The Word of God is God ( John 1:1) and is not of any private interpretation ( 2 Peter 1:20).

The word 'Repent' in different forms (repent, repentance, repented, repentest, repenteth, repenting, repentings) is mentioned 110 times in the KJV, and means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. The word 'repent' used in the New Testament was translateed from the Greek word "metanoeo", and means to change, transform, to think differently or reconsider.

It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), as mankind follows after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9).

It is only by revelation of God that people will come to know the true Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1), and only then will you be able to overcome the spirit of this world ( 1 John 5:4; Rev. 3:21) and learn what 'True Repentance' means, and how this whole world has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9). It should also be remembered that it is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).

    John 1:13

By nature every person is born in sin through the sinful seed of their natural fathers and conditioned therein ( 1 Peter 1:23). For that reason and in order to become a son of God, which are born of God, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, a person must be 'Born Again' ( John 1:12,13; 3:3-7; 1 John 3:9; 5:4).

By attending a man-made institution ( Acts 7:48; 17:24) a few hours a week does not mean that a person can make a claim that they are followers of Christ and 'Born Again'. That is falsehood, as in truth they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; Rev. 12:9). This is how Satan has transformed Himself into an angel of light ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15).

Only through 'True Repentance' will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. • How Satan lost the Keys to Jesus - In Reply on John 3 - 4 years ago
Very briefly: When Adam sinned by eating the fruit and was banned from the Garden; he lost the mandate that he had been charged with by God. Satan stole the keys.

You see satan in Job 1, bragging.

When Jesus came out of the grave, He went and got the keys back from Satan. He preached to the captives in hell and led them all out; took them through the streets so all could see.

    Revelation 1:18

I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

I don't call that mocking. You did, didn't you? Mocking and accusing is a fruit: attributes of Satan. Exactly like what he was doing in Job 1.

Jesus legally took all that power away from Satan when He went to the Cross. John 3:16 < link

Satan didn't know what was really happening or he would have stopped the trial and the crucifixion. He didn't read the scrolls that were being written. He must've forgotten about the prophesy God spoke to him in Genesis 3:14-15. Hebrews 2:14

    Romans 16:20, 1 John 3:8

His time is short and he knows he is going to be cast into hell. That's why there is so much spiritual warfare in our world now.

Ephesians 6. Satan is sending his evil angels out into the world to kill as many humans as he can by accident, illness, pandemics, depression, suicide, drugs and alcohol; even riots in streets = where demons will seek to enter inside of unaware humans.

2 Timothy 3:13, evil will wax worse and worse!! It's not ever going to go back to normal.

After the Rapture (Caught Up), it will be this bad times 10. After Antichrist finishes pretending to be Mr. Fix-Everything that's wrong with the world ....all hell will break loose on earth. All prophesy.

You should switch sides now and hang with Jesus. He's going to be moving real fast.

    Patricia Robinson, WOMEN SHOULDN'T TEACH

If you do not want to teach the word of God and lead other people that know less than you because you believe that the Bible tells you that you shouldn't, that's up to you.

Can you show me where it says that women SHOULD NOT lead or guide others in the word of God?

    What about Priscilla

    Acts 18:26,

"And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

    Romans 16:3

"Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:"

Notice whose name came first this time!

Priscilla is teaching and leading the flock.

Pastor means to "rule" or "tend or "herd" a flock.

Disciple means to "goad" or "teach."

Elder means "honorable" or simply "older" and specifically refers to men AND WOMEN.

1 Timothy 5:2 speaks of the "elder women" of the people.

God has NEVER excluded half of His people from being able to teach others His Message!

    Lora, CONCERNING THE WORD "MYSTERY"

I agree with you, the mystery of God is complex.

I do not agree with you concerning the "mystery of godliness" as it pertains to Scripture you provided, being God Himself. I believe it concerns the Son of God being born of woman ( Isaiah 7:14). Jesus is the One spoken of in 1 Timothy 3:16 and the One promised in Genesis 3:15

I agree with you, Jesus is the way to salvation.

I, however, must disagree with you that God is Jesus and Jesus is God, and again will state that I believe Jesus never came claiming to be His Father.

Jesus came as the personification of the Words of the Father John 1:1-2); and His authority came from the Father; and He lost none of His Father's sheep ( John 17:12)

But Jesus is not the Father.

The word mystery only occurs in the New Testament.

The word "mystery" is the Greek word "musterion" and basically means a "secret."

