Discuss Psalms 94 Page 2

Matthew Henry devoted most of his life to commenting on every verse of the Bible. He died fairly young at about 55 from I believe a cardiac event. I read his commentary after almost every scripture.

His comment on the next psalm is relevant to Real Life's and Charles Pineda's comments.

Matthew Henry said:

"7-11 Christ calls upon his people to hear his voice. You call him Master, or Lord; then be his willing, obedient people. Hear the voice of his doctrine, of his law, and in both, of his Spirit: hear and heed; hear and yield. Christ's voice must be heard to-day. This day of opportunity will not last always; improve it while it is called to-day. Hearing the voice of Christ is the same with believing. Hardness of heart is at the bottom of all distrust of the Lord. The sins of others ought to be warnings to us not to tread in their steps. The murmurings of Israel were written for our admonition. God is not subject to such passions as we are; but he is very angry at sin and sinners. That certainly is evil, which deserves such a recompence; and his threatenings are as sure as his promises. Let us be aware of the evils of our hearts, which lead us to wander from the Lord. There is a rest ordained for believers, the rest of everlasting refreshment, begun in this life, and perfected in the life to come. This is the rest which God calls his rest."

We should heed his comments or at least certainly consider them.

To Real Life Game of Thrones and Charles Pineda,

I so appreciate your comments. To Real Life, I have wondered if the Covid pandemic, earthquakes, locusts in I believe southern Africa recently are an expression of God's displeasure and an encouragement for all lambs to get back to what matters and that is doing God's will and learning to hear him and stop sinning though we are sinful creatures.

The Dems don't seem to think properly. Too loose on morals and not aligned with scripture in my opinion.

This is certainly a unique time in the history of this Earth. Rome and Greece probably never thought they would end but they did. Likely same with the Aztec people.

I think, I could be wrong, but these powerful cultures were around for about 500 years. A drop in the bucket of time compared to eternity.

Being ready to go to me means being ready to go as in "to the next life".

Make the effort to hear His will and to do His will. Pray, have conversations with God, know this---He does not stray, He is always with us. We are the ones that stray like toddlers who think they are fine without their parent toddling off to far away.

God bless all His lambs and I pray we hear Your will.

Thank you Real Life and Charles. And Real Life, it must be hard to have the visions because this where we are is the Devil's playground as he moves to and fro searching to steal, kill and destroy God's lambs. It would be hard to see.

I just send an e-mail to a friend of mine in So. California and told her to read Isaiah 59, verses 6-15,16-19, and 20-21.

I truly believe that the Lord of the heavenly forces, through His scriptures, can best allow us to read how He works when he is fed up with a nation.

Now, many of the actions mentioned are not related to Revelation. No they are God's judgement when His merciful limits are reached, and then His fury is appropriated to that nation, and it's non-God fearing people. Just like in Sodom and Gomorrah. God's people were saved except Lot's wife who didn't follow the instructions of the angels.

Pray for UGM Pastor/ Director Tim Lane and family who just lost his wife Olga to covid 19, and for "Jack" who has "backslid", in all probability, due to bad influences.

I'm praying for the House Reps to do what the public is writing & emailing for: Nancy Pelosi to step down. Her previous and present association to OBAMA is telling and unmasked at this point. Her hate is very evident.

What did Democrats do when last week, Singing was banned in all Churches?

Did they protest that only 30% can attend their church?

Are they not currently going after tax exempt status of Churches?

Are they not planning to make all schools and college to have co-ed bathrooms? So little girls may have an adult male in the next stall?

Dormitories on campus to be co-ed; so that women who may have been abused or raped previously,

have a transgender male as a roommate?

I am for Choice in education! My tax dollars should be withdrawn from colleges and given to parents so their kids can live off-campus; and enjoy privacy and modesty; and get an education.

I don't think anyone should count on God to not judge this nation for its loose morals, inability to enact laws that make sense: but proceed full steam to make this Nation a object of jokes and disrespected World Wide. Now, we are like every other nation!

