Steve Morrow, I didn't take to heart those scriptures, woman usurping authority nor for that woman to learn at home, until reading comments on this sight. One woman needs to not comment too much and read that which others, including women, write. Thanx for the insight. GBU

I'm looking at Romans as a spiritual self help book. When we can't see ourselves in God's word as obedient servants, we drift into an abyss to the fleshly desires and we could end up in a reprobate state. All the warnings are there, we have to heed them. My first comment 😇

6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Iren123 we must rightly divide the Word of truth in order to understand the Bible correctly. It sounds like you love the Lord, so do I. Romans is a good book to study when you want to know about the Law. Apostle Paul explain that very simple. We are not under the Law but we are under grace through Jesus Christ our Lord plus nothing. Let God almighty have all the honor and glory in his Word .

Steve morrow, I agree with you 100%! It is one of many things that the "Western" world has thrown off and rejected, that the Lord commands obedience and subjection of the women in the Assembly. They somehow feel that they are above such things, and don't have to obey; but there is good reason for the woman being ordered to keep silence; and a real woman of God will not teach or dominate over men.

To Joey on 12 15 '15 - What Peter wrote, what Paul wrote, what James wrote, what Jude wrote, are all from the 'mouth' of GOD. ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God. Who is - JESUS Jesus Jehovah in O.T. is God's name.

In Acts, Paul's conversion had not had time to reach Jerusalem when first he went there. In his letter he had been converted for quite some time and was well known and known of in Jesus' church, altho' he hadn't personally been to the Rome church as yet. The things of Rom. happened AFTER the things of Acts. "Come now, let us reason together ....." Isa.1:18.

It is hard to tell if these to whom Paul wrote, were actually yet saved Believers in Christ. In Acts, when he first arrived in Rome, they had only "heard, that this sect was evil spoken of everywhere;" and he also says here that he is ready to preach the Glad Tidings to them ALSO. He goes on to say how God's judgment and divine power is shown in the way He MAKES people according to their own ways.

Romans wasn't the beginning of the church, nor does it contain any plan for initial salvation. Romans was a letter to the already established church (sinners already saved by Acts 2:38); it was to MAINLY the Jewish Christians that were having 2nd thoughts about laving the now defunct O.T. law of blood sacrifices and it's accouterments, the law Jesus fulfilled in His sacrifice.

    Isaiah 12:2

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

    "JEHOVAH"

Let us adore Jehovah the creator of the universe and life, and who promises eternal life in this land converted into a paradise

    NO CREED BUT CHRIST.
    NO LAW BUT LOVE.
    NO BOOK BUT THE BIBLE.
May GOD bless you all richly.

Tony:Yes it will. Years back pastors and others would be out inviting people to church, talking about the Lord and the Bible, it was common and accepted. People would receive 4- 12 visits a month from four different churches, plus JW. Today 0-5 maybe! Mostly JW. When "June" happened, shocked, total disbelief?!??!? GOD "did" bless U.S.A the Night cometh, when no man can work

    Vs. 20

Very simple and makes sense. How can anyone look at the creation of the world and rule out that someone created it? Creation itself should tell you there is an intelligent designer. However, we can not rely on creation to tell us everything about Jehovah God. We must also read his word the Bible as it reveals the character of the Creator.

Romans 1:1-2 references the scripture wherein GOD said, I will send you pastors and teachers after mine own heart. Paul's calling was a call of election by the WILL

I think Romans 1:20 is a lovely verse: It assures me that God, our father of heavens, is taking care of us.

Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; I am come to send fire on the earth; I and my Father are one.

In this scripture homosexuality is clearly a sin. Whilst we don't condemn the sinner, sin should be condemned. There is no place in the true church of God to normalize homosexuality. The widening prevalence of homosexuality is a sign of the coming of the LORD. It is set to continue worsening as it was in the time of Soddom and Gomorrah.

Jehovah God has clearly put time and effort into the many wonderful things and creatures that we see around us today. Looking at the detail and orderliness of things, it is inexcusable to deny God's existence.

at first I didn't understand the verse, but it makes me think about how marvelous God is just when I sometimes think what exactly happened, now I see its through the hands of someone in as much as someone created this laptop internet there is a hand that also created the mind to make that laptop or internet... all things are driven by the Man above that is God himself.... I love this

Jesus himself is the Word of God if you believe Jesus as the Son of the Living God and Abide his words into your life you will have life in abundance. Obedience to his words are more than sacrifice. He who believes Jesus as the Son of the Living and his words will not be Condemned. He who believe Not is condemned already.Thank you Jesus for your Blood that shed for us we are saved Praise you Lord

Rev.Miller:Mark16:14-15 Christ and The 11 were having a meal. He told the men:go ye into all the world--. But they had to wait until they were baptized. Acts1:4-5. Our Lord does see gender. In the beginning male and female. In The Church Bishop must be the husband of one wife, 1Timothy 3:2. Husbands love your wives, as Christ loved The Church--- Ephesians 5:25. Yes men and women can go to the world
