Pauline; From the beginning sacrifices were intended for bringing sin to remembrance, and for a sign of the suffering of the Saviour to come. God first, in making coats of skins for the man and his wife, and next by Abel offering of his flocks in presenting himself and giving account to God; according to the Word of Christ coming to break the head of the devil by Himself being slain.
