A great psalm that gives inspiration to the righteous! Letting us know that we will not surround ourselves with the wicked but in his word and with the righteous, planting ourselves in his word that is our foundation and we will be blessed.Their is no foundation nor a future for the wicked and they will perish but the righteous will prevail..Amen!!

God provides what ever you need when you live in submission to Him. It s seems as though God makes no distinction between the righteous and the ungodly.

  • Patty Tozi on Psalms 1 - 6 years ago
Dear Lord. I woke up another day to see the sky you created for us. The trees, the birds all waking up to start their day. I start my day to ask for the wisdom your Son Jesus knew. Not the worlds way of thinking. Your way of knowing the best for us. While mankind destroys. God's people pray to stay safe, for help in doing the best for you. Looking about us we ask God to lead us to others in need.

he who delights in God's word shall prosper like a tree planted by the waters, God will sustain him, he shall not lack but will produce fruit in seaason for the glory of God
  • Patty Tozi on Psalms 1 - 6 years ago
Look inside yourself. See who you are in God's eyes. Look inside your heart, see who you feel you are. God's Love for what He wants for his children are the same values He had for His Son Jesus. So why does the evilness of not believing, always ruin the goodness of your Father in Heaven. No day is promised to you. So why waste it!
  • Shilo on Psalms 1 - 6 years ago

In this day and age, it seems that there are so many things that people are afraid of. But in the Bible, it tells us for all our fears, to seek the Lord. Seek Him with a humble and open heart. Help me to keep my mind and heart fixed on my GOD!!! Psalm 34:4: " l sought the Lord, and he answered me He delivered me from all my fears." AMEN!!! AMEN!!!! GLORY TO OUR GOD:

Psalm chapter 1 admonishes us that , for us to be blessed, we should abstain from all manners of sin. That we should not be enticed with the activities of workers of iniquities because very soon they soon fade away like chaff. Praise the Lord.

It's the perfect aid when you need a spiritual lift.
  • Dave on Psalms 1 - 6 years ago
We are no longer sinners thanks be to Jesus but we are the "RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD" in Christ Jesus! ( 2 Cor. 5:21) Jesus paid a high price for our freedom from sin! Only sinners sin willfully and longer! Whom the son sets free is free indeed! ( John 8:32) We can't be a little bit sinner and a little bit righteous, one or the other.
  • Thelma Chikodinaka on Psalms 1 - 6 years ago

  • Thomas Pradeep on Psalms 1 - 6 years ago
the broader perspective of this passage is that we must not have friendship with the world and its pleasures. We can talk to sinner and sit with them but whats the objective of that indulgence, is it for pleasure and enjoyment like most people do or is it to change their life and show them true light.
Intension of our heart is what God sees.
    Wonderful psalm by brother David!!
  • Lynne on Psalms 1 - 7 years ago
Jesus Christ is my life. He is the way,
the truth and the light.. I put my trust
and faith in him. He say I will never
leave you or forsake you. I love him
with all my heart and soul.
  • Michael on Psalms 1 - 7 years ago
V3 "whatsoever he doeth shall prosper" I suspect the prospering part of the promise includes intangible things like joy, peace, and happiness more so than worldly riches. All the martyrs down through time come to mind. "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution." 2 Tim 3:12. I'm okay with suffering now and prospering later.
  • Ricky Mccall on Psalms 1 - 7 years ago
    wat a word
  • Vanessa on Psalms 1 - 7 years ago
If you walk, sit amongst and take up counsels with sin, we have a desire to sympathize with their ways , wanting to see their reason, human nature, but then we except their sin, so best to let them see the light in you and not justify their sin for truth, all sinners have a right to salvation Jesus paid that price. If they cant be lead pray for them. Christ died for all sinners, not the righteous
  • Bruce on Psalms 1 - 7 years ago
We are to Tell Others what Christ has Done in Our Lives. And How They can be Washed by The Blood of The Lamb( Revelation 1:5) It's not so Much that We are Hanging with them. The Lost Will Not Want to be Around Us Very Long. If You Really Belong to The Saviour. Christ was with The Lost Often( Luke 7:34) Letting His Light Shine.
  • Patricia Baker on Psalms 1 - 7 years ago
verse 2- a believer enjoys,, and is happy in doing what the word of God says, and he thinks on it day and night. verse 3-one that reads and thinks on the word of God will be strong like a tree that receives nourishment from water, and the believer will tell others about the word and both will grow, and the things that he does will be of value. verse 4- the lost person is without lasting value
  • Patricia Baker on Psalms 1 - 7 years ago
We should not (as a believer)take advice from the lost person, hang out with them, or be where they will make light of the things of God and salvation.
