Hi Chris, thanks for your response. I think the OSAS view contradicts itself and contradicts scripture.

The statement "Christians cannot blaspheme" contradicts Christians having freewill. Either Christians have freewill or don't. Some people were Christians then denounced it, like Marilyn Manson, Hitler, among many others. So we have the personal evidence on Earth, and scripture evidence including Matthew 10:33 and many others.

These verses also contradict the OSAS movement. If a Christian is already saved why would they need to be on guard? What is there to 'work out' if salvation is already decided?

First a testimony. Years ago I asked the Lord: how come we only use 10% of our brains? He spoke to my spirit: "you have the mind of Christ." I knew that Jesus has a 100+ mind. I took that to mean that IN Childlike FAITH we can excel in studies. I am not saying it happens for everyone because you have turn your faith loose; nobody else can do it for you. If God says He's for you, who can be against you?

The right mindset ( Philippians 2:5-8) and strength, knowledge and wisdom to tear down strongholds ( 2 Corinthians 10:4). The day of Christ is mentioned 3 times in the KJV bible, Philippians 1:10 Philippians 2:16 2 Thessalonians 2:2, and the coming of the Lord, James 5:7 - 5:8 2 Thessalonians 2:1. We all should be waiting for the day of Christ, and not the Day of the LORD, both are totally different. Please read 2 Peter 3:10, Amos 5:18, and Amos 5:20, we should not to be hoping or waiting for the Day of the LORD.

Philippians 2:12 Paul said,"Wherefore my beloved as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." There's those words again; obey ,fear and trembling."

No where in the Bible does it say God is a - 'person'; it DOES say Jn. 4:24 and Rom. 8:16. Jesus very words I'm Matt. 28:19 do not say there are 3 persons NOR even 3 spirits; He said baptizing them in the NAME (not names). Acts 2:38 tells us what that name is. Also does Acts 4:12, also does Philippians 2:9-11; Isa.45:23. Jesus was the only 'person'.

Vv . 14-16. Do all things without murmurings and disputing, that you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God without rebuke in the midst if a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world, holding forth the word of life. Amazing scripture that fits our time on this earth. Let not our love grow cold because iniquity abounds. Jesus is our strength!

To Gary on salvation - Read Matt. 28:19, then Acts 2:37-38, then Acts 4:12; Philippians 2:9-10. In Matt. notice the word 'name'. Jesus Himself said this. Peter followed Jesus instructions in Acts 2:38, "baptized in the NAME." V. 37 they asked the brethren, "what shall we do?" Acts 4:12 says, "NONE other name." You're going to get LOTS of advice against these scriptures. Pray to Jesus of this.

Philippians 2:6,7 tells us that Jesus was made in the likeness of men, he became human and had all the charsteristics of a human being. In human form Jesus Christ felt hungry, became tired,was tempted, but never once sinned. As a human being Jesus Christ needed to be spiritually strenghtened and that is one of the reason why He prayed to His Father.

We can only be like-minded if we are led by the same spirit, the Holy Spirit. There is only one Truth and we need His help for It to be reveled to us. Only then can we have the joy and and unconditional love for each other.

Hi Jess's out of your sincere heart keep seeking the word of God for yourself and you will find that every word of God is true and yes you must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ as in Acts Chap.19 as some speak against as the people did in verse 9 in this chap.but study the word for yourself cause people will deceive you cause of the lack of knowledge. I'm speaking to you about this because of my own experience I came thru 4 different religious groups that never made a difference in my life and I'm not talking against anyone but this is my personal testimony when I got baptized in the wonderful name of JESUS.. I have never been that same person and you will feel a load lift up off you and be very eager to tell everyone you see I'm so excited that you are looking for answers just keep reading the word of God and you will find him. Jesus you can have me...

I ask this question myself what was the mind of Christ. I understand that what he done for us was to please His Father. Since I was having search a spiritual battle in my mind. I said this can't be the mind of Christ in me. I need prayer to get victory over this mind.

The mind of Christ enables us to have total victory over our enemy , sin and death.

Let the character that is in Christ Jesus, dwell within yourself. Starting with the inner man your mind.

Being the Son of God and our savior and the one who died a horrible death for us all, sealing our salvation should be accept the gift, indeed we should bow down and worship Jesus. We should bow down in gratitude that Jesus has given us the opportunity to live with God forever.
