Comparing first chapter of the gospel of John to the first chapter of genesis .
Is the ' Word ' of John chapter one , the same as the Spirit of God in Genesis chapter one verse 2 ? Is that possible given that ' all things were made by him ' ? It fits with Jesus being the Word made flesh as Jesus was filled with God's Holy Spirit without measure . Therefore Jesus is the Spirit of God made flesh . John chapter one verse 14 : And the Word was made flesh , and dwelt among us , ( and we beheld his glory as if the only begotten of the Father ,) . So the Word of John chapter one refers to the Spirit of God in Genesis chapter one and the Word was made flesh of John chapter one verse 14 is the man Jesus , who received the Spirit without measure , John chapter three verse 34 .