Just the pure amount of legislation against Churches is nothing to be proud of. We as a nation have become Rome. It will burn and be no more. That's how I know God is judging us; that includes those who "govern" us.

I have visions. I am to pray and intercede for this nation. I can warn. I know there are many others who do this too. The US can't live under the radar anymore. Prophesy will push forward. United States is called "Islands of the Sea." What the Bible says, is what the US will do. You can't stop it.

The violence is not going to stop. It is a sign of the times.

Get your families in Jesus now. There's too many confirmations. Be ready to go. Keep looking for His appearing. Stop sinning and watch for Jesus.

Let's quit playing "game of Thrones" and choose life; choose Jesus before it's too late. You too.

This is a Wonderful psalm Kevin. Verse 14 in particular, be rest assured the Lord is with the United States of America. And will not forsake his people.

I pray this Psalm as much as possible for the salvation of the United States of America and for the destruction of its enemies that are living within it's borders. Only God can save america.

Who is so great as our God?Who can compare to HIM? For His grace and mercy has brought us favor and His love has been our refuge!

Bless Him today and forevermore for His delight is in our worship!

The 17th and 18th verses of this Psalm have greatly ministered to my soul.

Our God is truly faithful !!

this was one of the earliest verses that taught me to rely on God in total faith that He would keep me safe, secure and solid regardless of life's trials and tribulations.

My Father in Heaven is so special to me. Each morning and night l pray --thy will be done in my life. He has given me many Blessings l now hold. I am very gratefu--l l waited for His timing, knowing it would be the best for me. Thank God for Psalm 23 and John 3:16.He is our true creator..The Beginning and the end.of our Life.l walk one day at a time. Always there for others as my Father is for me!

Here, the wicked threatens the righteous with his court of lawlessness saying, (This is comforting when we face injustice or when we are done wrong by others in this wicked system, that Jehovah, our awesome God,has it all under control.) How is JEHOVAH your GOD when ye confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh? Ye are now being tried and are in contempt of GOD'S court for denying the Son.

Verse 23~This assures us that Jehovah God will make sure that the wicked receive just punishment for their crimes.

this is comforting when we face injustice or when we are done wrong by others in this wicked system, that Jehovah, our awesome God,has it all under control. The willbe punished! PSALMS 73 By no means envy the wicked.....

Everything described here happens to a certain people in the world more than other people. Let's be honest with ourselves folks.

I do it everyday, it keeps me focus, to always believe in Gods mercy and grace always

Its a chapter that gives you assurance that God's banner of love covers all. If you believe, it will work for you.

Jesus is Lord over all. The reading of Psalm 94 comforts the mind, heart and soul!

Praise the Lord for he knows all about all of us he knows all of our thought be they good or bad and he still loves us threw a lot of things he never stop loving us if we are a child of Jesus we should be able to love people threw some of their trials whether they are saved or unsaved we can only do this if we have the holy Ghost he will no what to do Amen

It is comfort to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. God's sovereignty reigns above all. He answeres to no one. God's authority, love, holyness, faithfullness, power to us who believe is no less today than the day he spoke the world into existance. It is comfort to know God is still on the throne. This chapter gives a believer hope when there seems to be none. When your faith is wavering and you feel defeated just hold on to his word.

Verse 19 shows that God gives us comfort when we are overwhelmed with anxieties.

it is always good for us to live our battles for God to fight for us provided we believe in Him for vengeance belongs to Him. let us put our trust in Him as David said in Psalm 94:1. Let us also be under the shelter of God always for His protection, for if we hide under Him, He shall cover us with His wing. Amen

It is a beautiful thing to have a God that really cares so much that he gave his only begotten son for the life of many.

"Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither by thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass and wither as the green herb". Ps. 37:1

Reading this Psalms is so comforting

This is a great assurance for those who believe in God and have faith in Him.
