Here is my next posting to follow the post of last month. Again, i welcome your comments, corrections, or differeing thoughts.
Last month, I wrote about God's will and man's will emphasizing God's sovereignty and man's contingency. The first section of this writing really connects to the A-Z postings Richard and I did on the attributes of God in recent months.
I am convinced that having a biblically based and high view of God in all of His attributes helps us to align with Scriptures as to God's sovereignty, holiness, righteousness as well as His authority and right to act upon His justice, judgements, wrath, grace and mercy as He freely chooses.
In the next sections I present what the Scriptures say about God's holiness and righteousness, His standard of righteousness for His moral creatures, fallen man, the effects of the sin of Adam, the sinful nature, the state of unregenerate man, the state of regenerated man, and the extent of the corruption of each and every human, often termed as depravity.
GOD'S HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS
Scripture states again and again that God is holy and righteous to the ultimate and unlimited sense. He is absolutely pure. There is no sin in Him, no inclination to even consider acting sinfully, nor can He ever be tempted by evil.
God is altogether good. He will never do what is evil ever. He always acts completely according to His perfect character. Therefore.it is impossible for God to sin against Himself.
God's holiness is not only absolutely pure and good, but in His holiness He is set apart from all evil and sin. He cannot look upon sin or evil beings and not express His wrath and judgment on them.

Habakkuk 1:13 says tells us this truth.
