    I too have had a struggle with this. i believe it's because we have been taught wrong. Abraham had two wives. Jacob had four. and on and on. i think the bible teaches that when a man takes a wife, she has to be a virgin; Remember there was no ceremony by a pastor given back then. The daughter was betrothed or given to the man by the parents. There is not enough room here to fully explain. but if you want to know more e mail me. In His Service...Ken
