dietary commands and you can easily see that this traditional teaching is not upheld from Scripture; it is the creation of man. In Matthew 15:1-20, Jesus is discussing hand washing with Pharisees, not changing non-food into food. Verse 20 makes this clear. However, men have inserted into many translations: "And thus Jesus declared all foods clean". If you check with the original Greek, or even a King James Bible, you will not find this parenthetical clause. Therefore, this is the addition of men, not the instructions of God. In Acts 10, Peter's vision was about MEN, not food. Jewish tradition was to not enter the home of a gentile because they and their home would be "unclean". The vision of the sheet with unclean items uses the same terminology that Peter uses in verse 28, proving this point: 28) "And he (Peter) said to them (gentiles), 'You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a man who is a Jew to associate with a foreigner or to visit him; and yet God has shown me that I should not call any man unholy or unclean'". The whole point of the vision was that gentiles were to be included in the covenant, not to change non-food to food. 1 Timothy 4:1-5 talks about eating what God created to be eaten, and that everything God created to be eaten was good. The word "food" or "meat" in this passage is the Greek word broma which means: broma, bro'-mah; food (literally or figuratively), especially certain allowed or forbidden by the Jewish law. (Strong's definition, broma, #1033). Paul's warning was that in the last days, teachings would arise that men should not eat what God calls clean, such as chicken or beef or fish, not to turn non-food into food. Therefore, this passage is talking about eating what is allowed under the dietary commands and avoiding what is forbidden by them. The bottom line is this: Christians are supposed to be Christlike. If Jesus did it, we would do the same. If He didn't we don't. There is no record of Jesus or the disciples ever eating anything unclean. If the dietary commandments had been changed, don't you think God would have given at least ONE example of His Son eating something unclean as an example to us that we could? Since no such example exists, then this is the teaching of men, not God. Peter is one of the disciples who ate the so called unclean things. Acts 10:9-17:
9 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray.
10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance.
11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners.
12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air.
13 Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat".
14 "Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean".
15 The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean".

I do believe that we are still taking the words of God out of their contexts simply because we do approach the Bible with our minds already made up with denominational doctrines. Otherwise something written in a plain English text shows that the Lord Jesus` accepting to be worshipped proved Him to be God ( John 20:28, Revelation 1:17-18). Another truth that this passage has also displayed is that the Jews were the FIRST CHURCH ( Acts 7:38), and that the Kingdom of God belongs to them because of the “Covenants” that God had made with their father, and again what the Syrophenician woman displayed here is that through faith the Gentiles will receive mercy and be part of the Kingdom of God. It is very wrong for anybody to teach that God has taken the Kingdom away from the Jews and gave it to the Gentiles. The only way that we can harmonize the Word of God is when we begin to crosscheck what was said in one place with another; and not apply theories to the words of God. For example what the Lord Jesus said here was in agreement with John 4: 22 where He says that, salvation is of the Jews, and in the same manner the Apostle Paul had followed Him with that tone. He disapproved every theory that the Kingdom was taken from the Jews for he always said, of the Jews first then the Gentiles Romans 1:16, etc.

This verse clearly means that worshipping Jesus Christ by anybody is false. Jesus Christ gives a clear statement regarding this. And such worship is in vain. We must only worship the God whom Jesus prayed to. Hoping for a reply.

Many bible translators agreed with the Jewish tradition of omitting or changing the Divine name. But what did Jesus said about the Jews? Matthew 15:6 "and so you have made the word of God invalid because of your tradition."

    @Elizabeth Lee,
This is why Christians need to study dispensational truth by Clarence Larkin. I Timothy 2:15, God’s plan of salvation for all mankind has never wavered, Ephesians 1:4, Matthew 25:34, God’s method may change, but not his plan. Jesus first purpose was the Jews and have the Jews to have the oracles of God and to evangelize the world, but the Jews rejected him as their messiah John 1:11. So the kingdom of heaven was postponed and ushered in the church age (kingdom of God). The responsibility has now been given over to the gentiles ( Ephesians 3:1-10) until the time of the gentiles become in ( Romans 11:25), at the rapture of the body of Christ. When Christ stated that it is finished on the cross of Calvary, salvation was available for mankind and extended to whosoever would invite Jesus into their heart as savior, Romans 10:9-13, I Timothy 4:10.

If Jesus said that he was not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Mathew 15:24)

How can then Jesus be for the whole humanity as he himself says he was only for Israel and how can he take all the sins of the world when he was only limited for Israel

Please respond to me with accurate answer

I think what Jesus meant in that statement was that every doctering, religion or teaching that is contrary to the word of God shall be cut off at the end time.

Yes I look at this blind beggar in verses 35-43 and think sometimes God wants us to seek him and not take no for an answer like this blind man didnt shut up when they were telling him to but He cried out louder. I wonder how many times as christians we ask God for something but when He wants to see how much we want it we dont scream out all the louder. I think about the women in matthew 15:22-28 and she did not take no for a answer. Even after the Lord called her a dog. But she would not take no for a answer and Jesus said great was her faith.

Jesus was dealing with planted teachings of pharisees, which had no place in God.
The answer of Jesus to the desciples was to let them know that the scribes teachings had taken serious roots in people, and therefore they were resistant to God's word.
The words of scribes had no truth nor life in them that is why they got furious on Jesus because His preaching had caused serious light in their dark teachings,'Every plant that my heavenly Father did not plant, shall be uprooted'.
Jesus wanted people to know that the heart is the most important organ, it hides every good and bad thing, therefore was dealing directly with people's heart.

Act. 15:3- let's not transgress commandments of God because of traditions. Hence if we found that a certain tradition is not from Christ and from pagan practice, let's abstain from it. Question, Is Christmas really from Christian tradition or pagan? examine it further so as not to transgress God's commandment.....

Ricky, read Acts 10:9 to 11:18. Peter has a vision of all sorts of unclean animals, reptiles and birds, and God says to him, "Get up, Peter; kill and eat them." Peter says, "Never, Lord. I have never in all my life eaten anything forbidden by our Jewish laws." Then God says, "If God says something is acceptable, don't say it isn't." The same vision was repeated three times. You see, the Gentiles ate these unclean animals, and because of this, the Jews considered them to be unclean and an inferior people. God was trying to show Peter that these things that were unclean, were now made clean by the blood of Jesus Christ and to the glory of God. God made these animals clean; therefore, the Jews no longer needed to consider the Gentiles unclean and could now eat with them without risking defilement. God accepted the Gentiles (who did not live by Mosaic law) and He baptized them with the same Holy Spirit as the Jews. You see, before Jesus's sacrifice, we had to depend on obeying the Mosaic law to make us clean--and we could never live up to it; but now, it's Jesus who makes us clean, if we abide in Him. Jesus said in Matthew 15:11, "You are not defiled by what you eat; you are defiled by what you say and do." (NLT)
