I've been hearing about a massive super hadron collider in the EU built underground that is 7 miles in diameter. It was designed to try to open another "parallel dimension" by slamming protons together at a very high rate of speed to 'create a big bang environment with a goal of sending something from ours into this other dimension, but also possibly bringing something from the other dimension into ours. It is called CERN. They have their "GOD" Shiva statue in the entryway and they also worship abbadon/appolyon. I feel like they are 'possibly' trying to open the "pit" (or they are the 'vehicle') to open the bottomless pit. Has anyone done any research into this? VERY strange to me.....

Paula Price, I've heard that music, whether or not in church, can suppress repentance. It can also suppress a guilty conscience, which is why King Saul ordered David to play music. It says when David played, the evil spirit from God (aka, guilty conscience) would leave him. It might even suppress other manifestations of the Holy Spirit.

Trumpets are not literal trumpets you can hear, they are trumpets of war. Wasn't 9-11-01 Rev 9-1-11, the 5th trumpet? At the 5th trumpet America attacked itself, then rushed off to war, killing millions of innocent Iraqi's all on a pack of known lies. Revelation 9:4 America was commanded to not hurt the grass or green thing, or any tree of which there is none in the desert. America+ allies killed Muslims who do not have God's seal in their foreheads (non-Christians). Isn't that the allegory of what happened? Look what happens in the second half of the chapter: Rev 9:13-21 where the 6th trumpet army (Russia) crushes the 5th trumpet army (America) to dust.

God knows who the 144,000 are, and I'm sure they are righteous souls. The 2 witnesses from both houses of Israel are there to document anti-Christs crimes for trial, as required by the law.

Too many people think that Elijah and Moses are the 2 witnesses, which goes to prove how easy it is to be a slave to what someone else believes.

Too many people believe in a pre-6th trumpet, day of the Lord rapture. Rapture is not Bible doctrine. Luke 17: 34-37 Jesus describes those being "taken" at the day of the Lord's visitation. They ask him, Lord, where are they taken? Jesus says you will find the bodies where the vultures are gathered--(they're dead).

However, at the 7th trumpet, the few who make it through the great tribulation are given an air lift to Christ. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 is how it's done. From an earlier question, Revelation 10:7 has a connection to Rev 11:15, providing resolution to the mystery.

I want more too. I'm sure 9-11-01 was Rev 9:1-11; the 5th trumpet sees mystery America terrorizing the world with their phony war on terror. Fred, the Spirit is gracing you with his understanding and his wisdom. My reply is not so much to you; but to others who read and respect your comments. Our process of dying to the flesh and being made alive by the Spirit is described throughout the word of God, but most are hidden in parables, metaphors, similitudes, proverbs, etc. This is the Spirit's doing because without the SPIRIT you can't understand.

Revelation is especially symbolic and hidden from natural eyes. It also describes how we die to the flesh.

Rich, could you clarify? I believe that the sin nature did find its root when Eve (& Adam) sinned against God through disobedience. And through them, sin was passed onto all of us ( Romans 5:12): "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned".

Sheila, the passage about the Seventh Seal ( Rev 8:1) involves the Seven Angels with the Seven Trumpets sounding. As you know, all this is a description of the time when God's Wrath (the Great Tribulation) is to come upon the unbelieving world. In Rev 9:1, it's the turn of the Fifth Angel of the Seven, to sound his trumpet & a part of this outpouring of God's Anger, unbelievers are to physically suffer a most horrible agony as when a scorpion strikes a man (v5).

So to have all this happen, the key to the bottomless pit is used to release these demons that are directed to give extreme pain & suffering to those who are not sealed by God. I don't believe that a demon is given the key to open the pit & release the demons, but an angel from God. And Abaddon/Apollyon is the 'king' angel from the Pit (i.e. a satanic angel) who may be instrumental in leading out the legions of demons to accomplish their devastating task on the Earth. So he & they are evil, but God can & does use evil spirits, people, & kingdoms to accomplish His Purposes.

Yet, it's noteworthy that those with the 'seal of God on their foreheads' are to be spared (v4). Christians are not here at this time, as they have been removed to Heaven long before; and Christians are sealed, not on their foreheads, but in their spirits by the Holy Spirit: "ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory." So who are these left on the Earth that have God's Seal on their foreheads? They could be the Elect from Israel who never turned to Christ for their salvation but yet are to be saved through recognizing their Saviour when He returns again & figure in the Millennium reign of Christ on the Earth.

Im confused, is Abaddon, Gods angel or demonic? Why would Jesus give up his keys to hell to a demon? If he is the destroying angel used by God to cause harm to evil people, doesnt that make him good?

Hello, there's nothing in the Bible saying to not use a musical instrument, but it does say the opposite. David played the harp: 1 Samuel 16:23

Psalm 150:3-4 - Says to worship with trumpet, harp, psalms, timbrell, stringed instruments, organ.

Instruments will be in heaven too- harps. Rev 15:2-3

It says worship in spirit and truth: John 4:23.

Playing an instrument is like serving and sometimes is hard to focus on worshipping God. But the same thing can happen if you're the leader singing, or if you're in audience reading notes or spacing out. So, I think there's a case for each where we need to make sure its done in spirit and truth and done to glorify God, not ourselves or some other purpose. God bless...

I have a question concerning musical instruments in our worship today.. I have read and study one view on this and it is something that I have never studied before and had never even heard in all of my church going years. There are those who believe that instrumental music is not authorized for the New Testament worship of God today. I have read all the scriptures supporting this but it has come from one source. What is your commentary on this subject and do you have scripture to validate your stand? I have read the new Testament and have not found the use of musical instruments mention when the disciples gathered to worship. How did it come to be acceptable in our worship services if it was not authorized by God for his worship to him according to the gospel of Jesus? I would just like to hear another view on this subject but know that we are worship God in spirit and in truth. We are to do the will of God, and not what is pleasing to us. When we gather together for worship we are to worship according to His purpose and by his authority, according to the New Testament. The Israelites were commanded to worship with music in the Old Testament, but no mention of instruments were mentioned in the new Testament.