There is more than one "mystery" spoken of in Scripture.

There is the mystery concerning the DURATION of time of the blindness of Israel ( Isaiah 6:9-10, Romans 11:25).

There is the mystery concerning the kingdom of God which was revealed in parables to the general public, but explained to the 12 Apostles; ( Matthew 13:10-11, 1 Peter 1:10-12)

There is the mystery concerning the fact that "we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed" ( John 11:25-26, 1 Corinthians 15:51, also look at Philippians 3:14, 1 Thessalonians 4:15, Hebrews 9:27)

There is the mystery of iniquity and lawlessness that is connected to MYSTERY BABYLON of Revelation 17:5-7, (look at Daniel 8:23, Daniel 12:4, Matthew 22:4, Acts 2:38, 2 Thessalonians 2:7)

There is the great mystery or secret concerning the Gentiles being co-heirs in the body of Christ, which was only revealed after the second rejection the King and the Kingdom by the Jews in Acts 28:17-31. This is the secret that was kept secret since the world began and what is being spoken of in Romans 16:25-26, Ephesians 3:1-12, and Colossians 1:24-27.

In 2 Corinthians 12:7 Paul speaks of a "thorn in the flesh". In Galatians 4:13-15 Paul speaks of infirmity and mentions eyes. Some have inferred that he had an eye condition that would make it difficult to see. Also in Galatians 6:11 he says, "Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand." Whatever the reason, he seems to have had assistance in writing the epistles. Romans 16:22 says, "I Tertius, who wrote this epistle, salute you in the Lord."

The footnotes in question are not scripture but added by translators.

Mentioned as scribes are Tychicus, Epaphroditus, Titus, Luke, Stephanas, Fortunatus, Achaicus and Onesimus.

Some of the letters are collaborations of Paul and Timotheus as evidenced in the greeting. Also Sosthenes and Silvanus are included in other introductions. In Colossians 4:18 Paul inserts into the text, "The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds."

We are certainly blessed by all their faithful endeavors.

It says I Tertius, and Tertius is a slave name. And the name Tertius means three. Many of the lower class slaves were numbers. They were not names.

It says I Tertius, who wrote this epistle. He was Paul's amanuensis. Paul dictated the letter to Tertius. I salute you in the Lord.

So Paul let him. Paul said go ahead, if you want to greet him, put in your own greeting, number 3!

Shirley, that passage in Romans 16 speaks of the apostle Paul referring to those who were trying to cause divisions in the Church by misusing the Word of God that was taught to them by Paul. So to those who were disruptive & forceful would be dealt with by the God of Peace. He would "bruise Satan under your feet shortly...". A similar word was used in Genesis 3:15 speaking of Jesus 'bruising' Satan's head, while Satan 'bruises' Jesus' heel (at the Cross). So the word 'bruise' means: to subdue or to have victory over.

Being followers of Christ we do not sit passive and pamper sinful ways or we stand divided from God, we rebuke those in sin and even pray God will give us the verse to show to them be firm in the word, correcting is caring and loving, if we didn't then we would say nothing and let them walk into the fire,as some of the churches are doing today, cherry pick scripture GBU all

If you research Romans 16:20 you will find that Paul had his heels bruised by Satan physically because he preached what bruised Satan's head which was the Ram substitute provided to Abraham and also the dyed red Rams skins used by Moses for the covering of the Holy tent. The original Hebrew had a masculine pronoun, the King James version has it, and the Roman Catholics have she shall bruise.

Verses 3,4~ Aquila and Priscilla were true friends to the apostle Paul. They even risked their own lives in his behalf.

Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned and avoid them. Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. I know if I tell the truth about the Gospel, people might see the Light and believe. Share the Gospel....

Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, We must read all Paul's mysteries in order to understand the Grace age of the Jesus Christ our Lord in the Body of the Church. Doctrine is something that is taught.Principle knowledge. The Gospel of Christ is doctrine. Ephesians 4:14"That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men and cunning craftiness where by they lie in wait to deceive." Romans 16:17,6:7, 1Cor.14:6,26, Isaiah 28"9.In the context of these verse, doctrine is the counsel of God

Butch, many are made Christians by taking Christ as personal Saviour. Shouldn't be sad for you that others are saved. Living in victory. Don't try to limit the Lord by your understanding alone. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are limitless in scope and action. Man tries to limit the work of the Saviour. He'll do as is needed to keep souls out of the fire. Victorious living. GBU
