God created the heaven and the earth. By word of God he 'framed' heaven and the earth: the earth is created 'after our likeness' in terms of the Father Son relationship. In the Gospel of John we have the Word,"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.". In order make this distinction we have this saying of Jesus." For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother."(Mt.12.48-50) This familial relationship is on the basis of the Word which was with God. Jesus Christ as the firstborn of all creation renders us co-heirs with him in the family of God. Thus sons of Adam have a different meaning.
