My answers to your questions, as given:

1. There are no apostles today, only the twelve in Jesus' day. In 1 Corinthians 12:28, Paul lists the appointments & functions in the Church. The mention of "first apostles", indicates that upon the teaching of Christ which the apostles faithfully preached, the Church is established: Jesus as the "chief cornerstone" & then comes then apostles with their teaching. Those that claim to be apostles today might be referring to their call & duties in the Church, but cannot claim biblical support for such a title as they don't meet its criteria.

2. Women do not have biblical warrant for appointment to the positions you mentioned in the Church. This is something that some Churches do for their own reasons, but not according to God's Plan.

3. There are some who claim descendancy to the Tribe of Levi, specifically to Aaron. And if so, they are given the privilege, in the synagogue, to read from the Torah. They serve the priests (Kohanim), as they did in the old days. Many have made claim to this Tribe, some false, others apparently true according to DNA testing. Those particularly who are of the Ashkenazim & Sephardim people, have shown to have a very high probability to having such connection.

Hi Mona, I agree Psalms 91 is a beautiful Psalms, I just don't see in it where we shouldn't worry about our kids behavior, Now as kids I believe they are covered by the blood of Christ as were we, but they will grow up some day. How do we celebrate their salvation Now when they haven't reached the age of accountability yet, someday they will have to make the same decision you and I made, then I say celebrate. Yes I worry about this younger generation especially in these times of rising apostasy. Again Psalms 91 is great like many other verses to only those who believe. It's like John 3:18 following another great verse John 3:16. ( He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.)

I need prayer for a miracle for a situation. Mercy, understanding, peace, calm and Gods help for the entire situation. Healing for the two people in the situation, healing in our bodies. Wisdom for the doctors to figure everything out and time, extended time to get everything done. But especially understanding from authority and mercy.

I raised three and my Boys do not like that stuff but my Daughter thinks it is ok also but I am so thankful she does not have practice it just thinks it is ok but you and I both know it is far from ok! I am going to pray for you! I pray for all the people I see on here that are really needing Gods help right now. So here I am reading Psalms 91 holding onto verse 1 because i know my God is so so so real I know where and what he brought me our of. I'm so grateful I could never deny his love and mercy because greater love than his no man has. I pray all would speak to him because he longs for a personal relationship with us as his children.
