"Save me, O God; for the waters are come in unto my soul./I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me."
"He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters."(Ps.18.16)Deliverance of saints from many waters indicate passage of time, end times. Also rendering the world as distinct from heaven where the divine Will is established forever as the Law. God is a Spirit and the Law consequently is the Law of the Spirit. When the Spirit moved upon the face of the waters it has had consequences. "The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled." (77.16). In terms of the Law what signifies fear elicited by the waters. One answer is in terms of sin and death. So we have this verse, "The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?"(Is.33.14)
In terms of heaven the eternal word of God frames Zion and as we discussed in the previous post 'this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, theLordwill dwell in it for ever." The Spirit of God declares it to the waters which is what the above mentioned verse from Gen.1.2 indicates. The sinners in Zion is afraid and what do they teach instead? God created the heaven and the earth in seven days. The Spirit of God presents the devouring fire to which we have the Ancient of days seated in his fiery throne. He opens the books in accordance with the everlasting Covenant and the Law also sets the judgment. Where is the dino? asks the hypocrites. They have a gap theory as well.
"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,/Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son." (Heb.1.1-3) God sent his Son in the fulness of time."The Spirit moving upon the face of the waters also conjures up generations.
