A great Psalm to memorize. It reminds us that when we stay close to God and live in His presence we can feel safe and secure for we are under his protection.

I can truly say of my Lord : he is my refuge : He is my fortress : He is my God : In Him will I Trust . I will Trust the word of the Living God to do what He says He will do and receive all that He has bought , purchased , and supplied for me . When I say that God is Good !!! That is just a small minute thing to say when God is Greatly Good !!!!

Yes, GOD is good all the time. I trust and love our Lord Saviour with all my hear. As long as we keep the faith,trust, and forgiving heart GOD can move mountains any do anything for us. AMEN.

God is telling us that he will protect us from all evil. His shield of protection will endure through all obstacles; therefore, we have to have faith and trust God's grace. God has the power to show favor upon us daily.

''The secrete of the lord is with those who fear Him''. The word of God are mostly said in parables and are made understandable to the simple and His children ( Mark 11:4). Only HIM can help us to drop all canal knowledge and embrace heavenly knowledge to understand HIm and HIS words. We need to vigorously seek HIM and HE's more than ready to help. May HIS blessed and only name be glorify for ever.

No I don't have wings or feathers. But verse 4 says he will cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust. I believe him.God says it, I believe it through faith. He does not lie.
With men there are things that are impossible, but with God shall nothing be impossible.
There are many, many descriptions of God's physical appearance in his word that do not look like me or you.

God Is A Keeper And Protector

V. 4 (If God says he has feathers and wings; HE HAS feathers and wings. If he does not have feathers how could he cover someone, if he does not have wings how could someone be under them? Yet he says he is able to do these things!) Luke 1:37 Nothing shall be impossible with God.

To dwell is to live in : I live in the things of God : the things of God is my life. Also I believe that it is the direction of God that He directs me to go , say , do . This secret place is not for every one : only for the children of God : It is secret because not every one knows that it is attainable. Prayer : Worship : Fellowship : Communion : Oneness : Being in His word daily : you can't be close to God without being in His word . Working together : God involved in every area of my life. He is not left out of anything !!!! To me that is the secret place. It is being separate from the world : called out of darkness : I want to abide under the shadow of the Almighty !!!! Totally Awesome !!! Such Great protection !!!

To my own understanding, the word 'he' in this particular verse is not a general statement. That he means those that are committed to him and ready to serve and obey Him at any point in time. The secret place of the Most High in this context means His holy place, righteous place, faithful place, upright place, etc. And as many that are ready to dwell in that secret place shall abide under His shadow.

I feel the secret placeof God is his pesesents a place of prayer his anointing.

I think it's a very comforting verse in times of adversity. We can always go to Him with our trials and tribulations and He will take us in under His wings. His word is our shield. He is my everything!

If God does not actually have feathers or wings, then why does he give us this illustration? Perhaps because the parents of fledgling birds do all in their power to feed and defend their young, even dying for them, and since God is all powerful, how great is our providence and protection as he watches over us.

God is a shield to all who love Him and keep His commandments.

God's word does not require anyone to say a particular verse everyday.

This psalm has been referred to as the atomic age psalm, it is powerful and must be said everyday by believers for the Lords protection against all evil and calamities in today's world.....

The Psalmist here is mostly speaking about the SON OF God, for He dwelt in the secret place of the Most High before the Father sent Him into the world just as He does now. The Psalmist shows too that he trusts in YHWH and that because the SON OF MAN made YHWH His habitation that YHWH would bless HIM and keep HIM from evil that YHWH would send HIS ANGELS to protect HIM.
