Meditations- Gen.2.2 "Time to plant"

" And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made."

The Preacher speaks of seasons. ' a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted' In the kingdom of God 'To every thing there is a season,' and When the Great Sower cast the seed it was meant to bear fruits and as surely as planted there shall be harvest, and the Lord shall say to the reapers,' but gather the wheat into my barn.',Mt.13.30;Eccle.3.1-2) God rests as a sower does, but the seed germinates and require looking after. He sends his angels, prophets so there is not God's calendar left for idling. Is there ever a holiday from holiness. Neither in heaven nor in earth., "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,/Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds";
