    Gen.ch.2.1 "Complete Will"

Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them." The adverb 'Thus' refers to what went before and what follows in this chapter is the fulfilling aspect of the Son. Gen.1.1 began with the perfect statement of God as the Will the Doer and as the Word. The Father the Son and the Holy Spirit renders the everlasting Covenant take on a definite direction where time works as He has set in lockstep with the Word was with God. Heaven and the earth of 7 days are part of their trinitarian unity. The fruit bearing tree ' after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth,' is the consequence of the Word which was with God, even where is revealed as the Son of man holiness of the Word shall not change its emphasis or meaning. "In him was life" gives life. " It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life."(Jn.6.63) . He is the true Vine. ( Jn 15.1)

Ch.1 narrated the divine Will as a Covenant and 2.1 the Spirit annotates the Will fulfilled. What we have is the fulfilment of the Will. Holiness of God, a facet of which is mercy is here set forth as rain. " for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground." His blessings are now tied in terms of man. He is created after our image and after our likeness.' (2.5)
