mark 4,10thru12 Jesus tells those, and the disciples around about Him that to them the parables are given to understand and know the mystery of the kingdom of God to but to those without it is hide, AND HERE'S MY QUESTION..The last part of verse12 JESUS SAID Lest AT ANY TIME they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them. WHY, WHY Would JESUS say No to converting and forgiving???
Hi Shane this message is in referance to those mentioned in 2 Peter 2 and it's about being forgiven by the Church, God knows our Hearts but it's not His will that anyone perishes it's their choice they will reap what they sow. We don't Judge Anyones Eternal Salvation but if they reject Correction than we are not to fellowship with them or those who continue to reject God's Truth. Blessings -Anne.
Good question. Jesus wants us to be saved- that's why he died on the cross for everyone. But people first need to open their hearts and hear the truth to believe. Some don't want to and would prefer a lie. We see this today in our divided society with half of the people preferring lies over truth. Similar verses: 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12, Isaiah 6:9-10.
Mark 4verse12 Jesus is telling his disciples and the people around about him that if he spoke planly to them without parables as he does with them they would be converted and be saved so my question is why wouldn't he want that for all them that came and listened to him preach so they would be saved. I don't get it
