In the scriptures of matthew and in Romans it said also about the who so believeth in him in Fohn 3:16shall not perish but have ever lasting life -my question is about Davids seed when Jesus was born of the seed of David so I was wondering what he had to do with the birth of Jesus ?as David is a begatton after Jesus and I am a tiny bit wondering about this scripture due to our father in Heaven !

Mathew I is a very awesome chapter. It's very amazing how Mary was chosen to give birth to the Lord and how an angel spoke to Joseph and he was also chosen to be her husband. It's a very awesome thing.

God is the one you should obey more than anything and worship him. He create everything that is in earth even himself. And Jesus Christ is the on that died on the cross for us some people are lucky there not dead today , but they don't know what is going to happen to them tomorrow but if you are with god you will know what is going to happen to you.

God's plan is perfect. The birth of Jesus show that He is 100% God and 100% man. That is why sin was never found on HIM. Jesus Christ is purely legit to believe on. Everything that refer to the genealogies, represent that Jesus is savior, our Lord. For instance, Ruth is mentioned in the genealogy because she was a gentile, but she decide to follow God, which represent redemption of the sinners.

The birth of Christ was no accident, but rather a plan by God to redeem man.
Praise be to God for coming to get us.

It's astonishing that the bloodline of CHRIST is listed through the lineage of Joseph when he had not a drop of his blood in his veins. That's why it's important for us to know as Christians our adoption into the family of GOD is all about the FATHER.

He came as governor over Israel, to redeem their souls, that the sacrifices had provided temporary relief, Jesus being the permanent relief from sin. And to make a way for the whole world to be reconciled.
  • Bev Thom on Matthew 1 - 10 years ago
I think Matthew 1 is talking about Jesus Christ the Son of the living God. He is the promised Messiah, He came to redeem us back to God.

Isaiah 7 verse 14 Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. Note. Immanuel means God with us! Yes, When you have seen the Son you have seen the Father. Always Pray in Christ name to the Father God always for Jesus told us to do so. Credentials, to show you believe that He died on the cross for your sins.

JESUS CHRIST is God the Creator, the Father, the Son and our Saviour the Redeemer. Isaiah 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD and beside me there is no saviour. Luke 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. Acts 13:23 Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus: Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 1 Timothy 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

1 John 5:7 "There are three that bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one." (The Word is Jesus, Jesus is God=the Father)
